I got a head spa and pedicure package. It was the highlight of the winter. My hair has felt softer for the last two weeks. The headspa was one of the most relaxing experiences of my life. The products smell so lovely. There is a mix of cool and warm between the waters and the oils and the face mask. Complete sensory heaven. My friends gave me a gift card and i had been seeing videos about the head spa on instagram so i had to go try it! The salon is in a small plaza, with plenty of parking. They offer different services, from menis, pedis and the headspa. I chose the luxury option since it was a treat/bday gift. I didn't really pay attention to all the services listed under it so it was all a surprise to me. They led me to a chair, showed me how my scalp looked. Than i was led to a room for the headspa. Not only did i get great hair wash, massage and treatments, it also included massages of my neck, shoulders and arms. The full experience involved sound therapy too; i also got a mini facial with a mask. It was such a relaxing experience! I loved it all! After they showed me how my scalp looked so clean! My only complaint is that though they have products for curly hair, they didn't use much to style it. Before leaving i also got a hand wax mask and another neck massage! Like a few other Yelpers have mentioned I also became curious about Love Nails & Spa after seeing multiple recent social media advertisements. The salon it self looks small from the outside but is quite spacious inside. I found the spa to be very modern, well decorated and tidy. They have multiple manicure/pedicure stations, multiple curtained massage stations, a double chair vanity area, as well as private rooms for Chinese head spa treatments. The Royal Chinese Head Spa was a really interesting experience. The service lasts 1.3 hours and currently cost $128. At the beginning of the service they complete a scalp check with a skin analyzer (you re - complete this process at the end of the session to see the after effects) the session is a mix of sound bath, scalp massage/washing, and a mini facial/back massage. The staff were incredibly friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable on each step of the treatment. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone who enjoys ASMR, reflexology, and sound baths. read more

This is my second time here. The first time I went, I did the head spa and it was great! I didn't get the private room but was in the curtain area. It felt amazing on my scalp. I got to see with their micro camera the condition of my scalp before abs after the treatment. There was a good difference. Overall, they shampoo and condition your hair, massage it thoroughly, some scalp scratching, a facial, mini should massage, and you might nap in between because it feels so good. At the end they also blow dry your hair. The service was good and the staff was really nice. I went back recently to do my toes and manicure. I did gel uv French for both and so far so good. I came here for my 3rd head spa and hate to leave this negative review, but I want to make sure that everyone knows what to really expect. I highly enjoyed my last two, but it's been about 2 years, so a lot has changed. They have grown to do multiple at a time and clearly care more about quantity vs quality. I first made an appt at 5pm for head spa and a pedicure for 430. I arrived a few mins before 430 picked a color and was told to take a seat. They had one girl waiting for a pedicure and a gentleman waiting for a manicure. After waiting 15 mins they put me soaking my feet in a pedi chair. The owner was very apologetic (as she always is because they are always running late appt or no appt). They then started on the girls' feet had the man move to a manicure table for him to just wait more but just in a different chair. I continued waiting with my feet now in cold water. I decided to leave at 5:20 after letting the owner know I could not wait any longer especially since my head spa appt for at 5 and its now 5:20 and not even having my pedicure started. She apologized saying she was short staffed I told her that I understand and I'll just make another appt. She gave me a voucher for a free pedicure. I thanked her and left. I scheduled another appt for Mon 10 am. Walked in was greeted by a man, I told him I had an appt at 10 but wanted to use my voucher for a free pedi. But since I didn't have an appt for that I asked if it would be better before or after. They didn't have anyone waiting and employees available. I told him I had a vocher for a free pedi from the owner. He told me that that was only good for 2 or more people having head spa treatment. I told him why I had it and asked if she was coming in or if he could call her. He said she wasn't and dismissed me and said come another time for the pedi. I told him I didn't want it another time and that I was already here a few days ago and had to leave because they were running extremely late. He then had me sit to have my head spa started. The girl asked me which one I wanted. I told her I had a $130 gift certificate, so I had the $128 treatment. The owner then came over and asked to see my voucher. He told me he was the owners' husband but didn't make an effort to let me us the free pedicure voucher. I then went to start my head spa. Since I've had them there before I know what to expect and this wasn't it. She spent most of the treatment scratching the heck out of my head so much it was hurting and i had to ask her to use the balls of her fingers. I had to tell her to also watch the back of my head the part I'm lying on. Anyway, they advertise a facial, its far from a facial they clean your face with cotton and put a dollar tree mask on your face and leave you there for 15 mins. Comes back takes it off cleans it and says I can get dressed. She took me to dry my hair which she didn't dry it much left it wet. Takes me to the nail drying station turns her timer on for 4 mins and gives me a "massage" As I'm sitting there, I'm ready the different packages and I see my package comes with a facial massage, back and shoulder massage. I asked her and she said I'm getting it now. I said what about facial massage. She said I received it, which I did not, and I called her on it. She ignored me, timer went off and I was done. Save yourself money and use the $130 on a 2hr full body massage at another place. I say $130 because the owner didn't even try to give me my 2 bucks. lol the only good thing I can say is they use good hair products, well at least the bottle is may not even be the actual product. read more

My first time at Love Nails & Spa II was for the Royal Chinese head spa with my friend. There is a current promotion for a free pedicure when you book a head spa on Monday-Thursday and for 2 people, the Royal Chinese head spa is $98 per person. If you want more discounts and free pedicures, bring a group. When we first arrived, we were directed to the waiting area that had velvet couches and were served tea. We chose the color for our pedicure (a wall of color options) and were guided to the pedicure massage chairs. The pedicure was really nice and a soothing process. This included a leg massage with a hot stone. Sitting at the nail drying station, the technician gave me a shoulder massage. Then, a technician named Angel asked me to come over to a chair to see my scalp. She used the scalp scanner and I saw product buildup. Next, she escorted me to a private room for my head spa. She showed me the wrap to put on and told me that she can help me lay in the bed since my newly painted toes might still be wet. First, Angel did sound therapy, then washed and scrubbed my hair, cleaned my face and massaged, and lastly put on a face mask. The time went by so quickly and I felt so at ease. I drifted to sleep for a bit. After the service, I put on my clothes and went back to the chair for hair drying. I saw another scan of my scalp and you can definitely see the difference. I couldn't stop looking at my hair. It was so shiny, light, soft, and smooth. Angel was very pleasant, friendly, and during the service she would ask if the pressure was good and if the tools she was using hurt to let her know. We decided to try the Chinese head spa after seeing all the promotions on social media. They did a scalp check before and after the treatment. The staff was friendly and polite. The spa experience was good, though I was expecting more scalp massage. It seemed like they mainly applied different products to my scalp. The entire treatment took about 1.5 to 2 hours. I sat and kept thinking about what could they possibly do for an hour & 1/2 to just my head? Well... I had Angel as my spa tech she was so sweet, gentle, and amazing. I'm requesting her definately again & again. They started off with a scalp analysis to know exactly what massage techniques and products to utilize during the spa treatment. Just the pressure point massage, hot head wrap, warm neck massage, foam wash and the stimulating head massager gadgets she used along with their essential oils and products. WOW! My head has never felt so invigorated. My crown chakra completely rejuvinated. I even opted for the jelly face mask add on that they do according to skin type. I cant rave about this experience enough. At the end they bring you back to review your scalp again to see how clarifying your head is after the massage treatment. Went here today for my birthday to get the Head Spa treatment. Left the salon with wet MATTED TANGLED hair, the lady was ripping my hair out as she was trying to detangle it for hours. Was supposed to get a hand treatment and pedicure, left with neither.. Ended up calling my cousin who is a hairdresser and had her detangle my hair the CORRECT way instead of pulling the knots apart with your hands. Do not recommend to anyone who has blonde, dyed, thick hair. This service is NOT for you. They were totally unapologetic and blamed my head full of knots on having "dry unhealthy" hair. I had never heard of getting a facial for your scalp a facial but in so glad I do now! Anna was fantastic. She put me at ease explaining everything she was going to do before she did it. After multiple scalp massages , dry and wet brushing, shampooing and rinsing my scalp felt tingly and clean. It was fantastic! Be prepared to always have an argument with them. I called for an appointment and specifically asked 10:30 or 11:00. they said 10:30. I waited 15 minutes and they took me at 10:45. I wanted to use my perk of their frequent customer card. I had 10 stamps which equals a 10 minute massage. They told me to come another time and use. I said no I wanted it today. But I needed a full set so I walked in and the guy (her husband) don't know his name bc he never told me and doesn't even say 2 words to you until it comes to saying a price. Greets me at the door...I say "how long for a full set?" He says..."what shape do you want?" I tell him coffin and I like them long. He says before he even seats me "that's going to be 75-80 dollars." I said no problem. (Really wasn't happy that he upped the price on me when no where in their signage did it sat a full set was "75-80" dollars or that they charge extra for shape, I really don't care getting my nails done is the one thing I do for me and I'm okay with spending my money when they look right." Pictures are down below on what I paid 75 dollars for and I will NEVER go back again after today. Taking advantage of people is wrong on so many levels. Never again. And I never leave after getting a full set or a fill without tipping minimum 20.00. And I take the extra stop at an ATM to be sure I ONLY tip in cash. The salon was beautiful very clean and elegant. They offer a wide variety of services including facials and massages. Every room had a great decor and was very clean I would have to say it is probably the best looking cleanest salon I've ever been to. My tech was very friendly and knowledgeable and it was clear she took pride in her work and it wasn't just about rushing through the day to collect a paycheck for her. She wanted to make people feel beautiful and good about themselves before they walked out the door. I was very happy with the results of my eye brow lamination they are having a special on right now. I recommend you try it before it expires especially if your looking to enhance the fullness of your eye brows and aren't ready to commit to a more permanent solution. The downside was they were unfair and inconsiderate of my time. The client before me didn't show up until 20 mins into my appt time and rather than taking the client that was there they had me sit there waiting for to arrive and took her in the moment she walked through the doors. Since the service has times where solution sits for chunks of time she would have been able to still fit the other person in although she might have had to wait a few mins if she showed up while she was actively applying something to my face. I don't know why they thought it was the right thing to do to not start me when I was on time so they could provide super prompt service to someone who respected their time so little they showed up an hour late. If anyone should have been made to wait it should have been her and she should have been understanding that you can't show up after your appt is over and the next client service begins and get taken straight away. The worst part is that no one explained what was going on so I'm there 20 mins then see this woman rush in get taken right to the back by the tech who I've already been waiting on 20 mins I hoping maybe she asked for a brow wax and they took her in bc in was fast even though after twenty mins that would have been borderline rude but no they took her in for a 40 min service after I'd been waiting 20 mins! At 145 I've gotten feed up at this point I realize this isn't a wax client and for all I know she's started an hour and half lash extension service and clearly thinks I have nothing else to do with my time I can just wait all day. I start to pack up my stuff and I guess another staff closer to me must have told her I was gathering my stuff bc she comes running out of nowhere saying her client was late and it will just be a few more minutes. Now an easy fix to being this behind would be to tell the customer when they arrive or call them beforehand and tell them what is going on. Respect their time enough to allow them to use that hour to run errands clean the house do some work etc. It's not really even an inconvenience if I get to do my shopping or whatever In that hour but if I'm literally just staring at the wall in the salon for an hour that's an hour wasted nothing productive got done. Time is money whether it's their time or mine. Just because I'm going to the salon doesn't mean I don't work and don't have anything else to do. I loved Love Nails but not anymore! Irate is an understatement as to how I am feeling towards this nail salon. I have been coming here since they opened July 2016 and I had been very happy with the quality of services however the business practice is clearly lacking as are their math skills. Durning my nail service with John, another technician started saying something about my previous visit regarding my gel pedicure. I thought they said they forgot a step and I simply said no problem. To my surprise when cashing out for today's services I was charged an additional $20 as they "forgot" to charge me on my last visit. I was in a rush as I had another appointment so I didn't push the issue and very quickly my credit card was charged for said "forgotten" charge. Both owners were at the salon but neither cared to come and explain. How can you fault the customer for an employees mistake? Poor business practice and shame on the owner for expecting the customer to rectify the error weeks later. There is a rewards program at this salon which I belong to making my contact information easily accessible. If this was such a big deal one would think they would have reached out.. nope! Let me do some simple math for you I come in every two and a half weeks and spend about $85 each time, that's about $1100 over the course of the 8 months I've been coming which does not include tips I have left for your staff. You just lost a good paying customer over a $20 mistake which equates to a little less than 2% that I've spent at your business in services.... Don't let the owner sucker you into "trying" a facial for 20% off. It's a total rip off and very unprofessional. She runs in and out of the room 20 times because she doesn't have all the products available and takes double to the time advertised (and no not in a good way). Most people go to salons to get pampered and relax not experience high pressure sales on other available services. read more

Wondered why there were few customers.. they were rude and abrupt as soon as I came in. I asked if she could do a design because I like a little bling on my nails and she abruptly stated, "No, I don't do designs". I politely sat in the chair and someone who could have possibly been the owner stated that they could do the design I wanted. I showed them what I wanted which was real simple and the one who stated that she could not do it ultimately did it. I called her out and even complemented her work. She blushed stating, "I didn't know what you meant. I thought you wanted a flower or something". I gently reminded her that she should ask customers what they want instead of just shutting them down. I like that they give you time in it, no rush. Also water basin is lined w/plastic so I am reassured I'm not touching anyone's nasty feet bits. Lots of different types of spa pedis to choose from (same as Love Nails) The end result? My feet are REALLY soft... Like super soft. Hands too. Me likes. For so many nail salons to choose from, why go anywhere else if you get a little more than standard for the same price? I like it when competition raises the bar. I noted the cleanliness of the place... & approve. One suggestion: clear plastic gloves for when staff gives shoulder/back massage. The lady wrapped her hands in a plastic bag which was clean & sanitary but it would have been more comfortable & easier for her to massage if she just had plastic gloves. Minor suggestion. When I first walked in there wasn't much going on. The nail tech did a great job and took his time shaping my nails. After completing my set he put some cuticle oil on the beds of my nails then I received paraffin wax for my hands with a warm towel. Once that was complete the nail tech gave me a upper back massage which was followed by a hand and arm massage. I will absolutely be a returning customer. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! I can honestly say I've had the worst customer service experience at this nail salon. I went for a pedi and gel mani. Went back a day later because the gel nail polish was lifted and cracked on my finger nails. At first the employee had me pick another color which I was fine with because obviously the nail polish on my fingers nails is bad. As she sat me down another employee came along and said they needed to call the manager to ask if they are allowed to fix my nails. I sat there confused and explained to them that I was just there yesterday and that it hasn't even been 24 hours that I've had the polish on. She then explained to me that the manager advised her that she can only fix the nails that were ruined and it had to be with the same color. I told them that I found that ridiculous and that it would be 7 nails they had to fix so it has to be the polish. She then called the manager again and had me speak with her and the manager insisted for me to take pictures of all the nails that were ruined and to send them to her because this was going to take over an hour for her worker to fix...WAIT WHAT!!!!! I got upset and advised her that her customer service was awful..I was so upset I hung up (not my best moment)...but come on!!! The polish was cracked on 4 nails and lifting on 3 nails. She then decided to call back and say she was on her way to come look at my nails. So not only did I sit around and wait to get my nails fixed I now had to sit for over 20 minutes to wait for the manager to come look at my nails...unprofessional manager is an understatement. When she came in she looked at my nails and proceeded to tell me that my nails alone were the issue and that's why the polish cracked because my finger nails cracked underneath. I explained to her that is not the case because 4 of them were cracked and it can't be that 4 of my own nails cracked in under 24 hours of her establishment doing my nails. She decided to remove the polish on not 1 but 2 of my nails to realize that IT WASN'T MY NAIL!!! SHOCKER!!! I also showed her where the polish was lifting and as I showed her it chipped off and she told me it was MY FAULT cause I was picking it. UMMM WHAT!!! Yea nooooo it chipped off as I was showing her that the polish close to the nail bed was lifted. It's called bad polish. She still didn't want to change the polish and suggested that she will fix the nails that were cracked (which was only 4 out of the 7) I told her WHAT FOR??? if I'll have to come back in to get the others fixed if they also crack because of fear that water will get underneath. I continued explaining to her that I was in fear of water getting underneath and creating FUNGUS!! She didn't care! I told her to take all the color off and not put the gel polish back on because I was not going to risk getting fungus from the lifting and cracks since she insisted on using the same polish color. Instead she got loud and told me that if I'm not gonna get the gel polish put back on she will just give me my money back. I was so upset that I told her she was a HORRIBLE MANAGER and that her customer service skills SUCK!! Needless to say I walked out of there with the polish on 8 fingers cause she never continued taking the others off. I will never go back to this place. I honestly feel bad for the Owner. She needs to school her manager on how to treat a paying customer. My total was $58 and I left a $12 tip...$70 to an establishment that didn't deserve it and she only gave me $30 back for the gel mani alone. Find yourself another nail salon...that actually appreciates their customers and doesn't argue with you over BAD NAIL POLISH. I can see why this place has bad reviews. Went here the other day looking for a pedicure, have been here in the past with no problems was a favorite spot of mine, but after the experience I had I will not be returning...I'm use to waiting for awhile for a technician to start but I waited over 45 minutes, the water was beyond cold by the time the technician came over. Love this place!! I drive from Pawtucket bi-weekly for UV gel fills. The pedicures are great and they include massage and paraffin wax with most services. Their menu is always expanding, they are great with facials, eyelash extensions, and eyebrow wax/tinting. Love what Donna has done growing this business! read more
