My friends and I were all craving sushi so we went to this place and it did not disappoint! For just under $30 we got the Sashimi Dinner Combo and it was honestly worth what we paid for. You get miso soup, and sunomono salad, which were both extremely refreshing to start off with. Then we got 4 pieces of tempura(shrimp and veggies), after that we had our sashimi. The service was great and the place looked amazing and clean as well. Stop by here if you're craving sushi in Kelowna!

We came in about an hour before we closed and we still received great service and the food was really good! I am from the Lower Mainland and good sushi is hard to come by in Kelowna. Bluetail sushi is actually just as good as any sushi Vancouver. It's just as fresh and just as delicious. The salmon did not have a strong fishy aftertaste which I found most Kelowna sushi joints have (it's telling of the quality of the fish they have). I really loved the tuna oshi and their negitoro rolls are pretty delectable! I'm pretty happy with my dining experience and I will definitely come back. The prices are pretty decent and the ambience is almost business casual? Like you can come all dressed up and you won't feel overdressed. Alternatively, you can be pretty casual and not feel underdressed. Highly recommend!

We came for an early dinner (before 6). It was fairly empty. Server says the dinner rush is closer to 7. Lots of parking, private lot just outside the door. We were greeted right away, friendly service. Fish is really fresh!

Been coming here once in awhile for 3+ years and it's always good. Service is always great. Love the jazz music, decor and ambience. Definitely a nice change from the typical hole in the wall Japanese restaurants. Over the years we've tried so many things on the menu. To name some of the things we've tried off the top of my head: gomae, sunomono, Brussels sprouts, crab rice, Motoyaki, tempura, beef carpaccio, tuna 3 ways, sliders, so many different types of basic and specialty rolls, blue tail wrap, yakisoba, teriyaki, black cod and affogato. Black cod is Soooo delish. Everything is always well done and very delicious.

Food/Drink: 40/50 - Don't get me wrong; the food was really very nice. I think the reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because it could have been hotter in temperature, and could have packed some more flavour. I'm really picky here because there's so many great sushi places out there. If I'm in the chefs shoes, I'm doing everything I can to have my edge. In saying that, I'll be back again to try more! Staff/Service: 23/30 - very friendly and accommodating. I felt the men serving us could have been groomed more appropriately for the style of the restaurant. In saying that, their attitudes were professional and welcome. I would be happy to be served by them again. Could have been more interactive with our experience as there was so many delicious and adventurous items to choose from. One quick offer would be to tell the guests specifically what the chef has prepared when it hits the table so we get that unique experience. Decor/Environment: 18/20 - clean, loved the decor. Love the round tables and chairs in the middle of the restaurant. Great style and very comfortable for 2-4 people. Looking forward to coming back! One of the best Japanese restaurants in Kelowna ! They are also open later than most everyday. I love their Brussels sprouts and their fish is always fresh. Must try their spicy miso soup :)

I eat a lot of sushi, as I live in Vancouver. My rule of thumb is if you're further than 3 hours fron the ocean, I don't eat sushi there. I make an exception for this place. Most of their food is high quality, and well made. My only complaint though is their portion size. 6 pieces of tuna sashimi for $12 is *alright* but the pieces are half what they should be. I also had the seafood popcorn which was tasty enough, but for $8 I feel they could have tossed more seafood into it, especially considering the pieces were so small. All in all the food is tasty? But $20 in Vancouver for sushi is going to go way further than it is here. Also, who puts lemon with tuna sashimi?!

Go here! Just go! Great food, clean, great service, excellent prices. Sushi is fresh and some creative delicious rolls that you don't find elsewhere but also has a great selection of the traditional sushi foods.

Best sushi I have had in Kelowna. Hands down. Pay a little extra but the quality cannot be beat.

Best sushi I have ever had! I was surprised to find this gem so far from the coast, but they definitely live up to their awesome reputation.

They told us it would be a 20minute wait but after 10 minutes they were able to get us a table. Quite an extensive menu. We settled on 2 miso, tempura bento box with gyoza, squid, tonkatsu ramen, sashimi duo, rainbow roll, and a dynamite roll. Food came out quickly. Miso was one of the best we have had. Kids enjoyed the gyoza - one of their favourites. The squid was great - probably should have gone with half order. The rainbow and dynamite roll was different from other places we have been too but still good. The ramen was good but not the best we have had - but the kids did enjoy it. I thought the broth wasn't as flavourful as we have had before. We ordered way too much food and had to pack some for home. Service was friendly and efficient. Washrooms were clean. Will definitely try and come back again.

If you come here you should get their karaage chicken ramen or the death by chicken karaage. The…read moredeath by chicken karaage has a nice flavor kick to it. It is not spicy at all. The chicken was nice and crispy. The noodle was tasty. Do not order the Ebi Wonton ramen. I went back the second time and got that and I was disappointed. It reminded me of Chinese Wonton soup. Note that their chicken and pork chashu is not made using the authentic way. They do not use pork belly for the chashu. It is not the one you typically get at ramen from bigger cities or Japan. The chicken is basically regular seasoned chicken breast and the chashu is basically pork shoulder. The one I am used to is where they take the pork belly, season it and then roll it up. It is not the case here. The noodle was tasty but not wow and you can tell that it was freshly made in house. Broth was ok. But hey this is the only ramen place in Kelowna (2023) at the moment. Inside is ran by Japanese people. Chicken Karaage ramen 3.5 stars Ebi Wonton Ramen 1.5 stars Death by Chicken Karaage 4 stars. I am giving this place 4 stars because it is located in Kelowna. If this restaurant was located down in the coast (Vancouver) or any big city than I would give it 2 stars. Also I do find that the quality of food was not very consistent. I went back the second time and it was not as good as the first time. Service was ok. Note that Parking is free after 6 pm.

We were greeted immediately and sat at a table at the end of the restaurant. We ordered Chicken Karaage and Gyoza to start. The karaage was excellent. My wife who doesn't usually like fried stuff thoroughly enjoyed it. They also have a spicy version which I think I will try next time. The Gyoza was a bit meh. For ramen we ordered 2 Original's and 1 Tan Tan Men. The Tan Tan Men was excellent - broth was flavourful and enough spiciness that you get a kick but without overpowering everything overall. The Original wasn't that good - broth wasn't as flavourful. The noodles also were the straight thin kind which is not our favourite. We also had 1 order of extra noodle on the side which was quite a good portion. Service was good and washroom's were clean. For one of the top Ramen places in Kelowna we were underwhelmed.
