I didn't catch the gentleman's name but he was very communicative from the start, which I appreciated. We had a set appt time, he texted me 10 minutes prior to arriving to give a heads up. He was able to access my gated community with the directions provided without issue. I let the gentleman know that my dog was recently rescued and doesn't enjoy car rides or the groomers and he was very empathetic to her worries. I've only groomed my dog one other time since I've rescued and this was much more relaxed than a car ride and then a traumatizing grooming appt. This grooming was on the pricier side of any grooming I have ever paid for, $70 for a 12 lbs Chihuahua full groom but if I don't have to deal with the hassle in the car, and leaving to take her to pick her up in two hours, I think it's worth the additional $20-30. My dog seemed to be a lot more relaxed after this appointment and I think I will continue with mobile pet grooming, and will use BluePet again for sure. The gentlemen listened to what I wanted and delivered. Hopefully this review is recommended by yelp because the prior two 5 star reviews weren't recommended for this business and now this small business, has no stars. To say that I'm beyond impressed with the care and quality of work that went into my dog's grooming session would be a huge understatement. Blue Pet Mobile Grooming went well above what I hoped for. My dog is a 10 year old terrier mix who has never been a fan of nail clippings and can barely tolerate getting his hair trimmed, but seeing how well Gerardo took care of him was amazing. I'm not sure I've ever seen my dog happy coming back from a grooming session, but he hasn't stopped hopping around since it ended. He looks sharp, he smells good, and Gerardo even put some lotion on a sore spot my dog had on his toes. I'd leave more than 5 stars if I could. Absolutely incredible. read more

What an amazing experience! We just moved houses and didn't know what to do to get my dog less stinky. I've grown tired of bathing him in our tub as the cleanup afterward is a PITA. I recently lost my groomer of 14 years. I have two older dogs that would not tolerate going to a salon to get groomed so I opted for a mobile groomer. Blue Pet mobile grooming, got 4 1/2 stars on yelp but I can tell you I did not get anywhere near 4 1/2 star service. It is very difficult to get into a groomer in a timely fashion so I have had to wait many weeks. Our appointment was scheduled for yesterday however, the guy texted me last week, on Thursday, stating we had an appointment that day and where was I because I was not answering the door. I am a nurse, and happene to work out in the community, and was around the corner, so I was able to come over to my house and have a discussion with him. By the time I got here, he realized he had made a mistake and put the appointment on the wrong day and that it was actually scheduled a week later, which was yesterday. I asked him several times to confirm that he had the appointment on his schedule for the following week and each time he said yes. So I cleared my schedule for yesterday so that I could be here at the times he said he would be here which was noon. I sat here until 3 PM and he never came. I called and left several messages asking just to call me back and let me know what was going on as I had to go back to work . Nothing. No response no communication. This kind of behavior is so frustrating to me and makes me so angry because we are at the mercy of these people providing a service. If you're not going to live up to what you commit to, just tell me so I can move on And get that service done elsewhere. Now, we are back to square one, calling a new groomer and having to wait many weeks to get in. My dog is a west highland terrier and needs to be groomed every month and he has not been groomed in almost 4 months Between hoping our previous groomer would come back to grooming and then having to look for another groomer, four months later, my poor dog looks like a mess. Blue Pet Grooming, I don't know how you stay in business with this approach. I may have been willing to go forward with you if you would only had the consideration to call me back and let me know what was happening. That is the worst part.... You just blew me off... Surely you know if you continue to treat people like this, your business will fail. Clearly, I would never recommend your service, and I hope other yelp readers will consider what I have relayed to them. read more

Fantastic mobile groomer. I'm visiting from out of town and he was able to groom both of my dogs and trim my mother in laws dog's nails on a very short notice. He did a great job on all 3 dogs. Other groomers didn't even return my call. Imagine my delight when he actually answered instead of getting voice mail. I would definitely recommend and wish he was available at home in Idaho. Booked an appointment weeks ago, got a call 2 hours before he was supposed to be here saying there was an issue with the vehicle and he could not be available. Rescheduled for 5 days later at 4 pm. No call, no text to confirm on that day. When I reached out, he said it would be 5:30 before he could be here. Had 2 dogs scheduled, one being a lab which I knew would take a minimum of 90 minutes. Gerardo responded to my request to book an appointment promptly and was able to fit in my two 7 month old kittens on the same day! His mobile grooming unit is clean and has all the amenities you would expect at a grooming shop - except he comes right to your door! After bathing, brushing and trimming my two VERY long-haired persian cats, they came away looking very pretty, and they were pretty chill about the whole experience. I expected them to be a lot more stressed. Thank you Gerardo for a job exceptionally well done!
