I've been seeing Kieu for just over a year now. After years of damage from bleaching my curly hair, Kieu was able to cut my hair to an even length and helped deposit pigment back into it. My sister, her husband, her kids, myself, my husband and my kids are all Kieus clients because she does great work! I made an appointment with Kieu. I made it clear I want a permanent straight, shiny and bouncy hair. She said ok it will stay that way for at least six months. I trusted she will do what she said. It was good for 3 days. When I washed it on third day, my hair was dry, most are curled in and some curled out. ( Not straight, not shiny, not bouncy ) She charged me $250.00 and I gave her $25.00 tip, trusting her work was going to make me happy. I was so very wrong! I messaged her but she made excuses. I waited if she would at least try to offer to fix it but nothing from her. I'm very disappointed and depressed! She did not deliver the service I paid for. I think I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN! She seemed like a good person . I thought we connected but I was very wrong. I took pictures of my hair after 3 days and sent it to her. She didn't have anything to say. She dexterously blended my growing out bangs with the rest of my hair in a cute and carefree cut that was also precise and speedy. Tina listened to my requests and concerns prior to starting. They are all very nice and helpful there, asking if I would like something to drink or if I was doing okay while my hair was processing. Tina colored and cut my hair. The color which I was very scared about to begin with turned out very nice. The hair cut was too short, much shorter than I expected but it will grow out again. So I came in for a balayage. I showed her pictures and she asked that I wanted one to which I replied yes. I knew it was only gonna be able to get to a honey blonde, and not as light as in the pictures. Because of previous dye jobs and the fact my hair is so dark. The lady who washed the hair was very rough after it was bleached, and even still after I told her it was hurting. When they dried my hair, they did not use any heat protectant.
