Been coming here a few times and they usually do me right and it's those past times that get the 3 stars. It's always a bit of wait which is to be expected since it is hand wash. I paid $99 to get the tire wash and something extra with the interior can't remember exact details but it's my usual. Have had 2 dried flowers and a fake Lego one behind my steering wheel completely out of the way of the rest of my interior. All the times I've gone before they've left them alone and again not hard to do since it's pretty separate from rest of the car. Didn't even think much of it when it was finally over cause I figured common sense? Nope. One flower was completely destroyed, part of the toy was broken, the toy and other flower were just shoved into the side of my door. And I get it mistakes happen but what's worse is that there was a bunch crushed petals and stem covering the carpet under my passenger seat which is fucking annoying to clean up from carpet. Dude didn't even bother to vacuum it up or say anything. It's one thing to make a mistake but like just have the balls to say it or AT LEAST clean it up. I'm out $99 (+ tip) and will have to try to clean it up with my hands cause I don't have a vacuum at home and I'm not spending more money at a different car wash after just dropping $100 +, in this economy. I didn't have an issue with the price before because the results were worth it, but this experience put me off this place. Very disappointing , was usually a good spot but ig hit or miss on the day. read more

The first offer they said "we usually charge 200 but I'll give you a discount at 189.00" I said that was too much so he offered to drop the price to 169.00. Went for a car wash, left with a cracked windshield. What a horrendous experience. Upon finishing the car wash, we noticed a crack in our windshield nearly 30 inches long. Going into the car wash - no crack at all. Brought this to the attention of the car wash manager - identified as Anthony. He was rude, lacked any empathy, and simply pointed to a sign stating Encino Auto Spa not responsible for any damage. He even questioned why, when asked for a receipt. Didn't offer an apology, or any concerns over the significant damage and simply suggested a crack must have existed prior to entering the car wash. Even attempted to communicate with the owner of Encino Auto Spa - Masis Enterprises. Radio silence from them. Sent an email to their listed owner and got zero response. Be warned about this place. They took no responsibility, offered no compassion, or even cared to respond to outreach. Highly recommend going to any other car wash in the area. read more

Came by today because my car badly needed a car wash. I just got the express exterior hand car wash because I keep my car pretty clean inside. I had a coupon from the mail for $8.99 but it's typically $9.99. I noticed they have a sign saying Monday - Wednesday all day they have car washes for $19.99 (including cleaning inside). They have lots of covered seating out front and the cleaners will wave and call to you when the car is done. Since I did the express, my wait was pretty quick - I was probably out of there within 20 or so minutes. My car looks much cleaner! There were some patches that seemed like they were a little lazy at drying and there were some wet spots but overall pretty good. read more

Every time I come I'm met by frowning unhappy people trying to upsell me in a chaotic and messy place. Utterly unfriendly. Since they're so close I come by from time to time but today is the last. They lost one of my back license plate screws....a minor thing. They must have hundreds of them lying around but the manager directed me to some guy in the garage who simply wouldn't get off his chair. Finally backed my car all the way into the garage and he still wouldn't get off his chair to hand me a screw. What's wrong with these people? read more

I came here to get my car fully detailed the same day I was selling it. I arrived around 11 a.m. and paid for the full detail package -- inside, outside, engine, the works. They told me it would be ready by 3 p.m. Cost: $289 plus tip. When I came back at 3, the car had only been washed -- they admitted they "forgot" to do the detail. I had to come back again at 5. When I finally picked it up, yes, the exterior looked nice and the inside was clean -- but they still forgot the roof, which was covered in water spots. For the price and time commitment, this was really disappointing. The staff was polite but the organization and attention to detail weren't there. If you're on a tight schedule or need a truly complete detail, I'd recommend double-checking their work before you leave. read more

Just went there for a car wash. The guys that actually clean the cars after the wash are pretty good but the management is absolutely horrible. There is this one guy you walks all around yelling at the workers is a complete jerk. The wait time is almost an hour. I asked and paid for to have my tires dressed. They didn't do it because the guy who gave me a ticket didn't mark my windshield. Oh I forgot I use a coupon and the cashier didn't give it back to me when I paid. I'm glad to find a place that does a great hand wash. The service I got was a car detail without getting mats washed as that would have cost more. I thought they did a good job on my car and I could see that they took time to make sure they got everything. Paid for wax job , I notice the job was done under the sun . There white marks on the roof and wax reside in the trunk and hood . I notice some paint damage on the hood as well that was not there before . I'm really disappointed with the work . I'm looking at a paint job now . A little treat will turn in to a big expense. It was so ridiculous that after an hour and 15 minutes I went to the manager and complained. I have never complained or even got annoyed while waiting for my car but this time was unacceptable. A car wash should never take more then 40 minutes and I have never waited more then 30 until today. Be ready to wait here a long time. read more

It was my first time here and I came here because it was the closest one to me at the time. I got Package 2 because I wanted my tires clean. When my car was done I noticed that there speckles of debris on the driver's carpet and the backseat. I thought that this was so weird because I've never experienced this at a car wash. How fast were they vacuuming that they missed it? The cleaning of the car was pretty decent. The scent that they offer is okay for a day and half to two days. After that it's non-existent. read more

An absolute fiasco...zero business acumen, communication skills, social interaction...not sure how they can exist operating a business. Came in for oil change and car wash...dropped off, went to mass, came back and they broke my driver side seat moving it to vacuum in the back. Guy had no idea how to use the handle, the buttons to move seat back and forth. Had a small bag and clothes behind the seat on the floor, as I was travelling back to San Francisco in the morning. Claims I had it there to keep the seat propped because it was broken. Now my car packing skills are being questioned when the seat was just fine when I got there, now that I came back and had nothing to do with it, it is my fault. These items were located inside my closed center console--an area that does not need to be opened for a standard cleaning. You'll still need to inspect your car afterward to find spots they missed. For example, my trunk was still dirty (they just forgot it), and the frunk too - which I ended up cleaning myself. The interior plastic was poorly polished, especially noticeable on a brand-new car, but I'll handle that myself. When I come here in my Toyota for a basic wash, it gets the bare minimum & they push me through so quickly. The car usually looks just as dusty as it did when leave as it does when I arrive here. Today I arrived in a BMW & I was upsold & hustled into an $80 car wash that this car didn't need when he offered a "detail" - for which I told him twice that I didn't need or have time for. He asked me how much time I had him and I said 45 minutes he said he needed 55 minutes. I said I couldn't do it. He handed me a ticket for $80 anyway. I figured why not, I want the car to look nice for my friend anyway.... When I went to pay & get my card punch by the attendant, he punched "BASIC" car wash, so I asked, "if it's a basic car wash, why is it $80? Shouldn't you punch the custom car wash?" He replied with the typical, "oh I don't know, ask them." AS IF THEY'RE THE ONES PUNCHING THE HOLE. There is a lack of professionalism & communication between the service & the cashier & that will be at the expense of the patron. This isn't my first experience with the same problem. This business is not run cohesively or efficiently & it's very frustrating because this is one of the only car washes that still exists. I don't recommend it because at this point, I can pay someone to come to my house & wash my car. $80 wash + $20 in tips to the service people? They finished the job in 30 minutes flat - which was in no way to be kind my time, because the car sat there unattended for 12 MINUTES while I watched. I watched them work & it's literally no difference to what's done to my Toyota except they're shining the rims. When I got in the car, it looked fine (in the shade.) Once I left, the car very visibly had big white wipe streaks, the windscreen was still spotted, dust on the dashboard and air vents & coffee stain in the cup holder & in the visor. I was very clear that for $80 I specifically wanted the dust, hair & stains taken care of. The stains I just removed MYSELF with ONE WIPE, which lets me know that they didn't even bother to touch it with a wet cloth. I have been a semi regular customer but my visit today will end that. I spent $250 for an interior detail and wax. As I drive home I noticed the windshield still had bugs and lots of smudges. For a normal car wash I would right it off but if I am going to spend that kind of money plus tips I would expect a pristine car. I had a good experience at Encino Auto Spa. My only complaint is that it's a little pricey, but they did a really good job. Car washes are dying! It's nice to come to a place where someone actually hand vacuums and dries your car, rather than doing the quickie drive through wash. I pulled up on a weekday morning and was immediately assisted. It still took a while for my car to go through the wash (as it always does), but as I waited I paid for my wash and sat outside. There is PLENTY of seating outside, as well as some seating inside. When my car was finished, they notified me by tooting my horn. The drying part of the experience was pretty speedy, and when I gave my car a once over, it looked great! Been going to this car wash for years since this is close by - not sure about the bad reviews but I'm always satisfied with the service. I also live in the area so I get coupons for this car wash so for me it's good value. Since I'm a regular they don't try to up sell me anymore. Once in awhile they'll try but I just say no. Trust me you don't have to do the extra services if you do not want to. The car goes into the tunnel and the "hand wash" part is when they use their hands to scrub your car with soap. Some car washes have machines to do that but not here so I don't see any scratches or anything like that after the wash. The guys that dry the car after - well you get a mixed bag sometimes you'll get someone really thorough and other times you'll see some little spots to wipe off. You can point it out and they'll fix it. For frequent customers they also have a punch card so I've had a few freebies. If you live local and shop at nearby Ralph's they always have the coupons in the back of the receipt. read more

I rolled in around 5.15 and they were already rushing like they wanted to get out of there. Don't take in another client if you're not going to complete the job! Multiple dirty spots left on the car. The manager was rushing his guys to wrap up, guy that was drying my car apologized that he had to go. Left the car halfway done. Tried to find the manager but he had already bolted. This is my to go car wash. I have been coming here for years. Staff are courteous and accommodating. Ed - the gentleman- who gives you the receipt is friendly and give good suggestions. The cashier at the convenience store is nice and helpful with all the smiles. At the waiting area, CDC guidelines are being enforced.
