I came in with my husband to get some Eyelash growth serum that they advertise on their website as well as Instagram.... They saw me and ignored me as well as other customers....Finally one stopped her conversation with other employees and asked if I needed help....She was NOT NICE...In fact she seemed irritated....I told her that I was looking for a Eyelash growth serum that they had advertised on their website and she said well, whats the name....I guess I was a little put off by her demeanor and of course I couldn't remember the name...then she asked well, how much did it cost???? WTF? Can you just show me a couple....????? I just said forget I will go home and order it online.....She rolled her eyes....... My husband couldn't believe it.... I dragged him out of there before he could ask for a manager and say a word or two about the employee....But to be honest from reading some of the other reviews I just don't think Sephora cares....I will just stick with Ulta or a dept store for my beauty needs....This has really left a bad impression and I most likely will never step into a Sephora again....

I have had multiple associates try to sale me a more expensive product, rather than point me to an item that I'm trying to find on the shelves. The lines are generally long with only two registers ever open and plenty of associates on their phones or chatting with each other around the store. Try waiting in line for 20 minutes at the very back, finally getting to the front, and promptly being told that the second register is now closed. Once you finally get to the register, there isn't a single acknowledgement of the long line or wait time. I mean even the woman that joined the line behind me watched it all unfold and said I'm sorry that happened to you. This is atypical for this location and every time I venture in I'm turned off more and more by Sephora altogether... Avoid this location and visit the downtown Palo Alto store for a better experience and genuinely helpful associates.

The evening starts with a bottle of crisp rosé and a beautiful organic vegetarian/vegan-friendly spread. Mondana even made delicious lentil dip to go with the assortment of nibbles. Then we move onto group facial starting with a pumpkin-seed peel, and a fresh mask Mondana blends right in front of you. And the stuff in the mask...wowmanuka honey, $500/bottle ginseng extract, organic blueberries, collagen peptide to name a few. After the mask was done, we finished our treatment with toners and moisturizers that she recommends for different skin types. The evening was topped with a very soothing hand massage with a massage oil of our choosing. I think Essentique's facial night is perfect for a girl's night out. I've done mani-pedi nights before, but often times the chairs can be far apart and it's hard to socialize. Essentique's setting is beautiful and serene but intimate at the same time. Perfect for relaxing and chit-chatting after a long day at work. My friends were so relaxed and happy. They all said I did extremely well choosing Essentique for our night out :) As a bonus, the next morning our faces were super supple and glowing.

So, when I found this amazing company I knew I'd be a customer for life! I can only speak to my experience of shopping online here, as I live in Florida and haven't made it into the Palo Alto store...yet! A few things to note: the owner hand-makes all of the amazing beauty products in small batches to ensure freshness, the products are all natural and plant-derived, and also when you order online you get shipped the most incredible box that you can tell was packed with love and thoughtfulness (the packaging is truly beautiful!!). I don't think you could go wrong with any of the products you try, but my personal favorites are the Uplift Facial Cleanser and Luminescence hand and body polish - both have absolutely changed my life. The cleanser has the BEST smell to it, so I actually look forward to washing my face every day (haha!) And the body polish, which contains Walnut Shell Powder, Banana Pulp Powder, Argan Oil, and Turmeric is so great. Every time I use it, my skin honestly feels like it just got pampered at the spa all day. Hands down the best body scrub I've ever used! If you're looking for eco-friendly, veganm plant-derived, organic face, body, and hair products, and also have a love for supporting women-owned businesses, I would highly recommend checking Essentique out!

Back in…read morethe day, like 10 years ago, they actually used to have a lot more designer shoe options. Like I'm talking really expensive designer at a fraction of the cost. I haven't seen designer shoes at this location for years now. It's unfortunate because that was one of my favorite aspects of shopping here. Now the only "designer" items, if you can call it that, they carry, are Kate Spade and Dooney and Bourke bags (which are hilariously kept locked in a glass case). I've seen the random higher end like Tiffany's keychain and Valentino sunglasses. But you're hard pressed to find any high-end designer items at this location. They do have a fabulous home section, though. Pillows and towels and decorative knickknacks at this location. And they actually do carry some great decorative furniture pieces too. I get some great deals on clothing for my six-year-old daughter. If she needs new clothes, this is my first stop before Target. I would say for the most part, the store is kept as organized as it can be considering how much product they have to put out in the space they have. The fitting rooms could be cleaner. There's always balls of dust on the floors in the fitting rooms. They could stand to run a vacuum through there every morning. I have always found the staff to be pleasant. The only annoying thing is when you are checking out they consistently ask if you want to get the Marshalls/TJ Maxx credit card. And they think they are enticing you with 10% off your purchase if you join. But if you actually do your homework, you'll see that the interest on their company's credit card is outrageous - making that 10% off irrelevant. Don't fall for it unless you plan on paying off your purchase immediately. Otherwise getting their credit card is kind of a trap.

They have a huge parking lot out front that is shared with other businesses in that strip mall. They also offer several handicap parking spots. Right when you walk in they had a clearance section where I found a Velvet Caviar phone accessories set for $16. That's quite a deal. Normally they are $99. I found a couple of cute St. Patrick's Day decorated plush cats. I got one for myself and one for my BFF. There selection of St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day and Easter decor and gifts is exceptional. They had a lovely selection of wrapping paper. I found a roll that had strawberries all over it. I had to get one of those. The checkout line was not bad. They had plenty of employees at the checkout which made the line move fast. Everything in the store is displayed so nice and is very organized. I definitely recommend shopping here.
