My husband and I were browsing shoes at Bloomingdale's, and I had been eyeing some Dior shoes for a while. It just so happened they were on sale that weekend! Joseph Pham was incredibly helpful in finding the right size and color to make sure I'd love my new purchase. Although the size and color I needed weren't in stock, he located them at another Bloomingdale's and arranged for expedited shipping to my home. He kept me updated via text on the tracking and even followed up to make sure I loved the shoes. That level of customer service and attention was amazing, and I really appreciate his help. If you're in the area looking for designer shoes, definitely ask for Joseph--he's the guy to help you out!

This review it specifically for the Tom Ford boutique inside of Bloomingdale's. I was approached by sales rep Josh Silva. A very knowledgeable individual on the Tom Ford private blends fragrances, Josh went out of his way to spray cards and fill decants for us to test. He went far and beyond any sales rep. Josh knew the note breakdowns as well as the fragrance history. He even took the time to write out the name of the fragrances on the cards for us to remember. Fantastic customer service, a true representation of what I expect the tom Ford to be.

Covid safety protocol was being followed. Limited amount of customers being allowed inside store. I forgot my purses at home (not the first time) so of course I needed one since we were in town for a week! After quickly scanning my options, I chose Ferragamo's Gancini because I was feeling a little nostalgic because he was my mom's favorite designer. Plus it was a cross body that was big enough to fit my phone, lip gloss and pocket tissues. The purchase was quick. The salesperson was sweet and we were out the door in minutes.

We don't have too many Bloomingdale's in NorCal. Three in the Bay Area only. This is one of the three located in Stanford Shopping Center, Palo Alto. A very nice high-end department store. This department store has many high-end labels they carry on the sales floor. The decorations are very beautiful. The layout of the store is colorful but comfortable. The store is not very crowded. Excellent shopping experience! I can always find a salesperson not far away in every section of the store. They're nice, friendly, and ready to help when you needed. This is not easy to get in other stores anymore! This is one of the best stores if you're shopping the high-end name-brand items. You can pretty much find they have everything you're looking for under one roof.

Because my local Targets are based on the Targets (Daly City, South City and San Francisco). I'm used to a certain level of product availability, coordination between staff members and Customers and finally, the parking lot are is a nice sizable space that should fit a large amounts of cars but to be honest it doesn't. This location doesn't necessarily meet all of this key points but as a Target store. They still meet the basic requirements and needs. The produce is great and fresh. The isles are fully stocked, even if it's lacking some key products that I can find closer to the Peninsula. The bathrooms are clean the isles are clearly visible and marked by signs for customers to navigate easier. These are basic necessities that are so very important as a customer. Now, for the things that can really use some improvements. Before you even get into the store. The parking is rough, to say the least. Because this Target is located in a strip mall and not in its own private lot. Parking can be a free-for-all. My personal recommendation, the earlier you can shop the easier it is to find a space. Let's put it this way to be nice. Some of the staff aren't the most comfortable in their roles. Their body language and attitude, can really use some adjusting. Not all but some do need better training. Whether it's because they're not having a good day or they're just not happy. Staff need to do better. Especially when dealing with the public. The value is always great at Target but pointless if you can't stand being in the store. There's always room for improvement, and improvement is needed in key places. The drive-up/ order pickup is also an issue. I made an online order with products that were shown to be fully in-stock. An hour later, I was sent a notification that half my order was ready but the other half was not available. How? if everything online was shown to be in-stock. Although, I was bothered I went to pickup the order anyway. Parking sucked because customers used the order pick-up spaces as regular vehicle parking. When I finally found parking, I got my order and drove off. A few of the items were completely wrong. Causing me to go back and fix the error myself. The staff have to-do better, they just need to find it. Please make sure that all drive up and go orders are accurate before releasing items to the customers. and not giving someone else's order out. You can easily kill an hour or two here just window shopping or actual shopping. Imagine the kinda fun you can have with kids in tow. Just make sure yo have an idea of what you want and not rely on staff for help. It's hit or miss on how it will affect your experience.

Two associates at the counter saw me approaching but continued their conversation with each other. When I reached the counter, I opened my Target app and displayed the Wallet barcode for my return. One associate looked at me and sarcastically asked, "What's this for?" I replied, "For my return." She completed the transaction, but immediately began talking to the other associate, saying, "People just put their phone up and don't know what they want--pickup, return, purchase?" I was standing right there and felt she was criticizing me in front of both employees. The comment was unnecessary, unprofessional, and made me feel embarrassed as a customer. I had done nothing more than present the barcode required for my return. What upset me most was the lack of courtesy and respect. Rather than feeling helped, I felt mocked. I believe customers deserve to be treated professionally, especially when they are standing at the counter within earshot of the conversation. I left the store feeling disappointed and would have appreciated a sincere apology for the associate's behavior.

Back in…read morethe day, like 10 years ago, they actually used to have a lot more designer shoe options. Like I'm talking really expensive designer at a fraction of the cost. I haven't seen designer shoes at this location for years now. It's unfortunate because that was one of my favorite aspects of shopping here. Now the only "designer" items, if you can call it that, they carry, are Kate Spade and Dooney and Bourke bags (which are hilariously kept locked in a glass case). I've seen the random higher end like Tiffany's keychain and Valentino sunglasses. But you're hard pressed to find any high-end designer items at this location. They do have a fabulous home section, though. Pillows and towels and decorative knickknacks at this location. And they actually do carry some great decorative furniture pieces too. I get some great deals on clothing for my six-year-old daughter. If she needs new clothes, this is my first stop before Target. I would say for the most part, the store is kept as organized as it can be considering how much product they have to put out in the space they have. The fitting rooms could be cleaner. There's always balls of dust on the floors in the fitting rooms. They could stand to run a vacuum through there every morning. I have always found the staff to be pleasant. The only annoying thing is when you are checking out they consistently ask if you want to get the Marshalls/TJ Maxx credit card. And they think they are enticing you with 10% off your purchase if you join. But if you actually do your homework, you'll see that the interest on their company's credit card is outrageous - making that 10% off irrelevant. Don't fall for it unless you plan on paying off your purchase immediately. Otherwise getting their credit card is kind of a trap.

They have a huge parking lot out front that is shared with other businesses in that strip mall. They also offer several handicap parking spots. Right when you walk in they had a clearance section where I found a Velvet Caviar phone accessories set for $16. That's quite a deal. Normally they are $99. I found a couple of cute St. Patrick's Day decorated plush cats. I got one for myself and one for my BFF. There selection of St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day and Easter decor and gifts is exceptional. They had a lovely selection of wrapping paper. I found a roll that had strawberries all over it. I had to get one of those. The checkout line was not bad. They had plenty of employees at the checkout which made the line move fast. Everything in the store is displayed so nice and is very organized. I definitely recommend shopping here.

The selection of stuff here is not as abundant nor as high quality as those stores. I guess that's a conscious decision from up top. Ross always feels a bit threadbare for some reason. Their housewares is surprisingly fun to browse and I have found myself buying random stuff like trash cans, kitchen towels, and cat cardboard scratchers. Their (women's) clothing has always been subpar with weird / unknown brands or very last season American Eagle clothing (and equivalent). Sometimes their bag section surprises me though. I often find Puma and Adidas stuff that looks rather decent. The occasional Michael Kors / Kate Spade shows up sometimes too. A lot of Betsy Johnson and equivalent brands here.

On the most recent occassion, we were the only two in the shop yet not one of the three employees greeted us. I even stood next to the counter in front of two employees and it was as if my daughter and I were invisible. I believe one of the employees was the owner. A group of three women walked in and were immediately converged upon. They were told about a sale and asked if they needed help. My daughter and I stood appalled at the flagrant favoritism as we continued to be ignored. My daughter and I both realized that the three women were dressed in designer outfits, while my daughter and I were dressed in comfortable shorts and t-shirts. I spend between $2000-$2500 A MONTH at stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Anthropologie (yes, I love to shop). I also wear clothing from Target. Whether I have my designer bag in hand or a Target purse, I would hope to be treated like a valued customer. I used to love to give my money to small boutiques like Alys Grace, but after the way we've been treated the last two times, we will not be returning to this location or their other stores.
