Wow, just Wow.....Lets see you have about 20 employees on the floor but they are too busy talking…read moreto each other to be bothered.... I came in with my husband to get some Eyelash growth serum that they advertise on their website as well as Instagram.... They saw me and ignored me as well as other customers....Finally one stopped her conversation with other employees and asked if I needed help....She was NOT NICE...In fact she seemed irritated....I told her that I was looking for a Eyelash growth serum that they had advertised on their website and she said well, whats the name....I guess I was a little put off by her demeanor and of course I couldn't remember the name...then she asked well, how much did it cost???? WTF? Can you just show me a couple....????? I just said forget I will go home and order it online.....She rolled her eyes....... My husband couldn't believe it.... I dragged him out of there before he could ask for a manager and say a word or two about the employee....But to be honest from reading some of the other reviews I just don't think Sephora cares....I will just stick with Ulta or a dept store for my beauty needs....This has really left a bad impression and I most likely will never step into a Sephora again....

I avoid this Sephora location and only stop by when in desperate need (and already at the Shopping…read moreCenter). I have had multiple associates try to sale me a more expensive product, rather than point me to an item that I'm trying to find on the shelves. The lines are generally long with only two registers ever open and plenty of associates on their phones or chatting with each other around the store. Try waiting in line for 20 minutes at the very back, finally getting to the front, and promptly being told that the second register is now closed. Once you finally get to the register, there isn't a single acknowledgement of the long line or wait time. I mean even the woman that joined the line behind me watched it all unfold and said I'm sorry that happened to you. This is atypical for this location and every time I venture in I'm turned off more and more by Sephora altogether... Avoid this location and visit the downtown Palo Alto store for a better experience and genuinely helpful associates.

I am at Palo Alto today for appointment…read more Took the opportunity to visit the shopping center near by . It has this " Discover our garden walk " poster and many beautiful flowers to explore. I have enclosed the photos of different. They are beautiful and lovely . There are huge parking lots around the shops , free Wi Fi and public restrooms. In the morning it is quiet , many coffee shops and breakfast places are open . The sky is blue and the sun is not too much at 9 am . We got some nice breeze and 65 F outside . It is perfect . Enjoy the garden walk and the plants and landscape are lovely.

If the Stanford shopping centers vision was lifeless store fronts and no one actually shopping then…read morethey achieved it. Owners please take a look around, no one is shopping. An entire year here and I literally see no one buying anything in any of the stores, regardless of the season. It feels very pretentious. Each store, each window has the same exact thing - no color, no life. Each store equally more expensive than the next. I have come to learn that the building owners sought a "vision" and pushed out previous stores here to have what it does now. Each store front pushes mute colors, I walk into a store $600 for the most boring top I have ever seen, and this carries on through each and every store here. Not to mention, a lot of the stores push concerning stereotypes and visions of women's bodies. There's a select few stores I love here, Outerknown (you are awesome) and Aesop, are what keeps me coming back - other than that, it's a sad shopping experience and I actually really enjoy shopping at a lot of malls. Sad, uninspiring. This mall is now pushing sad and concerning shopping and fashion culture. This is unrealistic, false expectation setting. It is deplorable.

Didn't plan to buy anything when I walked in - I just wanted to browse what products they had in…read morestore as I haven't been in a Bluemercury in a while. The first store I went to was in El Segundo and Larchmont and found that there was a location in Danville but had never paid a visit as shopping online has become the norm for me. But as I was in the area, I wanted to check things out in person, which I had forgotten how much fun the shopping experience can be. Typically I shop alone, I don't ask for help and sometimes people don't come up to me to ask me if I am in need of assistance. I was approached here, but had no questions at the moment. I browsed around on my own until I did and I thought the staff was somewhat knowledgable and super nice. I was in the store for a while and got to test a couple products out. Ended up buying a product from RMS which I thought would be a good product to try out. I was offered samples after I had purchased this item. I remember there was another lady in the the store who I think had just walked in for samples. I kind of wish I had thought of that... they did have SkinCeuticals' new product out and I had completely forgotten about it. Would have been nice if I received a sample of that or of another brand's product I did not already have at home to try. You can learn a lot just by walking into a store vs. shopping online. I never really have had a terrible experience at any of the Bluemercury locations which is nice to say. Not every beauty retailer also carries some of the brands that they have which makes them a competitor / go-to site or store I always keep in mind for myself when its time to restock on certain products or try new ones out!

A rude customer came in AFTER me and started looking at the same brand display I was sampling. He…read morewas inches away and did not even say "excise me". The sales person started fawning all over him and didn't have time to answer my question and said she'd be right with me after she helps this rude idiot, she simultaneously grabbed the item I was intending to buy out of my hand and said she'd hold it for me, as if it were a shoplifting prevention tactic. I have spent thousands of dollars in there and there was more than one sales person. They always have a disjointed too cloying approach or they get distracted by someone demanding and rude. Never again I walked out and am done with blue mercury all stores. It's trash treatment and I can find better at any number of places in Palo Alto or online.
