We went to BLVD to celebrate a very special date: 1 year wedding anniversary. We were looking for something where we could splurge a little and still feel comfortable and, of course, eat good food! BLVD met all of our expectation: food was great, ambiance was fancy and modern, service was attentive and phenomenal (shout out to Lina) and we felt well taken care of. The crab cake is a must! It was full of flavor and went well with the pretzel bread. Onion rings were a little bready, I think I'd go for another side next time. Yes, there will be a next time considering the good experience. Meat (tomahawk) was big, we left half of the portion, that we easily heated up on airfryer the next day and was still tasted juicy and great. For dessert, make sure to get the butter cake. It would be very sweet if it wasn't for the generous portion of fresh strawberries on top, that evened the sweetness out. read more

I had the best steak of my life at BLVD Steak on January 1. It was a Wagyu A5 fillet mignon that literally melted in your mouth. My boyfriend and his friends had the humongous tomahawk steak and he said that it was absolutely excellent, even though mine was a little better believe it or not. We also had some great apps and sides the Caesar salad, the shrimp cocktail had the coldest shrimp I've ever eaten, and wow, was that additive to the joy of tasting shrimp, also the short rib mac & cheese, the shoestring fries, the waffle fries this place is AAA. go here. So, we spent $420.00 on dinner for 2 last night. Only alcohol was 2 beers. We had shrimp cocktail, there were 3 shrimp in total. Crab legs, there were 2 cold crab legs. Bone in rib eye that was way over salted and mediocre and a strip steak that was also under par. I was clearly in the middle of a conversation when my waitress came up to ask me if our meal was good, after answering, she came up AGAIN one moment later to stand there and pour my sprite to refill my cup. It was so invasive for both me and my date. It was not a good experience and I definitely will not be going back. Way over priced and the service was overkill. I felt watched the entire time by both the server and staff. Super weird. The chairs were also not comfortable. We were seated in the back in the middle of a room in waiting room office chairs. I would have expected more comfort for that price as well. Save your money. read more

The servers are incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and can expertly guide you to create the perfect, balanced meal. Unfortunately, the steak I ordered arrived way over-cooked. I asked for medium rare and even the server admitted it was medium, but didn't offer to replace it (it was actually more like medium-well). First time trying Blvd Steak, the current hot spot. The place is beautifully decorated. We arrived early to beat the crowd, but within 30 minutes, it was packed. The vibe was perfect. It seemed like every car pulling up was a Ferrari or Lamborghini. The food was delicious. We ordered the sautéed shrimp, which did not disappoint. We also shared the Australian Wagyu, having them slice it for us. It was incredibly tender and melted in our mouths. For sides, we had their take on street corn and mashed potatoes. The decor was lovely inside with the indoor outdoor atmosphere. The food was good though there are other steakhouses I prefer. I love the prawns there and the sauce was perfect for the dish. We also had the meatballs spaghetti though it tasted good, it was pretty heavy and too rich and creamy. Loved the texture of the meatballs however. We got the steak too and it was nice and soft but I've had better elsewhere. I did really like the lobster mash, that was probably my favourite dish of the night. We shared several steaks, which were beautifully plated and perfectly cut. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and all the food was delicious! Had the most wonderful and fun dinner tonight sitting at the bar with my wife while out celebrating our birthday! Our server David couldn't have been nicer! We had the best time at our Blvd. dinner. The restaurant itself is stunning! And The hospitality is unmatched at this place. Dinner was delish. We had the seared wagyu sashimi and tried one of their new specials. Both were so tasty. We shared everything including our steak, which was perfectly cooked and had truffle butter on top. Our server, Joe was so sweet. He gave great recommendations and checked on us and really seemed like he cared about our experience. I also looked around and the vibe was so great. It is about time Sherman Oaks had a proper steak house with amazing starters, fish and pasta options, and aged beef. My husband and I dropped in for an early dinner and from the front desk to the servers that brought us salt and pepper, the waitress Sunny to the Manager Peter, we were pampered. We asked for table outside although the interior inside is so beautiful. But in the back it wasn't cold and the ceiling retracted to reveal the sky...nice touch! We didn't dive too deep into the menu, but we will next time! We started with the shrimp in a creole sauce and the ahi crudo. I don't know why the bread that comes with the shrimp is so killer, but next time we will ask for 2 pieces of bread and a tad more sauce to sop it up with. My husband also got the Caesar salad and he demolished it. The then split the 16 oz dry aged rib eye with all 4 sauces, béarnaise, chimichurri, peppercorn & bordelaise, mashed potatoes, broccolini & chipotle-lime corn. We will be going back to try even more of them. Almost everything was light on the salt, so we will ask for that modification the next time. I gave it a 4 because there is room for improvement. We had to send the steak back because it was overcooked. Asked for medium which is supposed to come with a cool pink center, it was gray and well-done. They went to fix it and were so kind, but after 15/20 min it came to the table black and blue rare. I said I would just take it home and heat it up because we needed to get home to the doggies. But they were amazing and actually took that off the check. They also offered a dessert, but by then I had eaten up all the sides and was full with the apps too. Went for a friend's bday dinner. The food was not as good as I expected. My friend asked for her steak medium well but had to return it. It looked more rare and had blood which is an issue because my friend is pregnant and also specifically asked they cooked medium well. The server didn't check in on us much and I even saw her take a sip of wine by the register which explained a lot. For the price I paid I was let down and probably wouldn't really go back. The two stars are for the staff and the amazing service you receive when you go there. The main ingredient of any plate you order is salt! They add so much salt to the food that you can't taste what you're eating. We ordered a few appetizers and all super salty to the point that we kept drinking and ordering more drinks. Wait, I think that's what they're going for. They make the food so salty so people order drinks after drinks. We then ordered steak which is what this place is known for but then again so much salt on the steak that I couldn't really tell what it tasted like. Don't forget about the overpriced everything. Finally got back to give BLVD Steak a second try after the first disappointing visit. Firstly I have to say Thankyou to the manager Ian for reaching out after my first review and suggesting we come back and give them another go. It showed a rare dedication to excel and make sure the customer is happy. This time the restaurant do not disappoint. From being seated right away for our reservation, the great bustling atmosphere, and just general great vibes of this place, I'm happy and proud to have it in our neighborhood. Again the service is very prompt, our server Will was super friendly, and his wine recommendation was spot on. Cocktails are great too, watermelon margarita and blood orange mule are tasty. We again had the crab cake which really is a standout, super fresh, chunks of crab, and a great sauce that is not too overpowering or sweet. The sautéed shrimp is also a great tasty starter. Again I tried the bone in rib eye, medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection, and a better cut than the last time. After finding the sauces a little mild and disappointing for my liking last time I opted for the BLVD butter on the steak which while still a little mild was a tasty addition. Steak could probably use a little more seasoning, salt etc, but still great. Next time I'd like to explore the Wagyu for a little more flavor maybe. My wife had the sea bass which with the golden outer was very tasty as an alternative to steak. The lobster mash was tasty with nice big chunks of lobster and the smashed broccoli was a nice addition although could maybe use a little more butter, seasoning and garlic to make it special, but still nice. Again the service, and vibes are stellar and I'm looking forward to visiting again to try some other options. Also great bar to hang and snack and drink. Thanks again Ian! read more

Caesar salad, bone in steak, baked potato, and creamed spinach. Absolutely everything was cooked to perfection. I really do think this steak was the best I ever had in my life!!!
