Champagne Lanes has a swanky, hip look and an undeniably fun vibe, but the front-of-house operations completely missed the mark during our visit. We went on a Friday evening during peak hours, and the staffing allocation made no sense. There was only a single bartender handling the entire floor. She was working her tail off, but leaving one person to run the bar on a busy weekend night is madness and led to long waits just to order a drink. Meanwhile, there were three separate staff members stationed at the duckpin bowling check-in desk. The real frustration came during our bowling session. We ran into a technical issue with the lane that took about 12 minutes to resolve. Lane rentals are strictly capped at one hour, and because of that lost time, we weren't able to finish our game. There was zero sense of urgency from the staff to get it fixed or make up for the lost time - in fact, it felt like we were an inconvenience just for asking for help. When you're paying premium prices to drink, eat, and bowl, customer service and functional logistics should match the aesthetic. Sunday Funday at CPL is definitely where it's at! We came in Sunday evening for $5 bowling. We made reservations online to ensure we had a lane and we had a blast. Now, I was bowling with 2 "thinks they're going pro" bowlers, and a normal person. I loved the little balls, and the 3 tries per turn. It is really hard to actually get a lot of pins, but that's not what you're there for. It's the vibe, it's the experience, it's the disco balls. We tried a variety of the all day happy hour specials. I liked the food, great quesadillas, and ceviche. The drinks were small, and too sugary, so I would swap out for a beer next time. This was my first time coming to this bowling alley, and I really appreciate that they rolled out the red carpet for our work event. We had a buffet style nacho bar and as a pescatarian, I really appreciated the veggie toppings and the additional beans and and cilantro to fill me up. Châm Pang Lanes is a dream! We hosted a large corporate Christmas party there last night and it was truly one of the best experiences! We started planning the party in July, and I've been working with Victoria to plan everything. She was so easy to work with- quick to respond, gave helpful suggestions, and at the event she was there to help with anything we needed! Since Châm Pang is connected to Flagship, we were able to get food from Blue Sushi and Blatt, along with the food that they offer in house. Everything was delicious! We were also able to book a DJ through them, which made life so much simpler on the planning end. The bartenders created two custom cocktails for us, and they were delicious! Everyone who worked at our event was helpful, kind and made the whole experience perfect. Myself and my boss, who planned the event, got so many compliments about how much people enjoyed the space, the food, the bowling, and the overall vibes. I cannot recommend it highly enough. This is a great date night spot offering can't beat deals on Sunday-Wednesday spots at only $5 per person per hour. My favorite part about duck pin bowling is not having to wear different shoes and I really like that Châm pang lanes has so many different lane designs to choose from. I went to this place for a birthday party in November and had mixed feelings about it, I would probably give it 3.5 stars. First off the interior is really cool, with neon lights and very posh furniture to sit on, the bowling was definitely fun also, it's essentially a smaller version of traditional bowling with a few differences. I was there with a large group on a Saturday, and I will say everyone seemed to have a good time, my biggest complaints are the expensive prices and that the place was too clubby. I can forgive the prices, hell everything is expensive right now, but having a DJ blast terrible music while I am trying to bowl and talk with friends wasn't my favorite. I will own the fact that I am in my mid 40's, so I might not be their intended clientele, but it took away from the experience IMO. The wait staff experience was top notch, we had a great server. The hostess on the other hand, could use some customer service skills. We arrived at 11:40 for a noon reservation and they don't open until noon, so I get that we couldn't come in to have service yet, but we couldn't even wait in the vestibule. The doors were all open but we were told "you're welcome to come back at noon when we open," which yes, I just told you we had a noon reservation so we're going to lol However, when it's cold in December and the doors are open, it'd be a nice gesture to say "you're welcome to wait inside the vestibule until we open." We walked around a little downtown and even waited one minute outside until exactly 12 pm before we walked back in. When we came in, there was already another party bowling and a party setting up in another area, so that made it a big minus in my book that we were asked to leave and not come back until noon but clearly others came in before then. I came here with my parents and fiancé to celebrate my birthday and it was a really great time! I absolutely love the colorful eclectic decor and the blue tiger wallpaper. There's tons of disco balls above the bar and many great places to take photos. My dad says it reminds him of Tokyo. On Sundays, it's all day happy hour and $5 bowling per person! It is duckpin bowling rather than traditional bowling, so there is definitely a learning curve for most. The balls are much smaller with no places to insert your fingers. I really like duckpin/mini bowling! All of October it is free bowling Monday-Wednesday which is super cool. It is all ages besides 7PM until close on Fridays and Saturdays. It was really easy to make a reservation online to make sure we would have a lane when we got there. We had a server who would check in on us every so often to see if we wanted drinks or food. We had ate before coming, so I didn't get a chance to try any of their sushi or chips and dips. I did get the Flower Child mocktail which was very refreshing. It was coconut and pineapple so it was very fruity (which I love). It came with a beautiful flower in it. They have lots of drink options and quite a bit of food options too. I love the blue tiger statue that you see as soon as you walk through the doors. Your server can help you check out when your lane reservation is on to pay for food and drinks.
