She was spectacular! She brought us drinks and food in a very timely manner. We got the nachos and bao buns and they were incredibly tasty! Quinn continued checking in on us and when it was time to go to the sing suite, she escorted us there and got us all set up. This was a new menu to me - I think they changed a few things to simplify their menu, but the food is still great! I got the sweet heat cheddar burger and it was delicious. I don't like a ton of spice and this was not an issue at all - just the smallest amount of heat if you're worried about it (balanced nicely with the sweet jam). Our family and I stopped here to spend some time together before the crazy baseball season started. Of course, with our family being super competitive, we had to go to the bat box they assigned us the cage on the right that had a few technical difficulties. At one point nothing was supposed to happen and two balls shot out at once and hit my son in the stomach while he was listening to the employee on how to play a particular game we were about to start. I wasn't too terrible hungry so I went with a side salad that was plentiful. My husband and son shared the street tacos that could feed an army...there were a ton of tacos. My ordered their mac & cheese that he said was good but could've had a bigger portion size for him. We were assigned the one bat box that had a lot of technical issues, but they were quick to take care of everything and were very apologetic about the mishaps. Our servers were great too. Checked out Smash Park in La Vista for the first time and it was definitely a unique experience! They've got all kinds of activities--pickleball, axe throwing, bowling, yard games--and a full food and drink menu, so it's a great spot whether you're looking to chill or compete. We went on a day they happened to be filming, so I expected it to be pretty crowded. Surprisingly, we arrived right when they opened and it was still pretty empty. We headed to the rooftop to grab a drink and some food, but the service was very slow considering how few people were there. That said, the drinks were decent, and the mac and cheese was absolutely delicious--super creamy and flavorful. By the time we finished eating and got down to the games, the place had really filled up. Axe throwing was the only activity we were able to squeeze in, but it was a blast. Hoping to go back soon to try out pickleball and bowling when it's not quite as busy. We initially did the duck pin bowling but came back two weeks later for the karaoke room. It's a lively atmosphere with lots to do. I always book online, which makes it easy to see what they have to offer and available times. I think the lively atmosphere could add to some of the chaos of getting the activities started though. When we did the duck pin bowling, no one approached our lane and I had to order at an outside bar. The table a lane over was also doing the same thing, but there appeared to be a server for the area, just not checking in. I organized an event for about 75 of my colleagues, and Smash Park was an excellent place for us! I worked with Stella to plan our event, and she was so communicative and helpful with every step! We had an area reserved for us that included duckpin bowling and axe throwing, with a bar for our group to access. We also got the Taco/Nacho bar for everyone and it was SO delicious! We had a number of gluten free people in our group, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that a majority of the food in that package are already gluten free. I have been here twice! Both times there have been fun events like a dog meet up and trivia. The events were well managed and fun! We played the duck pin bowling which we both loved, the arcade, cornhole, and the connect 4. I paid $10 for an hour for the 2 of us to bowl, we were able to bowl about 5 games in that time and probably could have done more but we moved on to the arcade. We were in town visiting and looking for something fun to do with our family. We opted to grab food and drinks first before playing games. We were a party of 11 and everyone loved their food. Saturday day before Mothers Day saw events that was going on in Omaha "Visit Omaha". My Daughter and I thought it would be a great day to spend at Smash Park knowing they were going to have Free Bingo & Brunch from 9-2. No Registration required. First timers there too! So we went there around 10 saw a long line in front. Not knowing what the line was for. We asked 2 different people what that line was for and they had no idea too! We also saw people just walking into the building bypassing the line. I took it upon myself to walk into the main building, looking to find someone who could help us in what to do cause the lady at the front desk was super busy. As I went inside, I saw a table but at the same time looking someone for guidance. Next thing and I saw, was a lady talking to my daughter, not knowing the demeanor that she had towards my daughter til afterwards. The Blonde lady got into my daughter's face and rudely told her that she had to wait in the line up front. My daughter then told her that she needed to back off cause we were new here in a rudely manner towards her back. Lady backed down and explained. There were no sign that said "Wait Here". Then was watching and noticed people already had Reservations for the place. No where in Visit Omaha said Reservations. Just Said No Registration. Then come to find out it was going to be 1 to 1 1/2 hr wait! We left We were pretty stoked into playing Bingo and having fun there. But that Blonde Lady up front needs to better know how to better customer service towards any customers or maybe that job isn't fitting for her being up front. read more
