The eye lash extensions were just as exceptional. I have never had eye last extensions but have heard many horror stories from my girlfriends. The eye lashes were individually added to my existing eye lashes so needless to say it is extremely time consuming and exact. Throughout the whole process i was amazingly surprised that i barely felt the lashes being added and she took extreme care that i was comfortable and relaxed. First, they were courteous I actually received a text to remind me of my pending appointment. My very first appointment I arrived 15 minutes past the time I was scheduled to arrive and I take that and I had to reschedule. My bad. The second appointment the lash technician had an emergency and I had to reschedule again, but I received a courteous phone call and I was okay with that. When I finally arrived this Saturday I was quickly wisked away to a sirene pink room with wistfully calming music. I was advised based on my natural lashes what style would look best on me, I told my lash tech that I wasn't trying to look like a run way diva or a drag queen I just wanted to accentuate what I already have and be presentable for my 9 to 5. She made it happen. I have a full set 65 on each lash which I took advantage of with Groupon and I even agreed to the ten dollar upgrade plus a five dollar lash tech fee (I'm not quite sure what that means but I'm okay with it), and a tip. I paid $40.00 in addition to the 45.00 Groupon......but I'm cute and happy, so I'm good. I was not presented with a mandatory gratuity, I had to ask to leave a tip. The first time I had it done, I was so nervous about letting someone put TATTOO NEEDLES into my FACE but Amy's a hands-down pro and my brows look great. I go back every year or two for touch ups, and I always look forward to seeing her. Some people say that having "semi-permanent makeup" is high-maintenance, but I think the total opposite. Amy gives my eyebrows the perfect shape, and I tweeze / wax / trim to the shape she creates and they always look great. I used to wear powder or pencil to darken my brows every day, but it would smudge or I would not do it perfectly, and I felt self conscious about it.
