    Pecan waffle

Stopped off for a quick breakfast on our road trip through Naples and what a gem this little spot is! The menu is full of delicious options, so many it made it hard to choose. I selected the pecan waffle, with pecans cooked into the batter, and holy moly, was it good?!?! My son got Nutella crepes and fresh fruit. The food and service were speedy and I savored every morsel of that waffle. I dare say it was the best I've ever had (and I love me some waffles). Check this place out if you are in the Naples area. What a find!

Good food and service with nice size offerings. Each of the omelets comes with either toast or 2 pancakes and a side of fruit or potatoes or grits.

Cute cafe-we ordered the can chicken salad and substituted the dressing with raspberry Vinaigrette and it was delicious. My husband ordered their chicken wrap. Perfect outdoor lunch.

Came here for a birthday breakfast for my husband who loves pancakes. We ordered a variety of foods. The French toast was our favorite! The stuffed French toast was also delicious! The pancakes were amazing too! Weirdly the western omelette didn't come with cheese which made it very dry. The vibe in here super cute. Service was quick, We got our food quickly after ordering.

Friendly. Didn't go over the top but then again it seemed like maybe there was a rush and only two servers were on? Didn't matter much because we got what we wanted and needed. I got the shrimp and grits. He got the standard Benedict. I got a side of fried green tomatoes. All was crazy good. Portions were enough to take most home. Food was incredibly rich, but I was happy.

POV: You're finishing your coffee at your favorite breakfast spot and a stranger steals your coffee…read more Okay so. We have been going to The Rooster in Naples for YEARS. Years. Long before it was on food network. The food? Immaculate. Never once had an issue. Today? Today changed everything. Our waitress was an angel, no notes, we love her. We're sitting there, happy, sipping our coffee, not even an hour into the meal, barely finished eating, when suddenly a completely different server materializes out of nowhere and just... puts her hands. On the WHOLE top, every inch of the top half of our coffee cups. Mid sip energy. And starts trying to take it. This was our FIRST ever interaction with this woman. First words exchanged. We say, simply: "we are just going to finish our coffees." She hears us. Denies it. And grabs the cups anyway. I look up like excuse me?? And she looks at me, dead in the eye, and goes: "Well aren't you done?" MA'AM. NO. We were NOT done. We hadn't even finished writing the tip on the receipt which, by the way, she then just SNATCHES off the table. Gone. Like a magic trick nobody asked for, and I certainly didn't order. I say, still not finished. And this is where it gets unhinged, because she goes: "well there's a wait." A wait?? For WHAT. There were FOUR tables open inside. EIGHT tables open outside. Not a single soul waiting for a seat. She said it like she was reading off a script from a restaurant that was actually busy, which plot twist it was not. Then, and I need you to picture this, she starts REACHING ACROSS ME. Full arm extension. Into my personal space. Grabbing plates. Grabbing cutlery. I am frozen. I do not know this woman. She does not know me. And yet here we are, inches apart, over a fork. Questioning if I should ask for her last health test results because we are sharing breaths like a horror movie. My companion, sensing the unhingedness of the woman gets up to go find our ACTUAL waitress, the good one, because at this point all we want in this world is to finish our coffee, leave our 30% tip (we were being SO generous, we do not play like that), and say thank you like normal diners. But does the story end there? IT DOES NOT. Because as my companion is trying to talk to our sweet waitress, coffee cup snatcher strikes again and BUTTS IN. Not once. Multiple times. Interrupting my companion mid-sentence, over and over, like she just could not let the woman finish a single thought. Louder. Meaner. Full attitude, unprompted, uninvited, unwell, unhinged. Our actual waitress, bless her, is apologizing over and over, offers us brand new coffees, offers to reseat us like nothing happened. And she was so genuinely kind about it that we almost said yes. Almost. But we were both so shaken by that point that we just... left. And the WILDEST part? This woman was TRAINING someone. Actively. In real time. Passing the torch. Teaching the next generation how to traumatize brunch customers over a coffee cup. We love The Rooster. But that experience? Left a mark. I'll send you my therapy bill Roosters.

While scrolling through some of the photos and reviews, I saw the stuff French toast and I was immediately in! We came on a Saturday morning and they were busy enough but not packed. We asked for their first available, which was outside. During summer it's a bit of a risk to sit outdoors, but it was in a covered area. They have a little side patio area, but a lot of the outdoor tables are randomly placed up against the building and in the walkway to accommodate additional guests. It's kind of weird when people that live in the building walk by as the walkways aren't very wide. The inside area of the restaurant is not very large. Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Even if she did spill a bit of coffee on me which she was apologetic for. My husband got the crab cake Benedict and I got the strawberry stuffed French toast. Absolutely loved everything! My husband's only note was that he did not like the corn inside crab cake. The cheesy hash browns were definitely a hit for us! The stuffed French toast was divine - basically desert! I like that the dish also came with eggs and bacon! The iced coffee was pretty good as well. Overall, this was a great experience with the exception of the weird outside seating arrangement. 8/10 recommend!

From the moment we walked in, the hostesses and manager made us feel welcome and had us seated right away. Our server, Angel, was fantastic. He walked us through the menu, explained how many of the dishes were prepared, and made thoughtful recommendations without ever feeling pushy. We started with the octopus and fresh focaccia with honey. The octopus was exceptional--easily one of the best I've had and on par with dishes I've enjoyed at Michelin-starred and James Beard-recognized restaurants. We also shared the beet and goat cheese salad, followed by the local snapper and the ribeye cap topped with lobster claw and tail in chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully prepared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The cocktails were well balanced (not overloaded with ice), and the Thyme on Thyme is an easy recommendation if you're looking for something light and refreshing. The wine list paired nicely with the meal as well. Watching the sunset over the water while listening to music drifting across the park made the evening even more memorable. When we walked into the restaurant, we were presently surprised on how pretty the place transformed from what used to be Three60 Market. Cozy, rustic, chic. We arrived right when they opened so we were initially the only people there. However, that quickly changed in the next hour or 2. We were seated by the hostess, and our waiter quickly appeared. He was warm and friendly and was attentive throughout the night. They had a good selection of wines by the glass, and specialty cocktails From the summer dining specials, we all ordered different entrees. Everything was delicious. Their coffees are so standout because they get fresh whole beans, rather than just getting sent the ground coffee which is easier, but less fresh. ~Triple chocolate muffin ~Bowl of homemade chili, This chili was so thick and hearty, full of meat, beans, and flavor and topped with tons of shredded cheddar! ~Reuben sandwich, Georgi told us they were known for their famous Reuben so we had to give it a try! We are so happy we did! It comes on thick Rye bread, and is grilled with sliced corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing. It is served with delicious French fries and is a must-order! ~Georgi said his favorite was the Chicken Berry Salad. It has grilled chicken, spinach, lettuce mix, with grapes, strawberries, blueberries, candied pecans and craisins served with Balsamic vinaigrette dressing. This salad was the definition of freshness and all of the ingredients worked perfectly together. The candied pecans were divine and the produce was premium quality. This is another must-order! ~Now, it came time for Veronika's recommendation and creation: the Avocado Toast. It's on thick multigrain toast with fresh avocado, lemon, tomato, onion, feta, and 2 poached eggs finished with black sesame and olive oil. served with fresh fruit. All of the ingredients worked so perfectly together, and again, you could taste the quality. I like how they use fresh avocado slices rather than artificial spread. The yolks were nice and runny. ~Steak and eggs with over medium eggs, hashbrowns, and sourdough toast Goldie's Restaurant is my top brunch recommendation in Naples, FL. The food is phenomenal, and the owners, Georgi and Veronika, are some of the kindest and most hospitable people you'll meet.
