Gemelli Pasta with Shrimp & Scallops

Service was great, was well attentive. Wasn't busy for 4th of July and was a great dinner restaurant with the family. Pasta dish was recommended by our server and was FANTASTIC. Only downside was the clam chowder tasted saltier than it should be.

This was our first time at bluewater grill, but it won't be our last. I will let first warn you that parking can be crazy, which is often the case when a place shares a parking lot with the gym. There is an EOS in the same center, and I have a sneaky suspicion that's the reason for it lack of parking. Steve I'm back walking out and got a space right near the door. It's kind of cool because the building is raised up almost like it's on up here and there's blue lighting underneath the building at night. When you walk in there is a dining room area in the bar, there is a another large dining room, and when you walk through there there is a different room that is the sushi bar. The sushi bar is so cute with counter seating as well as some seating around the room. The dining room we were in had a glass ceiling, but the shades were pulled. I'm guessing because it was a bright and hot day. Fair are life-size "fish" hanging around the dining room, and what's really great is that the server seem to know what each of these fish is. I asked about a large red one and the server knew immediately that it was an opah. I found it really quite interesting. Our server was very cheerful, knowledgeable, and really on her toes. She was working hard for her money because this place was really packed. And even though she was clearly busy, she managed to be extremely attentive and checked on this often. She immediately brought our water and probably came back for our cocktail orders. We ordered a couple of drinks and I serve her bought us hot sourdough bread with butter. It was really good. Despite not knowing what a sand dab is, after speaking with the server I ended up giving it a try. Sand dabs are a small fish similar to flounder that are delicacy in california. My order came with three sand fans, and it was delicious. It reminded me of swai, which I love but is hard to find in restaurants. It had a wonderful buttery flavor and topped with the beurre blanc with capers, it was delicious. It was hard with a yummy scalloped potatoes and green beans. It was a 10 out of 10 for me. Hubby got the trout almondine with the scalloped potatoes and green beans. His trout was quite large. Both of us were very happy with our choices. We were quite happy with our experience here. There aren't a lot of seafood options in the area, but this is a solid choice. Prices are not terrible either which is another added bonus!

The fresh fish and the market are amazing

Another great night at Bluewater Grill. I've been coming here for years... starting with the original location. Last minute decision to come tonight not realizing that it is Friday and Lent!! Place was packed. Waited for first available anything! Was able to get a high top in the bar area! So happy to have Ashley as our server! She was incredible!! Let us know about some great items and suggestions on our order. Didn't take photos tonight as we were focused on our food and drink. House wine, margarita. Clam chowder, scallop dinner and crab cake appetizer. The bread is always my favorite! Thank you Ashley and Jeff ( can't forget the big man) for getting us seated and enjoying yet another great night at Bluewater.

Today was a day work was special & I needed to just chill. Price point was up there but well worth the chill. The fish grilled nice tender and char amazing . Blended arugula salad and sauce was perfect sitting on a bed of lettuce. I can say one thing of the whole experience perfect that barramundi dish PERFECT. I also craving a Bloody Mary & it did not disappoint only desire more black Pepper but overall perfect. Fluffy Grandma recommends excellent service!!!

Came here on a Saturday night around 7:30 PM. It was busy, but there were still seats available. We were seated right away, which was a great start to the evening. The manager, Steve, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable as soon as we walked in. The restaurant itself is very spacious and clean, with a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. The service was great throughout the night, and our food arrived quickly without feeling rushed. We ordered the fresh West Coast oysters, and they were absolutely amazing -- fresh, clean, and full of flavor. The clam chowder was also really good and well-seasoned. Both grilled fish entrées were cooked perfectly and tasted great. The sides were okay -- nothing particularly special. The green beans were overly cooked, so they were soft and not very well seasoned. The scalloped potatoes were okay, in my opinion. Andy, one of the staff members, was friendly, nice, and efficient. Overall, this was a great dining experience with excellent service and delicious food. I would definitely come back and recommend it to others looking for a nice seafood spot.

Always great food Fantastic Happy Hour A seafood restaurant built from a family passion mixture of culinary experts and active fishers. Many locations, equally fantastic. A newish location for Bluewater, now conveniently located off 51 and Bethany The best selection of seafood in Phoenix, Scottsdale... great unique sushi, fish market and huge bar. Happy Hour, 3-6... only place you can find Guinness on a Happy Hour menu, amongst all drafts. Great selection of oysters, also on Happy Hour. Huge menu of fish and meat & salads As you are seated, you are served a jug of water and fresh baked sourdough. One of the best features of their Happy Hour is that the servings are just the same as the regular priced dishes. Fish tacos, stuffed with actual cod, not just any white fish that's cheaply available. Premium and traditional sushi rolls. Equally sized on their Happy Hour menu. Quality and prices have held up through the 15 years I've been frequenting Bluewater. Never had a bad dish or bad experience

The seafood here is AMAZING! I have only eaten here twice but will definitely be coming back!! Very clean seafood specific ambiance, and the service was awesome, our waitress was very educated on their seafood menu, had great details to add about everything and made great recommendations!! Definitely coming back to try more dishes!!

Service is awesome as David our waiter remembers my grandson when he was here for his 18 birthday last year. Ambiance is always good. The food was very very good. My grandson ordered tuna sushi hot which was hot. But it was very good. My daughter ordered crabcakes. They also were very good. They were for appetizers. My grandson then ordered the lobster roll with coleslaw for lunch. It was a little different than I expected, but looked very good. My daughter ordered a swordfish & it was just a little different than I expected. However, it was good. I had the trout grilled with green beans and scallop potatoes. I really like the scallop potatoes. The green beans were good. The trout was delicious however grilled a little too done then I prefer. It was also send, which may have been some of the problem. We didn't order Desert as we were all very full. I did take part of my meal home to eat later. Thank you for helping us to celebrate Mother's Day.

Fantastic dinner tonight. New England clam chowder is the best. I had the Seasonal special Cajun seafood gumbo, OMG so delicious and bountiful. My wife had the grilled trout also delicious. Our server Will was so helpful and polite

Even when I screw up the management of Blue Water Grill comes to my rescue. I erroneously booked a reservation for Saturday when I meant to book it for Friday. So I show up on Friday for my birthday dinner and they didn't have me listed. Of course they didn't. I messed up. But graciously and methodically they figured out a way to get me seated. The food didn't disappoint. Wonderful shrimp and fried cod. The asparagus was phenomenal-- nicely charred. My birthday dessert was yummy. Thank you guys. I love your restaurant but I like u as people even more.!!

We celebrated our daughter's birthday at Bluewater Grill. Brian, our server, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Great focus on customer service. We were happy to be seated at a round table making conversation easy. Noise level was low. We were able to take advantage of happy hour which was on a Saturday from 12 to 5. We ordered the following: Captain's Mai tai, Cucumber Mojito, El Cubano (rum, coke, and lime) and a Coconut Margarita. We enjoyed the freshness of the mojito. The toasted coconut was a nice addition to the margarita. My husband said the Mai tai was just ok but my son loved it. We would not order the El Cubano again. You could tell that all the entrees were made with fresh ingredients. We skipped appetizers, however, the sourdough bread with butter was served straight from the ovens. We ordered the: Rainbow Trout Amandine ($28.50) - the lemon buerre blanc was served on the side, nice portion of trout, flavor was good. We would have liked a few more capers. Scalloped potatoes were excellent. Green beans were plain. Cedar Plank Salmon served on a cedar plank ($34) with a maple dijon glaze. We enjoyed the flavor of the glaze, not too sweet, however, we felt the portion of salmon could have been larger for the price. We subbed fries for the asparagus. San Francisco Cioppino with clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp, scallops and fish ($40) was the star of the dinner. We paid the upcharge of $2.00 to include linguini with the dish. Plenty of seafood and served with a bib! Beautiful presentation. Large portions. We were too full to order dessert, however, the server brought out two servings of ice cream with lit candles to celebrate our birthdays. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends.

I love attentive waitstaff! And the waitstaff is attentive! It is like being catered to and a wonderful dinning experience. Thank you for making me feel important. I order oysters! My word! My word! My word! When I tell you the freshness of the oysters I am still shaking my head in agreement! The oysters taste clean and briny, not fishy, with sweetness. The texture made my mouth dance. It was excellent in my mouth. I would go back and I can't wait to go back! Let me hurry up and go back!

I had dinner with a couple of girlfriends at this Bluewater Grill location... It reminded me a lot of it's predecessor, Fish Market, but hadn't been there in many years, and I was more impressed than I expected with the food quality and ambiance. Service was mostly great although we had to wait a bit to place our order and we didn't get proactive water refills. I enjoyed everything I ate including the Caesar Salad, some of my friend's sushi, and the Miso Cod entree. Bluewater Grill has this location and seven others throughout California. I get the feeling it's consistent and has plenty to offer at all of them. I would definitely return for a quality experience and consistent food if in the area... but not sure I'd go out of my way either.

The soothing decor and soft lighting created a cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a delightful meal, especially on an unseasonably hot day. We began our culinary journey with the Larb Mushroom appetizer, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The dish featured succulent oyster mushrooms tossed with roasted rice powder, fresh mint, shallots, cilantro, and a vibrant chili-lime dressing. Each bite was a refreshing explosion of flavors, combining the earthy richness of the mushrooms with the zesty brightness of the dressing. It was light, refreshing, and a perfect precursor to the meal ahead. For her main dish, my wife chose the Pad Z U, an outstanding selection that showcased sautéed broad noodles, crispy fried tofu, and Chinese broccoli, all enveloped in a delectable sweet soy sauce. The noodles were soft and chewy, creating a delightful texture that harmonized beautifully with the vegetable medley and tofu. The heat in the dish was skillfully balanced, providing just enough kick without overwhelming the palate. My wife couldn't stop raving about it! I opted for the Kua Kling, and it truly was a star of the evening. This spicy stir-fried minced chicken was enriched with fragrant curry paste, lemongrass, and kaffir lime leaves, resulting in an aromatic dish that was accompanied by tender long string beans and the unique Sadtor beans. The flavor profile was complex and enticing, with each ingredient complementing the others in a delightful dance of spice and freshness. It was a dish that not only warmed my belly but also left me craving more. What elevated our experience even further was the attentiveness of our server. With a genuine smile and a welcoming demeanor, they offered excellent recommendations and ensured that we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Each dish was exceptional, bursting with flavor and crafted with care. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and a cozy ambiance makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable Thai dining experience.
