If any one is looking to remodel or build a swimming pool I highly recommend Ezra and blue sky pools! I had 5 estimates and out of the 5 companies Ezra was the only honest, knowledgable, and trustworthy guy. I'm in construction and didn't trust the other companies. I wanted to do the demo and prep work to save money and Ezra worked with me every step. They did the tiling and installation of a new pump and filter system which uses half the electricity compared to the old system. As you can see in my pic the pool and pump system came out perfect! I used Blue Sky Pools for about two years. And I have to say that some of the technicians they sent out were excellent. (Hello Dylan! Hello Tanner!) The problem is that Esra, the owner, can't seem to retain any of his workers. A lot of marginal people have traipsed around my property over the years. Finally Esra sent over a guy who spend less that five minutes at my house but claimed that he spend a half hour. (He must not have realized that I was home.) I called Esra to complain and he said that he would send over another technician later that week. No one showed that week or the next. I called and left a message but no reply. Don't use this guy. Unreliable. read more

We first used Blue Sky Pools for installation of a pool fence since we have two little ones running around. They did an outstanding job. They were very reliable, professional and courteous. Due to our great experience, we used them for installation of a variable speed pool pump. Again...an outstanding job. We then recently decided to convert to a salt water pool to minimize chemicals and improve the overall swimming experience. So we called on their services again. As expected they did a fantastic job on the installation and service was prompt. We have had family visiting and the salt water pool has been amazing. Overall we have been super pleased with this company. The owner is very responsive and very professional and courteous. All of the service providers that come out are very experienced and patient and take the time to answer all of our questions. We are continuing to use their services for routine pool maintenance. I highly recommend this company without reservation. read more

Not sure how this company ever got a 5 star rating. I noticed that all the reviews are a few years old, so maybe they use to be good. I had a very simple pump motor replacement. They seemed very professional on the phone, the Yelp reviews were good, and I thought I had made a good choice...Boy was I wrong First it took 4 appointments to even come out and look at the issue, they canceled 3 times, once an hour before they were scheduled to arrive. Then once Esra figured out is was the motor, it took another 3 appointments to come out. He then arrived 4 hours late, locked his keys in the car, spent an hour to install, and he still did not get the waterfall feature to work. He then told me that he had to go since he had some kind of Hula deal to attend and did not have anymore time to figure it out, this after showing up 4 hours late!!! He never came back or called to follow up, just sent me a bill for $700 dollars. Can't believe companies like this are still in business read more

After thinking about getting a safety pool fence for quite a long time, we finally started looking and pricing around. I looked up a few places online and came across Blue Sky Pools. I was happy with the fact that they give you free estimates which turned out to be the final price. After they did the estimate I priced around some more and Blue Sky was priced better. We went ahead and decided to go with them and placed the order. The material got here pretty fast and the installation was quick as well. After everything was done we are very happy with the outcome. We've got a 1 year old and a 2 month old so it gives a lot of peace of mind. I recommend these guys for sure If you're looking for extra safety when it comes to the kids and the tempting pools! read more

After paying $8K initial deposit to tile our pool, problems with Esra began and continued during and even after the work was done. There were so many times he would say he's coming, but was no show/no call. Tile subcontractor said pool should be filled within a week once tiling was done. Pool was filled late because: The tiles on the edges of the stairs extended over the steps - safety issue. There was a hole on one pool wall because the "eyeball" was missing. Called Esra twice about this, but no follow up as promised. I had to file/sand down the stair tiles myself and buy/put in an "eyeball" myself. On top of this, Esra's drain pump, pressure washer, scaffolding, etc. had not been picked up. I figured he had been paid in full by then and didn't need the stuff until he had another job. I waited to see what would happen. Six full weeks passed with no contact from Esra. I guess he considered my house to be "free storage". He finally called when he needed his stuff for another job. I told him that everything had to go that day - starting with the old "rubbish" tile that was removed prior to installing the new tile. Needless to say, everything got picked up that day. Also, when the contract was signed, he said that he would help with the request form to waive sewage fees on the water used to fill the pool. That never happened either. read more

Have been using Blue Sky Pools for the last several months and am totally satisfied. The water feels "softer" than when I used to try to care for it myself. They even email a record of weekly test results and added chemicals, so that besides the fact that the pool looks fantastic, we also get to see what went in the water. read more

We've waited six months before giving this review in order to re-evaluate our new pool and it's systems over time. So far everything is working as expected, in fact, much better than expected. Blue Sky Pools did an exceptional job in creating a magnificent backyard swimming pool. We personally thought this undertaking was going to be difficult to plan and be a challenging job. But Tip Gilbert, who has many years of experience in building pools, was extremely helpful in assisting us in designing a pool that would fit our needs. He also oversaw and did the majority of the work in building the pool from start to finish, and may I say, On Time. Ezra and his tiling crew finished the pool off with a fantastic tile job. On a sunny day the colors pop out in an incredible burst of a mixture of different shades of blue that make the water all the more inviting on a beautiful day in Hawaii. And last, but not least, we have to give a big Mahalo to Tasha who, through her untiring enthusiasm and incredible energy, kept us well informed and also kept the project moving on time by coordinating the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
