If I could give 3 1/2 I would. Waitress was great. Very friendly. Prompt service and knew the menu well although she did disappear at the end. Probably shift change or something but we had to find someone else for our ticket. Not a big deal just would have liked to thank her. I liked the atmosphere and the location. My only issue is that I ordered a catfish sandwich and the piece of catfish, although very good, was less than half the size of the bread it was on. Two of the same size pieces may not have filled the sandwich and it's not like the bread was over sized. Regular sandwich bread size. I'm a little disappointed that the cook didn't say to himself "hmm... I'd be upset if this is what I was served so maybe I ought to do something about it." Fries that came with the sandwich are unique and very good. I was with 4 others and they all enjoyed their dinners more than I did mine. The place was clean, appetizer was great, beer cold, waitress and other staff friendly, location, ambiance... only thing that was missing for me was more catfish! I'd for sure go back if we are in the area again. I'd just order something different next time! read more

Great and friendly service! The ribeye sandwich was delicious! The French fries are homemade and reportedly "best fries ever"! Cute place! As for Covid, you had to wear a mask when you arrived or would be provided one. Wait staff had masks and the tables were spaced appropriately. read more

Our group of 4 stopped here for lunch while doing the Bourbon Trail. Server was very nice. Chatted with us a bit as it was after the lunch crowd had left. We had the Potato soup, it was very good. We ordered a Hot Brown, Club sandwich, Cheeseburger and salad. Everything was delicious. We ended up cancelling our dinner reservations as we were too full for dinner. Our group stopped in for lunch while we were bourbon tasting. The fried pickles were so, so good. Seriously. We all ordered burgers, medium and they were all over cooked. We didn't want to send them back because we had waited forever to get them and we were hungry. I called this past Wednesday night at last minute to make reservations for a group of 12 coming through Lawrenceburg on a church bus trip from Alabama on a time schedule. The experience was phenomenal! Not only did they have our table set and ready, but when we arrived we were immediately taken care of from orders took to food being served on a very timely manner. I've had the opportunity to eat at Bluegrass Sabor about a half a dozen times and I love it. The menu has a bit of everything, which sort of surprised me on my first visit. Beef fajitas, shrimp tacos, or a hot brown (and the list goes on). How is that for variety? :) The atmosphere is sort of upscale, but comfy at the same time. You could eat lunch/dinner wearing a three piece suit or jeans and a t-shirt and not feel out of place in either. The Hot Browns I am told are great- I do like the fried pickles here- FYI they are Spears so be aware they are not chips. I would recommend people here all the time. My wife and I really enjoyed a belated Valentines date. We were going to Lexington but when we had car problems, decided to eat local. Based reviews we picked Bluegrass Sabor. Despite a large group there,we were able to get good service and great meal. The broccoli was done perfectly, The filet mignon and shrimp were cooked as ordered and potato was well cooked. You don't have to look far to find a great restaurant in downtown Laurenceburg! We went to the Bluegrass Sabor and were so pleased with our experience. My husband got the special a beautiful Chicken Napolitano & I got the 12 oz Ribeye. Both were perfectly prepared - we got sides of grilled asparagus & sautéed squash. We found the atmosphere nice with jazz music playing softly in the background. The prices were low in our opinion for the meal, definitely a good value! Also a 24 oz draft of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel was $4.99. If you are going at a busy time you can get reservations which is a good idea, we were there early on a Wednesday evening & had no problem getting a table. read more

Stopped here after touring Wild Turkey and it was delicious!! My husband and I both had the Sabor burger. The burger comes loaded with fried egg, avocado, tomato, lettuce, grilled onion, jalapeño, sautéed mushrooms, onion, mustard and ketchup. You just let them know if there's something you don't want. Plus you get a side. I upgraded to fried green tomatoes that come with a horseradish sauce. So good! The sauce tasted great in the burger too. My husband had the French fries. Kind of a curly thick fry. Quite yummy. We had the Kentucky Bourbon Ale on draft which was $4.99. Quite a steal for 24 oz of refreshing beer. For dessert, if you can manage it, the waitress suggested the homemade bread pudding with Bourbon sauce which did not disappoint. Great stop if you're out on the Bourbon trail! read more

Except for the unfortunate arrival of the entrees prior to the appetizers, it was a great meal! Excellent food and service! We came here per the suggestion of our hotel as we were traveling through. The place was packed due to a car show. We were seated relatively quickly and service was very timely as well. The selection of wine was decent, but the sangria was delicious! Our food came out quickly and was great! Had to travel to Lawrenceburg today and decided to stop downtown for lunch. Visited the Bluegrass Sabor, a place we had never been to before. We arrived shortly after noon, but the restaurant was not crowded. Several tables were occupied, but we had no problem being promptly seated. Lunch menu had a good selection, but in the end we both decided on the house burger specialty. We were not disappointed. Excellent big thick cheeseburgers, correctly cooked, with a multitude of toppings of your choice. I chose fries for my side, and they were of a style I had not seen before, but very, very good. My wife had black beans and she said they were delicious. Excellent service from our server. All in all, a very nice experience. If we find ourselves back in Lawrenceburg in the future, I am sure we will visit again. Definitely recommended. read more
