Worst experience of my life. Please do not use makeup services of this Salon from Ruby. I was very clear about my makeup requirements.I told them that it is for my daughters birthday party and asked for not heavy and natural looking no makeup look but they did such a worst job that I couldn't recognise myself. I had to remove all that heavy makeup right before party and do it my own at home. Please don't go on their pictures. Those are all Indian heavy bridal makeup looks which can make you fool if you are looking something natural looking professional makeup. They just curl my hair and called it hair-services which I could have easily done at my home. Please do not use this salon for your special days. They will waste your time and ruin your day. They do heavy cakey looking makeup even though you are specific about your needs. I gave my own skin color charlotte tilbury foundation which I use for my skin daily and still makeup artist manage to do such a worst makeup. I will never recommend this place for makeup and hair services. I will be happy to share my pictures if you want proof. For such a worst service they charged me good regular price. I'm really specific when it comes to eyebrow threading in general and I only trust very few people with my brows. Most threading shops in Bakersfield don't listen to what you want and do whatever they think is best which most of the time isn't, BUT this place is DIFFERENT!! I will never go back to this place. Went for my scheduled appointment on Friday, this was my third appt. with the only stylist that seems to work there, I have pictures that I show as to how I want my hair, every time I have been there, something has always gone wrong with the haircut, two weeks before Thanksgiving I was there for my usual haircut, I was basically scalped, my haircut was no where near how I wanted it, the stylist made the comment that he cut it short so I would not have to go back for a while, are you kidding me? I normally get a haircut every four weeks since it's short and when it's done right. It took it nine weeks to grow back. I go in Friday and as the stylist is wetting my hair, he is making comments about how he doesn't have the time to spend on my hair because I'm worried about one millimeter of hair length and that I should be paying more, stating that this is bullshit and he's not going to keep doing this, first of all, he set the price, second of all, my hair only takes an hour or less to cut, if it's done right. I feel like he wants to cut my hair to his preference, not mine. He seems to have issues with one requesting how they want their hair done. This stylist needs to go to a customer service class, in case you are not aware, you are there to please the customer not to please yourself. No wonder the only people that go in there, go for threading. I walked out with my hair dripping wet because I was tired of listening to his mouth, no respect for his elders. I guess $25 for a scalp job beats paying $40! I debated going back but thought I would give him another chance, big mistake, I feel like I was set up to get a lecture with no intention of a haircut. I usually go to the one on Ming but decided to give this one a shot and let me tell you it was amazing. As soon as we walked in they greeted us very friendly and continued to be friendly and nice the whole time. I don't want to bash the Ming store but they're no where close to being as nice as this one was. Not to mention I always ask for a clean up not thinner eyebrows and they always thin them! This one actually listened and I've never seen my eyebrows so thick and nice!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone read more
