This place is disgusting. I got a pedicure and the same foot scrubber was reused instead of a fresh one, and they used Dawn dish soap on my feet. They didn't carry a basic popular nail color like OPI Coca-Cola Red a color every nail salon should have. Instead, they had a limited selection of odd off-brand polishes. My nails held up well, but my cuticles were dry within a week. I've been going to Lu Lu for several years through multiple ownership changes. The current pricing is the most expensive and confusing so far. A $55 shellac manicure with builder gel has added fees for wet vs dry manicure, and it doesn't include lotion or massage, making it feel overpriced. The owner said wet manicures are more involved, therefore more costly Does anyone else find this confusing? read more

A friend told me I should try a pedicure so I got one for the first time today. The staff is so friendly and fun! Jenny is absolutely wonderful and so thorough. My feet have never been so clean or soft since I was a newborn. I would give more stars if I could. The salon is so clean and nice as well! This is new management and all of the reviews have been 5 stars since so I can see I'm not alone in my thoughts. I promise if you give this place a try you will not regret it! Was never one to get nails or manicures done until I started going here before my vacation this year. My daughters have always used them for walk ins and recommended I try there as well. Crystal is very sweet and wonderful at her job. I have manicure, pedicures & full sets...shellac will usually keep for 2-3 weeks for me and I am hard on my nails. read more

best place ever! i recently got a medicure and a pedicure and i feel great. My feet feel so much softer. I asked for them to scrub the dry skin off of my feet and they did a great job. I asked for black matte and a dragon design on my nails and the design is so detailed, my hands also feel really soft! I recommend going there. Also the employees are so nice and gentle!! They use only formaldehyde free polish and sterilize their tools in a UV machine. All the techs are kind and friendly, they make you feel welcome and relaxed. I used to go to the owner before them Silver Nails, and they were very good and well practiced, though I had my favorite one I used others and they were good as well. But ever since LULU nails took over, these people have the poorest nail assistant in regards experience and knowledge not to mention attention to what you are saying! Friendly for the most part but do a very CRAPY JOB!! =( the only good one who pays attention to details & do pointy ends nails is the Owner wife Monica and she is Moody as hell, she gets mad if she is given a client when she doesn't want to, and give you attitude the entire time if you were one of these client that had to be with her on her bad term, it just stinks!! You are paying for the service and tipping them too, why should you have to deal with attitude and angry mood?? If she doesn't want business then she shouldn't open a nail salon!! I had to put up with that twice not knowing why she was in such terrible mood? But I found out from her that she didn't want to take a client anymore?? Go figure!! I left and never got back there!! I LOVE THIS PLACE. i always get my acrylic nails and feet done here and i meant to give them a review a long time ago since the new owners took over. I will admit i left when the second owner took over because they did a very horrible job. But i remember to write a review today just because they were telling me about a bad review they got. I have to disagree with Erin who gave them a one star. I will agree that they are nice people and they do get busy. They get busy because they do a VERY NICE and take THEIR TIME on their customers so course the costumers always come back sometimes we have to wait. Com'on if they do such a horrible job then why would they be so busy. (pretty logical) I will admit that i am not one to make appointments and just walk-in when i have time and when they are BUSY they would always GREET ME and ask me what i would like. THEY WOULD NEVER "SHUT ME OUT." They will also tell me truthfully how long it will be for my turn because they don't want me to sit and wait long. They would never take in new walk-in costumer before me but they DO HONOR APPOINTMENT COSTUMERS (which i respect). A few times they would tell me I have to wait because they have appointment costumers coming in right now which is perfectly fine with me. My fault i did not make an appointment. I believe this Erin costumer was just mad because she didn't have an appointment and just walk-in so she had to wait. Actually she might be talking about the wrong nail shop because looks like she is from Texas. I RECOMMEND this nail shop. They will not disappoint.They are professional people that always want to make the costumers happy. They will make you FEEL WELCOME and a few times when i had to wait (NEVER more than 25 minutes), they would do something nice for me like free nail art or even upgrade me to a level two pedicure (even though it was my fault i did make an appointment). it's actually closer to a 3.5 very clean, very nice people w great prices - BUT (there's always a but) they get busy and that means they cut corners and you don't get all you pay for... * first time we went - barely massaged any of us even though we got the upgraded package * second time we went - took forever for my manicure (1.5 hours) * third time we went - barely got a hand massage with my manicure * fourth visit (this last time) - my pedicure left my nails pretty sharp around the edges - like cut my other skin sharp AND for the other pedicure with mine she only did hot stones on one of his legs. I understand they're busy but they should stay careful to make sure their customers get what they pay for. However - it's not terrible enough for me to not say to def go there. Just don't go there before a special occasion if you'd like perfection...you won't get it here :o) read more
