The food was always great, and fast out of the kitchen with friendly service. I'm glad to see that everything is status quo. The same family has been running this diner like clockwork for the last six plus years. Customer service at this location is so unprofessional, spoke to manager who was very rude and directed the issue to the "owner" and owner was not much different or help both extremely rude and blunt told me to stop calling and bothering them when they are busy not sure what their busy tried calling to resolve on 3 separate occasions they posted an unauthorized transaction. Fantastic local diner with great breakfast and lunch options. They were very busy on a Saturday morning so the service wasn't that fast, but the food made it worth it. The prices are traditional diner cheap prices with large portions. This is a great alternative from a mediocre hotel breakfast. read more

Classic 60's decor without the classic Buidling. Stopped here as we drove to Miami. We are big diner fans and fans of triple D. My wife went with a club sandwich and I had the daily special of the pot roast. my wife was just ok with her meal. The pot roast was great, only drawback was I asked by crispy fries vs the mashed potatoes. what I got was a mixed bag of fries, 1/2 under cooked and the other 1/2 cooked. the pot roast would have earned 5 stars by itself. Skin was still on and veins not taken out. It was cooked to DEATH. Fried onions were red onions probably grilled from the Bain Marie. Not good. Mashed potatoes with skin. Probably last nights left over baked potatoes. It was a nice sized scoop and was very dry. Had to mix it with gravy to let it slide down. Gravy was excellent. Yes I ordered fries with my mashed. They were frozen crinkle cut fries. I ordered them very well done. They were little pieces and cold and certainly not well done. I always enjoyed Joes Diner. I guess you can't always do it right. I had the meat lovers omelet ham bacon and sausage and cheddar w/ rye toast and a glass of orange juice. This was more then enough for a 200lb guy. Masked are I believe required when entering then you wore them or not. Very popular place judging from the crowd. Those that tend to panic about the crowds should not enter the front of the establishment is all glass so you can see whats going on inside. So if you do enter dont rate this place negatively about the crowd but say you still enjoyed the food. Do us all a favor and stay home. Food was ok but service was horrible, we ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich they brought bacon and when we asked for sausage they charged us an extra $5 for the sausage that was supposed to be on the sandwich. The lady simply said the kitchen would not giver her the sausage without charging. I think management needs to better communicate with kitchen and wait staff. read more

Came across this place after discovering a nearby Cuban restaurant was closed for the next week. Cute, little 50's diner with more than all the bells and whistles of a Johnny Rockets or Cafe 50's chain. Friendly staff, quick service. The food was okay, but what I had was nothing to write home about. I ordered a BLT and a cup of chili. The price was right but the sandwich lacked enough bacon. Two slices across the entire sandwich? You gotta have at least three so that you can taste bacon in every bite. The chili tasted like canned to me. Not a whole lot of flavor and zero heat. My friends ordered some Beef thingie and the Chicken Spinach Wrap. The wrap looked like it had ONE slice of chicken in there. Nothing really looked that appetizing but it was edible. See pics. Sounds like I need to come in here for "breakfast" as this is what most of the rave reviews are about. The place was empty and quiet, but we were the last people in here before they closed for the afternoon, so maybe that's what made the experience so weird. Been here twice. Food is always pretty darn good. Today I came in with my sister. Our server was Brian. He was fun and accommodating and made good recommendations and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. Close to the end of our meal we hear a bigoted slur loudly projected from behind the bar where the servers are. After seeing the looks of horror and disgust on our faces, the server, "proudly from Boston" exclaims "No ones going to tell me what I can and can't say." My sister and I stare at her in disbelief as we shake our heads at her. To which the customer she was sharing the hate speech with replies "God, you can't say anything anymore." MILLENNIALS, AMIRITE?!?! I figured the moment would die down after seeing how much she's visibly upsetting us but she continues with "no ones gunna change me or tell me how to act." The food is always fresh and tasty. The fries are the best in town. Portions are decent. This has become one of our favorite places for lunch. Try the Patty Melt! OMG! Even the deli sandwiches are great. We love the tuna on marble rye. The place looks like an authentic 50s diner inside. The only disappointment is the fountain milk shakes. In a real diner, they usually give you the silver mixing cup along with your glass. Joes should adopt that for authenticity. Maybe upgrade the quality of the ice cream too. But otherwise, Joes is a must-try in Naples. They close at 3:00pm. So get there early. Service can be a little slow during the peak lunch period. But that's to be expected. Great little breakfast spot. The food is old town America with reasonable prices. Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was a little robotic but that could've been because she was so busy. I even mentioned that it doesn't take long to crack a smile. The only thing I didn't like was the seat yourself method. It gets crowded and remembering who walked in first, second, third, etc. and trying to grab a table is tricky. It worked out in the end though. It's probably best to go on a weekday. It's very clean and they have memorabilia on the walls from the 1950's. I would probably go back for breakfast. read more

Fabulous place! I went with my mom for lunch and she had a turkey melt and I had a burger on Gluten free toast because I have celiac. Our food was so yummy! My burger was thick, juicy and cooked to perfection. The restaurant has great 1950s style decor and booths, lots of Elvis, Sinatra photos. We stumbled upon this place for lunch. We were looking for a casual restaurant to get a quick bite for 3 adults and my two year old and four year old. This was just what we were looking for! The kid's menu had a choice of a burger, chicken tenders, hot dog, grilled cheese, and maybe one other thing. They were all just under $5 and came with fries and a drink. It was all served on a blue Frisbee that was a take-home souvenir! Cute! They also put a little paper umbrella in their food which was a hit. Who thought a little umbrella would be so much fun for them!? My mom had a scoop of chicken salad which she enjoyed, my dad had the chili, and I had a turkey club sandwich. It was delicious! My only regret is that I can only give this place 5 stars! This is what a diner should be. After we walked in, my wife said if the food is half as good as the atmosphere this place I will love this place. The food was fantastic! I had the panini and my wife the grilled cheese and tomato. After a bad experience at Mel's Diner, we almost gave up on diners. This place changed our mind. We will definitely be back and encourage everyone we know to visit it too. A true hidden gem! read more
