If you're looking for the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring Niagara Falls, The Secret Garden Restaurant is a must-visit. Situated right at the end of Rainbow Bridge on the Canadian side, this restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, allowing you to enjoy your meal with a stunning view of the falls. I have ordered the Western sandwich- eggs, Black Forest ham, peppers and onions in a croissant. We waited quite some time for the food to arrive but our server was nice to let us know the orders were backed up. By the time the food has arrived, it was 30 mins after we placed the order. The sandwich was definitely not what I have imagined. Rather than scrambled eggs, slices of ham, peppers and inions, it turned out to be an omelet inside a croissant! I didn't oppose to it and thought it was quite smart of them to assembled the sandwich this way, but it would have been nice to put on the menu. The omelet was quite bland, and I had to add my own salt & pepper to elevate the flavours.

After the Niagara Falls cruise and walking around a bit, we were very hungry. It was after 1 pm and we had not eaten all day. Secret Garden was recommended by our tour guide. Although it was touristy w/ a gift store attached, it was less so vs Hard Rock Cafe (didn't know they were still open), or Rainforest Cafe that are both in the main tourist area. I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich and upgraded my side to poutine. I also had a local beer. First of all, the sandwich was ok. The turkey didn't have a smokey flavor, and I thought the price was high. On the other hand, the poutine was awesome despite using grated cheese vs cheese curds. The fries remained crispy despite being covered in gravy. Lastly, the beer was a great way to wash it all down. Regarding the ambiance, this place is big w/ indoor & outdoor seating. We chose outdoor bc we needed to dry off a bit after the cruise. There are nice tables outside w/ umbrellas. Likewise, the service was friendly, albeit slow. Our waitress was nice, and attended to us well once she got to us. However, it took a while to get seated, get menus and get our food. Nonetheless, we weren't in a hurry bc we wanted to relax a bit after being on the go since 8 am. Secret Garden is a good place to grab a bite and relax during your time at Niagara Falls. The food is hearty, and the service is friendly.

This spot is perfect after a day of checking out the falls. Located at the end of Rainbow Bridge (on the Canadian side) there is plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the falls. The kids had the "kids burger and fries" and I had a 20oz beer and the big salad. Huge portions, great atmosphere and friendly service. Everything we ate tasted fresh and delicious and was reasonably priced! Also had spectacular Canadian maple walnut ice cream scoops from the gift shop located next to the restaurant! Highly recommend!!

First time visiting Canada and chose Secret Gardens for my first breakfast experience! Very beautiful scenery especially if you choose to eat outside. Very open and clear sight of the falls! The gardens itself is well kept and picturesque as well. The food is average diner-like food. I ordered the Canadian bacon and the flaky croissant. The croissant was larger than I expected! Very buttery and flaky for sure. The Canadian bacon was delicious! My dish came with a side of fruit as well. I ordered the Hang Ten smoothie as well (not pictured) but it was a little too sweet to my liking. I had to water it down a bit. We came with a group of 6 and waited only about 10-15 minutes so that was nice. It's within walking distance of the hotels, casino, and falls. Super great location. Prices are pretty average as well. I'd recommend if you're looking for some quick breakfast with nice scenery!

The food was reasonably priced and ok. the breaded chicken burger was a frozen chicken patty on a bun. The chicken tenders looked very frozen as well.. The decor gives off an 80s vibe. The location was really nice and the staff was very friendly.

    This was good.

The place is clean. The server was nice but never came by to check on us or refilled our water. The prices is definitely outrageous. My hamburger was over cooked & the fries was meh. Why did I get a slice watermelon with my food? The watermelon was good. My mom got a fish & chip. She say it was good. My hubby got a chicken sandwich. the food was meh! He ate it all cause he didn't want to waste food is so outrageous.

Had breakfast at this secret gem. The service was very good, the staff is very courteous and welcoming. Coffee was topped off often and condiments were promptly brought to the table. The food was VERY good. The view of the fall is very nice. Give it a try, I will definitely visit this spot again.

Literally down the steps from our hotel, this made for an easy dinner spot on night. There was a large party in the dining room which made for a loud environment, but we had to laugh- actually laughed- when the dining room fell silent. I resisted the urge to look to see what had quieted the group, but I can only assume prayer- maybe? It resumed at a lower roar after. Service was fast and friendly. Food was average. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and with grilled chicken and a side salad. The salad was great, chicken moist but the alfredo was just bland and lacking. John got the chicken parmesan which had a side of veggies and he finished his food. He said it was fine, nothing special- just fine. The staff in the adjacent store really made this a 4 star review, they were very friendly and made us laugh. Great staff.

Average... yet not. The staff were incredible and attentive. The menu is basic but they dont need anything fancy. By the time I was leaving brunch, the restaurant was already filling up for lunch. My scrambled eggs, potatoes and toast was good. In comparison to what other place are charging around the area I found this to be reasonable for a tourist area. I had a very relaxing brunch over looking the falls followed by walking through the gift shop and the garden. I personally didnt understand the mannequins around the place & inside the restaurant but it was different.

Across from the restaurant is a great viewing spot for Niagara Falls. Because the establishment is elevated, you don't even really need to cross the street. The secret garden also has a cute little gift shop to kill some time while waiting for ordered food. We were asked to show proof of vaccination and sat with a great distance from other tables. I really appreciated that. Had the quiche Lorraine served with veggies and fruit. Hubby's Omelette with ham in a croissant was served with soup and fruit. Both were ok and a tad on the bland side (is that a Canadian thing? Foods always under seasoned? Our experience at the Skylon Tower, also on the Canadian side, was similar)

We ate here several times during our week at Niagara Falls. Breakfast twice and dinner once--all on the patio. Food was tasty, service was outstanding and you can't beat the view. Nice that it's a little away from the crowds near the Falls.

The sauce was sweet: would have benefitted with more acidity and salt. Use salt. 3/5 Pork belly - Tough and overcooked by about a long weekend. Flavour ok. 2/5 Beet Salad - Best appetizer, but it's just beet salad. 4/5 Ribeye - over cooked. Does not taste dry-aged or like "prime" grade beef. I would consider this close to SCAM territory. 1/5 Lobster Tail - Rubbery, but well seasoned. Edible. 2.5/5 Scallops - 3 x Tiny abductor muscles that did not warrant the $22 price tag. Rubber. Not edible. The waiter would not admit it was cooked from frozen 0/5 Mashed Potato - great. 4/5 The service was attentive and friendly. 4/5 Restaurant looks simple, but has a great view. Smells like a hotel restaurant. The kitchen doesn't know how make the sub-par ingredients into food. This is not a good restaurant.

Firstly, parking: It's all free, but the lot adjacent to the restaurant has 20 spaces for a business that seats 200 people. Arriving cars are to wait at the curb outside for the white shuttle to arrive, then follow this to a free parking place two blocks away. Reverse the process to leave. It's difficult to enter and exit a high van in a tight skirt and high heels. Just saying. We arrived just in time to see the 8pm floor show, but the music was so loud I was praying for it to end. To order from the menu for AYCE side dishes, you have to have a phone that can scan the QR code: No printed menu was forthcoming, and the print on my cell phone was too small for my husband to read. The music was so loud it made conversation impossible, so I made the choices. The kitchen had already run out of mashed potatoes, and green chimichurri sauce by 8pm, and they seat until 11pm on Saturdays. I was not impressed. There's a chaotic way the servers with the meats circulated. Some tables were served steak three times while we were never served. It's a $90 per person meal where drinks and desserts are extra, our table wobbled horribly, and we couldn't speak to each other. It was the opposite of hospitality. How loud was the music? I'm writing this the next morning and my ears are still ringing. There are many other steakhouses on this side of town: Brasa, Ruth Chris, STK. Next time, I'll try one of them.

I ordered a black and tan. She suggested I go for the smooth black and tan which I did. It did not disappoint! I may have to have my black and tans like this for the rest of my life. I ordered a cup of the buffalo wing chowder, and she said it's one of the most popular items on the menu. I asked her to bring that out first before my Classic Caesar salad. Let me tell you something about that soup. Now I'm not a big soup guy, but I do like chowders, and this was the absolute best I've ever had. Had. I've had clam chowder all over the United States but man this one absolutely nails it! It has that buffalo wing flavor which just perfect and not overpowering.
