They got me in last minute which I appreciated, but my stylist was shaking the whole time I was there and did not have a steady hand, and my haircut is visibly uneven and incredibly lopsided. The salon also didn't seem very clean and the stylist lacked experience. read more

Such a warm welcome just walking in the door by the 3 staff members I encountered. I had an 11:00 appointment for a cut & color, and my stylist Danielle was prompt in taking me in. She took the time for a consultation to ensure that we were on the same page with my expectations. She was very pleasant, clearly loves her job and made me feel like a VIP. It's great to encounter people who love what they do, it makes for a very pleasant experience. Even though the place is small, the staff personalities are large . I was in Sturbridge for a family wedding and booked three blowout appointments for myself and my daughters. We couldn't have been more satisfied with the work that Michelle did! My older daughter has very long hair and was so happy with her wavy style. My younger daughter has hair that never holds a curl. She explained that to Michelle and her hair held its style for two days! As for myself, I was completely thrilled with my look as I left the salon that day. I was very impressed with the level of service at Allure today. First off, I called 2 hours before to see if they could squeeze me in for a blowout. They could!! I showed up a few minutes early and they took me right in. Jae was my stylist and she was fantastic. She has such a great attitude and I enjoyed our conversation. Sue, the owner, was lovely as well. Excellent salon!! Love my hair! As a first time client, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised at the peaceful atmosphere and my new hairdo!! I tried to use a Yelp voucher which was unsuccessful and certainly not the salon's fault but it was handled right.Briyonna, my hairstylist kindly honored the Yelp deal so there was no worry. I think the best thing about my experience was my hairstylist, Briyonna!! She was so kind and easy to talk to. Briyonna made sure that we were on the same page about my haircut as I wanted something a little different but not terribly drastic. I was very comfortable knowing that my hair was in Briyonna's expertise hands!! I have kind of challenging hair as it is thick, there's lots of it, and it has a natural wave. To make matters even more challenging my hair " poofs out" when it is humid outside. Briyonna put in a conditioning rinse after the shampoo that calmed my wild mane and proceeded to do such a great job I am definitely coming back!! Nice to know that a such a quality salon is right here in Warwick so I don't have to drive all the way to Providence. And the big topper is that this salon has been in business for over 12 years so that is definitely good to hear as good things tend to go away in RI and there are few businesses with such longevity. A quick "Google" search for hair salons in my area brought me - happily - to Allure. My first appointment was a few weeks ago, and what a warm welcome upon walking through the front door. You are met with cheery "good morning!"s and made to feel immediately at home. My hair stylist, Danielle, was quick to speak with me about what I was looking to do and how she was going to accomplish it. Her knowledge, talent, joy for her job, and healthy dose of humor and sarcasm let me know I was in for a great experience! I knew pretty immediately I had found the right place. My resulting cut and color far exceeded my expectations, as did my experience with this salon. I booked a second appointment - which was yesterday - and again, the results are astounding. Danielle is a great talent with both cut and color. She does nails, too! I personally haven't gotten a manicure yet, but I have seen some of her "handy" work which is spot on.
