Alisha did an amazing job cutting and styling my hair. I absolutely love it. It was precisely the cut I wanted. She really listens to what you want and works with you to get the haircut and/or color/foils exactly the way you want it. She was able to get me in within a week, which was great. I have gone to Alisha for many, many years to get my hair done - she is absolutely magical. Despite the length of time I have been with her, she remains professional, timely, flexible, and incredible at her craft. She really cares about her clients and the health of their hair - if what you want can damage your hair, she goes over it with you. She is unlike others, who do whatever for money. Her costs are totally fair, and if she doesn't vibe with someone she won't book them. The products she uses are always top notch, and she is consistently finding new products to share that add hair health attributes while in her chair, and at home. She takes absolute pride in being the new owner of Blue Sparrow Salon! She is very diligent in ensuring it remains a drama-free, safe, relaxing space. Also, the salon location is great with plenty of parking. Overall, I'd give it a 10 out of 5 if I could! P.S. Kendra was so friendly and did a great job on my daughter's hair, (almost 13 y/o). She is very professional and took the time to get to know her hair a little as this was our first time with her. My daughter enjoyed chatting with her as well, during the cut. I sat and read/ rested as I had worked all day before the appointment. I could have used a comfier couch but the vibe is great and the salon is lovely. read more

I have been thrashing around trying various salons during the pandemic. Frequent ZOOM meetings forced me to confront my hideous grown out pandemic bob. Blue Sparrow was right across from my nail salon so I decided to give it a try. Heather really took the time to listen and explain options that would work for my wiry gray hair that is too straight to be curly, and too wavy to be straight. I can honestly say that for the first time in years, I feel comfortable with my hair. My new style fits my lifestyle and personality. Heather is also really personable and hilarious to talk to! I can't comment on color or other chemical services, as I don't use them, but Heather did explain the Brazilian blowout to me, and who knows, I might give it a try one of these days. read more

Ok ladies, if you are looking for a new hairstylist that is not only sweet, professional and a very talented hair stylist. Then you gotta go see Andrea Walker. She is such an amazing colorist. I've recieved some of the best treatment and services from her over this past year. I have very course, thick, multi textured hair and Andrea, was able to tame my wild mane. With a beautiful color, cut and silky soft hair to boot. I found Andrea, Last year she saved my hair after another gal butchered it. I've been going to her ever since and I'm so glad I found her. She can do it all, she really listens to your needs and cares about her clients. She is accomadating, professional, sweet, nice and just a good hearted person.
