Sushi lovers paradise! The vibe and the variety of eats from fresh sushi to drinks and cooked kitchen items give this spot an edge on other sushi joints.

We have been here atleast 20+ times in the last few years... ALWAYS a great experience. This time we had Rees. Don't remember him from previous visit but apparently he's worked here since like 2018. He did great, easy to talk to, great at engaging, and cool to talk to. Food was awesome as always, mom said the Rocking shrimp wasn't as spicy as normal!

I dined in here on a Thursday night with one of my besties who was leaving town the next morning. It was the first time for us both and we wanted something filling, but not heavy. Blue Wasabi Sushi & Martini fit the bill. Max was our server and he was awesome! He was very friendly, answered our questions and checked on us often. The drinks were pretty good, and the sashimi was, too. I normally choose AYCE places for sashimi, but the cuts of fish here were not bad. I can eat a good amount of sashimi, and my favorite is salmon, of course! I can't remember what my friend ordered but I got the Wango Mango and it was tasty! It may have been a tad strong alcohol-wise, but hey, I'm not complaining! The Pork Belly Bao Buns were really good! I liked the fluffy light bun and the flavor of the pork really came through. We didn't have room for dessert, but we'll probably come back another day or night to try more of what they have to offer. Overall, the service was fantastic, the food hit the spot, and the ambiance was swanky (although we chose to sit out in the patio). We did agree the prices are a bit overpriced, but no biggie. Lots of parking is available all around the establishment. Stay tuned for a return visit!

I visit here often with my friends and they really have the best happy hour!! The drinks are so cheap and a glass of good wine is just under seven dollars. For vegetarians and vegans, they have a lot of great options!!! There are quite a few sushi rolls on the happy hour menu that are great also. The service has been really great. Every time I have visited. Tonight I had the avocado roll and Badda Bing roll with red pepper, asparagus, and cream cheese with a little balsamic on top. Happy hour special.

I've come to this location off and on over the last 10 years or more. The sushi is okay but a little overpriced for the quality. The star here are the big selection of martinis.

Positive experience! If you're looking for sushi rolls, a beverage, some average potstickers in a nice area you can't beat this in Gilbert. I'd say prices were reasonable and the staff was eager to keep my cup full.

Now we know why it's called Blue Wasabi, their wasabi is blue, ha! We went shortly after 4pm during their HH (4-8pm) which unfortunately everything we ordered wasn't HH option on menu but we were satisfied as we went to try the sushi. Great friendly service, they were very busy at time we arrived, assuming it was HH as it died down a bit an hour later. My husband loves that most of their rolls are Soy wrap as he doesn't like seaweed. We enjoyed Tail-Er Swift and Summer Lovin. Will have to try Marilyn Monroll and Chuck Norris next! I wish they had rice under their Krab and Shrimp Dynamite as it's just crab and shrimp with sauce, good but definitely needs rice to enjoy it with. We enjoyed their drinks as we enjoyed our time kids free. Place is clean and surprisingly spacious for the amount of tables they have inside as well as outdoor dining.

We have been going to Blue Wasabi for years! It was our son's favorite place growing up, and since we hadn't been there in years and we were in the area, we decided to stop in for their HH. We started out with a spicy edamame and noticed that the spicy sauce has changed since the last time we were there. This one tasted mostly like it was tossed in just Sriracha, which wasn't our favorite. We liked the older sauce better. We each ordered sushi, and my hubby also ordered the beef and broccoli as well as the Genghis beef. Everything tasted just like we remember (minus the edamame). Their HH prices are pretty decent for a sushi joint and they also offer some pretty amazing martini specials. The only other thing to mention is their hours are a little different. They open at 4 p.m. during the week and on Sat and Sunday they open at noon. Definitely stop in and give them a try!

Blue wasabi is a nice sushi restaurant for the family. It has the ambiance of a sports bar with great sushi. I have had the pleasure to attend this restaurant multiple times. While the staff is upbeat and receptive wait times tend to linger in terms of ordering food. This could be due to understaffing or an unexpected rush. I would recommend this restaurant for families but would hesitate to recommend it for date night. They do not take reservations, tables are too close together, wait times tend to be long and the noise makes it less than ideal for a romantic ambiance.

Waited for thirty minutes for food that said it would be out in ten minutes. Should it really take thirty minutes to put raw fish in rice? Or does it take thirty minutes for the take out person to remember youre waiting for your food? Regardless, wouldn't recommend for takeout. You'll be disappointed.

This is a wonderful sushi bar that has happy hour every day of the week. The sushi here is not my favorite in the valley, but the deals on their drinks and the happy hour by far makes it a worthwhile experience. The lemon raspberry ice martini was an incredible cocktail to sip on the rock shrimp and the crab cheese. Wontons were a great entrée to get it started and we all enjoyed the sushi rolls. We had definitely recommend taking an Uber here. There are so many great cocktails on happy hour to try.

AMAZING sushi and the roll names are hilarious! Don't sleep on the Marilyn MonROLL The service was amazing. Everyone works as a team and food and drinks arrive fast and they all clear your table super fast. I was very impressed. My only half-complaint is that the orange chicken could have been warmer than it was but the flavor was delicious; not too sweet. The inside has a big bar and lots of tables, and the patio is quite packed, but totally comfortable. Happy hour M-F 4-6pm, and they have some great options! The crab rangoons were fabulous! And OMG the red pepper sauce that comes with the edamame?? I would come back.

I kicked off our 90-minute experience with the Blackberry Yuzu Margarita, and it was the perfect balance of crisp, sweet, and tart. I wrapped things up with the Macadamia Nut Piña Colada which, fittingly for being "aboard" a pirate ship, was delightfully rum-forward without being overly sweet. In between cocktails, we shared a couple of snacks that were such a welcome addition -- something you sadly don't always find at local speakeasies! The service was top-notch thanks to our bartender Rocco, whose knowledge and attention to detail made the experience even more fun. Between the creative cocktails, immersive vibe, and fantastic hospitality, Undertow is easily one of the coolest spots around!

Of course, this place is known for its cocktails, so naturally they should be great--but trust me, I've been to several cocktail-only establishments that were lackluster. Absolutely NOT the case here. You could literally put all the pages of the menu on a wall, throw a dart, and whatever you hit would be delicious and interesting in its own right. The place is a little small, but honestly, that's what I love about it. It feels cozy in all the right ways. It's also very relaxing, floating along the sea with some delightful surprises here and there. We ordered several drinks, but one that's not on the menu (and they do make it) is the Pearl Diver, which is magnificent here. The mixologists and servers are all amazing and should be proud of themselves for bringing such an experience to Gilbert.

She loves Alice in Wonderland. She was mistaken and thought it said Java not Kava. The bartender was very, very informative and he let us know that they will give you your first dose of Kava for free to try it. I could not choke all of it down. My friend was a trooper goddess, and she choked the whole thing. I was so impressed by her I am very sensitive to things. And they have different doses, strengths and different styles of, so this is just what I ordered. It was the last light, on the menu he suggested for us. So even though I did not enjoy the Kava, it is not my jam. So they have trivia karaoke all kinds of stuff throughout the week and I could see this being a really fun place. So if you like Kava, you should really come here. It is very fun. The salted honey whip + berry coulis helped balance out the denseness and tartness of the orange olive oil cake.
