They added espresso shots into and it was an absolutely delightful surprise! Highly recommend. We got to choose the flavors for the coffee flight and they were all so dang good! I recommend this place for a coffee date or a place to do any type of work, mama gathering or bible study or any gathering. They were makin egg bites when we walked in and it smelled so good! I did order a breakfast sandwich but I didnt get a pic of that because they did forget about it til we were leaving and I asked so I ate it later and didnt snap a pic. It was a decent breakfast sandwich. I also ordered their jalapeño popper snack box. I highly recommend that as well if you love those flavors! It was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be trying to make that at home, haha. I know Houston has a lot of places to try so add this one to the list! Happy Yelping

Any time I'm in the Alvin area I stop here and I also encourage everyone else to too!…read more Their menu is very " small town vibes " - a lot of the drinks are named after the workers. Only negative to this is - I've had some drinks that were DELICIOUS and made by the person who it was named after and then when returning it was made by another person and somehow NOTHING like the original. Prices are similiar to big name. Around 8-9$ for a 20oz. Which I don't love that but it's 2024. Their inside sitting is very eclectic and homey. I look forward to coming back here.

I have been looking for same white mocha and had yet to find it in over 10 years! Then Hando popped up across from my brother in-laws place. I was in absolute heaven when I tried their white mocha cookie frap. I require one everytime I visit manvel/Pearland. Staff has been so nice. No complaints here. There is a drive through where you do order and pay at the window. Hubs is a fan of their cold brew and lattes. I would say decently strong coffee. Havent tried their food options as i just run of coffee. I appreciate the hours of operations opening early enough so we can swing by to pick up coffee on the way to work! I just wanted to rave about their White Mocha Cookie frap. Highly recommend this you dont know what to try for any first timers.

It was very good and everything the barista said it was made with you could actually taste. The flavors and texture of the frappe were rich, creamy, and had a nice crunch. I would definitely recommend it and return to try another frappe I saw on the menu. Unfortunately, the Mac Brew was a bit underwhelming and wasn't as flavorful. The customer service was amazing, and the ambiance was clean, inviting, and spacious.

No, I'm the simpler, more joyless variety: I drink it black, the way whatever deity still has the stomach to look down on us clearly intended. And don't get me started on espresso, that tiny thimble of caffeinated punishment. Watching people sip it is like watching golf in slow motion: proof that somewhere, quietly, the will to live has packed a bag and left no forwarding address. Espresso, in any form, feels less like coffee and more like something Satan would serve while pretending to be European. So when I picked up a cup at the El Lago coffee shop, I expected something local, something honest, maybe even decent. Instead, I was greeted by a roast so scorched it tasted like the beans had been interrogated under a bare bulb until they confessed to crimes they didn't commit. They roast on site--or at least the bags for sale suggest as much--so I assumed it was fresh. Freshly burned, perhaps. The kind of coffee that makes you understand how Starbucks managed to lower the bar so elegantly: repeatable mediocrity, served with corporate confidence and a lid that says, "abandon hope." The shop itself was a confusing archaeological dig of antiques, knickknacks, and possibly cursed furniture--exactly the sort of place where I expect a porcelain doll to blink first. This is wildly outside my comfort zone, which is admittedly narrow and usually contains only a chair, a cup, and an exit strategy. Other people, however, seemed delighted, browsing with the serene confidence of folks who have made peace with decorative clutter. Definitely eclectic. Possibly haunted. Certainly over-roasted.
