Would not recommend this place. Didn't try the food. Service was so bad, we left. Waitress totally ignored us.

We were sent here by recommendation from a friend and so pleasantly surprised by our experience here. We ordered an appetizer sample and the food was very, very good. This is a bar inside a strip mall with lots of TVs, rowdy sports fans, locals, and all, but we were welcomed right in and found a nice booth to sit at and enjoy our meal. Decided to try Bluffs because it was off the beaten path, and I'm drawn to neighborhood places. Our servers did great. Easy going, yet attentive. I wish I could remember his name, but the gal that was training him was named Alexandra, and she was great too. As far as food, it was good. My wife had a salad that she liked, and the wings I tried, sweet Thai chili and garlic parm. we're some of the best I've had, especially the garlic parm. I wanted to try some of the local beers, but they were out of those, which was disappointing. If we're ever out that way again, I'll definitely hit them up for some more wings. read more

We made a reservation on a Friday night, expecting it to be busy... it was dead and seat-yourself. Big open space with wrap around bar, but some awkward seating options. Our server was very curt and dismissive. We seemed to be an annoyance to then for being there. Aside from that, the burgers we got were PHENOMENAL. Fries too. We went to the Bluffs while visiting the area for Spring Break. This area is CRAZY packed and restaurants have seemed difficult to get in to (even for Papa Johns - 2 hour carry-out). So we chose this based on Yelp's help as well as the fact you can make reservations. When we got there, 20 minutes early, we realized we didn't need them. However the waitress said you really never know how packed it will be. The restaurant is like a big open area... lots of seating options available. The environment is casual and low-key hip. With cornhole boards, pool tables, and darts. We got the mozzarella sticks and pretzel w/ cheese appetizer. My boyfriend and step-son got burgers and I got fish tacos. We enjoyed our time. When staff was notified we were standing up for someone to clean any of the various dirty tables, she stated "Theres only so many of us". She NEVER returned. When we come to the area, we try a new place to eat. The Bluffs did not disappoint. The atmosphere is that of a sports bar. It was around 8 pm and the place was not busy. We sat in a booth across from the bar. The booths are not that comfortable. You tend to really sink end, so when you eat, you have to sit on the edge. They have a free app for checking in. We went with the potato skins. There were good. For the entrees, I had the chicken tenders and my wife had the wings. The tenders came with fries and cole slaw. The cole slaw came out warm and was not visually pleasing and had an off taste. Other than this, the meal was very good. The tenders were fresh hand breaded. The wings had a great taste (Garlic Parm). The service was great and prompt. Based on the first trip experience, we will be back. read more

I found little interest in taking my order by anyone until a dude barkeep came by and had the realization I've had a menu for :30 so "maybe I'll check in." I will say the chicken quesadilla was tasty and filling. The beer was cold and fresh. It's just the lackadaisical/ uncaring attitude of bartenders that stuns me. There were only 4 of us at the freakin bar. There were 3-5 bartenders. No check up on how the food was. My minor communication was met with blank faces. I mean I'm not Carrot Top amusing but good gravy, humor me as I'm the one tipping you. I had to ask for the NFL game to be put on while the other TV's were left to stupid ass espn news without sound. Question: Why not play the volume up during a live NFL game? The live sport announcing creates a buzz and suggests drinking, a party atmosphere etc. I never understood why bar managers don't do this. Instead I heard a Karen Carpenter song along with whatever else was selected by who knows who. This place has the makings of a great bar it just doesn't deliver with the staff or atmosphere. We found this gem on Yelp. It's in a strip mall and sits back from the road. The entire town was slammed and we hoped this local place would be less crowded and to our pleasant surprise it was! We were seated immediately. Our server Brittney was new but she was sweet and did a good job. We ordered some appetizers and then all had a entree. We were a table of 6 and this was our first and last time at this restaurant. We were served in "waves". Two soups came at the same time as the chicken wings and potato salad. Soup was cold and had to be returned. 10 minutes later came two burgers and the Cole slaw (that was ordered with the wings). The sixth meal arrived after an hour of waiting (buffalo Mac and cheese and after having to physically leave the table to find help) and it was brought cold as well. We chose to come in on a Friday night around 6/7 after traveling to Gatlinburg for the weekend. There was no wait and it was self seating. The restaurant had live music going at the time. However, I sat on the other side where the bar was located. Plenty of TVs to watch. Our waiter was attentive and went to ask their supervisor when they weren't sure about something (the Yelp check in offer). He came to support the community by donating a guitar to Smoky Mountain Children's Home & then was going to perform here tonight, Well, after him driving up from Nashville with his family to do this & plan his weekend around performing here, this place cancels on him, not wanting to support foster kids, at-risk youth, Giving Guitars Foundation and those trying to do good in TN! So this is probably the most disturbing thing that has ever happened to us. My husband ordered a burger and went to put sauce on it and thankfully our daughter yelled before he ate it. There was mold literally everywhere on the pretzel bun. I mean just covered!! The waiter was apologetic and took it off the bill, but how did it make it from the grill to the table? There were about 20 staff just standing around eating and talking. The bathroom was so gross I didn't even wash my hands in it.
