I wish I could give this place 6 stars. The food is out of this world. I have had the Cuban sandwich (which was so big I could only finish half), the scallops, and the goat cheese appetizer, and all have been superb. The effort of some very passionate people who only serve the very best shines through. The owners are the nicest people who try to make every customers experience as enjoyable and memorable as possible. The kitchen staff is always so happy, and everyone works as a team. Very much enjoyed our meal. The falafel app was very good, moist and tasty, zero greasiness. Break the tiny muffin sized piece in half and dunk deep in the creamy sauce. Yum. We enjoyed grilled shrimp po boys, one 1/4 and one 1/2 pound, both were amazing. The orzo salad was a nice different addition as a side. Girlfriend washed it all down with a honey lemonade she like a whole lot. We even got a dozen or so cookies for a late night snack after some intense negotiations. Good place. Nice space. There are restaurants that you want to go back to. And there are ones you must go back to. This is a must go back. Pork dish and shrimp dish were amazing. Accompanying vegetables were the star in both dishes. The available wine and beers were very good. Atmosphere was low key, which was just right. Stopped by a few weeks ago at lunch time on a weekday. The place was empty, save for one other patron. My sandwich was delicious, once it finally came. As I had somewhere to be, I had a close eye on the clock and it took roughly 20 minutes to receive a bacon, tomato, and cheddar sandwich. Soak that in. TWENTY. MINUTES. Crazy. As mentioned, the sandwich was tasty, but the pasta salad was nothing remarkable. I also thought that the prices were a little on the steep side for a lunch spot in Front Royal. $10+ for a grilled cheese, and that's the version without bacon... While I don't see it as a place my husband and daughters would necessarily enjoy, I may give it another shot. But times need to improve, especially over the lunch hour. read more

My husband and daughter came in to get lunch. The clear sign on the door said something along the lines of "don't come in if you have COVID symptoms." We cleared. We had our masks, but being a restaurant about to sit down and eat, we didn't bother to put them on just to take them off once we sat down. As we're looking at the menu, some big ole woman very rudely screams across the place to "Put a mask on!! We've only been doing this for a year now!" We pointed out that we're about to eat, and there was no signs. She continues to be rude so we decide to leave. A gentleman said there was a sign on the door, and lo and behold, handwritten on the glass in fine tip red sharpie in puny letters "mask required." We would've walked in with masks on if there was a clear sign. I hope that morbidly obese woman (I'm assuming the manager or owner) knows she should be more concerned about dying of obesity caused illnesses than COVID. If I could give less than 1 star I would. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences our family has ever had. Before we even sat down the server told my children they needed to "behave" and so do the parents! My children are young but well behaved. Then we were told to get our own water and come to the counter to order which we did. But while we were there 2 additional tables came in and the server took their orders at their tables. The food was overall not good either and it took a long time to come. The steak salad had meat that was almost not edible. The dressing for the avocado bacon salad had no flavor. Someone from the kitchen did bring our food out but nobody checked on us. Would never go back and would definitely not recommend. We normally check and trust yelp reviews, we have no idea how they got so many good reviews. read more

This place was excellent! The food was top notch. I got Devon's shrimp and scallops and my friends got burgers. All were perfect. The burgers were exactly as ordered, and my scallops were just the right amount of seared. They were extraordinarily personable as hosts and generous with their pours. They also provided us with a tray of house made sauces that were spectacular. We weren't hungry for dessert, but had to get the red velvet cake solely based on the fact that they were so amazing from the beginning. read more

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. l love Blue Wing Frog has amazing food! I go here with my mom a lot and we both love it! My only complaint is that it feels like a lunch spot with dinner prices.
