Great spa and salon that I've been going to for YEARS! It's located in a strip plaza in a busy area but they have succeeded in creating an oasis of calm relaxation with their decor, atmosphere and aromas and courteous professionalism. I have never been disappointed with a service. I get my hair done in the salon regularly, book maybe 2 to 3 facials a year and have splurged on a couple massages. Definitely the best spa in our area. I do agree that you have to book well in advance - especially if you have a favorite stylist or esthetician....but well worth the wait. I've been going to BlueSky for well over 10 years. Went this morning for a haircut with Heather...nothing but professional from the reception to the stylist. As soon as you walk in the door you feel relaxed. They only use Aveda products, which i've been using for about 20+ years and absolutely love. Definitely a great place. Just moved into town and was not sure where to go get a hair cut. They stylist was great, explaining the cut she was giving me while she was working on my hair. I went for a much needed massage and came out feeling like a brand new person. As soon as I walked in the door it was a whole new world. The staff and the ambiance were perfect. I didn't seem to have the issue with booking a service as other have had. Anytime I have visited them it has been short notice. I have and will continue to go back to them. I've been going to Blue Sky for many years and have NEVER had a bad experience! Jo-Ann gives the best facial I've ever had!!! The atmosphere in her room is soothing, relaxing and your comfort is her priority. She utilizes hot stones, hand warmers and warm towels for feet...I tell her it's a total body experience :) because no matter how stressed out I feel walking into the spa, 10 minutes or less into the facial I'm totally relaxed leaving my to-do list behind. Now you may think this is irrelevant but I will tell you my experience of Blue Sky. Now it's been a couple of years since I've been here. Last time I was here, I was 13/14 maybe 15. I currently am 19. I originally loved and adored this place. My stylist was the sweetest. Sadly she just up and left one year without a trace. So I got a new girl. She was also kind and very sweet. I got my nails done once there. The technician was also very sweet. All the girls were so lovely! And we didn't mind spending the extra money for the service at all. Now one time, my mum had made a payment. The payment went through, and appeared to have gone through. About two weeks later, we received a very RUDE letter saying we had not paid for an appointment when my mum had checked her account and the money she had used to pay for the appointments was gone. Meaning she had paid them. They basically stated that we had not paid them and well in a way basically said that we were practically banned from them. And we would always reschedule if we didn't have the money for our appointments. So even though it was years ago, I never forgot that. I remember reading the letter, it was rude and of poor taste of the owner. So clients beware, check your accounts. Lovely staff and wonderful products. But it's a shame. Just make sure you're willing to pay extra if you get a nasty letter. read more

booked a massage a month in advance. Finally the day came and I had paid for a sitter to watch my child after work. An hour before my appointment they called to cancel my massage because the masseuse went home early because they were sick. I get it.. but they did not have a backup or replacement for the appointments. I was so mad... not only did I not get my massage that day but I lost out of $45 dollars because i had to pay for a babysitter for the day..... for absolutely no reason! I will not return. My wife had given me a gift card to Blue Sky that I finally got around to using and was extremely happy that I did. I had been very stressed lately due to work and decided I was long overdue for a massage. I walked in to a beautiful, inviting area. There were 3 staff members at the desk and all were pleasant. While I completed my paperwork I was given lemon water. After a few minutes Karen came to bring me to a relaxing room. She made me very comfortable and the massage was wonderful. Teri gave me the most wonderful stress relieving massage I have ever had. The spa itself was warm and inviting and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Teri knew when to go deep tissue and when to go for calming. She knew when to converse and when to let me relax. Very in sync and in tune to my needs. I have been going to blue sky for years. Usually once a year or so when I get a gift card for a birthday or Christmas. I have had nothing but great experiences with the services I have received (massages and facials). But I have to say this past experience was the best. I went for an hour long massage and my masseuse was Terri. She was BEYOND incredible, best massage I've ever had. She really listened to what I wanted to work on and was exceptional. Best mani pedi of my life. Came with my mom for a pre wedding gel manicure and pedicure, and I cannot say enough about how accommodating and sweet Heather and Laura were to my mom and I. They took me from level 10 stressed to completely relaxed. The products are amazing, my manicure (French) is expert level, and our pedicures were behind relaxing.
