5 stars for me !!! Me and my friend had a really great time for sure!!!food was very delicious!!! Like really flavorful and good portions!!! I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side pancake and I'm giving it 10/10. The shrimp and grits were seasoned perfectly and you can ask for the gravy on the side!!! The pancake was so good and buttery well worth the carbs. I don't even really care for pancakes but I heard the hype so I had to try it!!! And yes the hype was adequate!! Happy I tried it!! My friend ordered the chicken Po boy and said it was on point!!p For drinks I tried the vanilla latte with cognac which, Dominic hooked up, very good bartender and very welcoming and amicable!! We also ordered the MILE-HIGH CLUB MIMOSA PACKAGE that came with prosecco, which I love because I don't drink mimosas but prosecco is my favorite!!! This is well worth it and only $45. The service was exceptional !! I had the pleasure to have Dominic upstairs as I waited, and when we sat down, we had Kingston as our server and he was amazing! He always came back to check on us and suggested really good things off the menu. I highly recommend getting him as a server!!! The ambiance is very modern-upscale and I like it!!! It's a vibe for sure. They have outside seating as well and upstair seating with another bar and on weekends a Dj comes. It is also another bar downstairs as well that's cute! The valet is $10.00, which is not bad!! Overall, my experience was great!! I already made reservations to come back and cannot wait to try more items and drinks off the menu. This is def a place for girls brunch, date, and celebrations!! -Marshay D.

Pretty cool spot with two very different vibes depending on where you sit. Upstairs is really loud during brunch, while downstairs has a much more mellow atmosphere. All of the food was great, but everything came out at different times. There was probably a 10 minute window between the first plate arriving and the last, which was a little odd when everyone is trying to eat together. They were unfortunately out of all the champagne I wanted to buy, but they did offer to discount some different bottles, which was a nice gesture. Overall, I'd probably come back at some point, but it didn't absolutely blow me away. Solid spot with good food, just nothing that made me feel like I had to come back immediately.

If you're looking for a brunch spot for you and your besties or a cute brunch date with your boo, Brunch & Sip is definitely worth checking out! My husband and I came for Sunday brunch with reservations, and we only waited about five minutes before our table was ready. We were seated upstairs, and while both levels had a fun, lively atmosphere, upstairs is definitely where the vibe is. That's where the DJ was, and the energy was on point. One thing I thought was a nice touch was that they had staff walking around with complimentary cocktail samples. They were featuring the Hugo Spritz. It was a little too sweet for my taste, but hey...free liquor doesn't go to waste. Our waiter was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We started with the Hot Butter Lobster Toast $36. For our entrees, I ordered Cause Waffles Shouldn't Have All the Fun: scratch-made pancakes topped with Napa Valley Farm chicken wings tossed in a spicy WhistlePig barrel-aged maple drizzle $28. My husband ordered the Catfish & Grits $26. The lobster toast was good, but not $36 good. It came with four tiny pieces of toast, and for that price, I expected a little more. My husband really enjoyed his catfish and grits. Now...let's talk about my meal because I'm still processing it. It was pancakes and wings. In my world, pancakes automatically come with syrup, right? Well...mine didn't. When my plate hit the table, I immediately looked around thinking, "Umm...where's the syrup?" The pancakes were dry, and I found myself scanning the room trying to flag someone down before they got cold. When I finally asked for syrup, I got a look that almost made me question whether syrup even belongs on pancakes. Maybe that's just how this dish is served, but if you're ordering it and you're a syrup-on-your-pancakes person like me, ask for syrup when you place your order. It'll save you from watching your pancakes get cold while you wait. The wings, though? Those were really good. We also shared the Mile High Club Mimosa Package $45, which comes with a bottle of Avissi Prosecco and carafes of pineapple, orange, cranberry, and grapefruit juice. Definitely a fun option if you're sharing. Overall, I had a good experience. The atmosphere was great, the service was solid, and even though my meal had me scratching my head a little, there are several other things on the menu I want to try. I'll definitely be back. Oh, they have valet parking for $10, which made parking super easy.

Brunch & Sip was SO good! We came for Sunday brunch and everything from the food to the atmosphere was on point. The vibes were amazing, the music was good, and it was just such a fun brunch experience. We tried the Sidecar Tree, fish & grits, crab cakes, lobster mac & cheese, and pancakes, and honestly everything was delicious. The lobster mac & cheese and fish & grits were definitely standouts for me! Oh, and the lobster deviled eggs were amazing. They are not on the menu, but definitely order them. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the menu and the overall experience. Great food, great drinks, and great vibes. Definitely a new Studio City brunch spot worth checking out. 10/10 we'll absolutely be back! and of course the service was phenomenal!

Wow if I could rate this place 10 stars I would. Absolutely loved it here. Upon arrival we were greeted my valet which I believe is 10$. The hostesses at the door were so nice & welcoming, Gretch & Lidia have the greatest customer service. Lidia was our server & she was very attentive and very helpful with the foods on the menu. We all enjoyed our food. Drinks were amazing also. We had some mimosas and a margarita tree and between us 3 we shared & it was the perfect amount of alcohol. They have upstairs area with DJ who was playing great music! Definitely brunch style ambiance. Would definitely return!

Bomb breakfast burritos except the sauce was on the ends of the burrito which is bizarre

Welcome to the valley!! The food good that I'd come back just to try more items on the menu. Everything we had was delicious, and there were so many other dishes I already want to order next time. Except the breakfast burrito was interesting, it was technically a "wet burrito" but the middle of the burrito was facing up and the ends of the burrito were sitting in the sauce. After we asked for extra sauce (since it was at the bottom ends of the burrito) we soon realized when the bill came it was an additional $3 for a mini side of sauce. That also look 10 minutes to get to our table prior to asking for it. The drinks definitely didn't disappoint either, the frozen margarita tower was such a fun touch (HIGH ALCOHOL FAVOR, the seasonal flavors got masked by the tequila and citrus) and a huge hit with our group! Also the champagne bottle order, that comes with 4 different juices. We sat outside on the ground floor patio and loved the vibe, but I noticed they also have indoor tables, bar seating, kitchen counter seating, and an upstairs patio with its own bar. I already know I'm requesting the upstairs patio next time with the DJ!! The service was great. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, but ahead of sitting down we had reminded the waiter that we were celebrating a birthday and there was zero acknowledgment of it. That was a bummer. We're locals and love to support our local businesses.

Loved this place! Modern, colorful, super friendly staff, and great outdoor seating (plus an upstairs DJ on weekends). The lobster mac, chicken biscuit with gravy, and mimosas were fantastic. But the blackened salmon and shrimp was hands down my personal favorite. Hats off to the chef on this one!!! It was a hot day with a few flies, but totally not their fault. The food and vibes easily made up for it. 10/10, will definitely be back!

I forgot to leave my review but I stopped by for brunch this past Father's Day. I had just came across a post of them on IG when a mutual friend posted their grand opening I believe it was. Being that it was in the valley and I've been getting asked about brunch spots; I did my due diligence to see what they were talmbout lol. There is valet and street parking available. I believe a lot of people parked behind the building in what appeared to be somewhat of an alley. Some may have even parked in the shopping center across from Firestone. I parked on the street where the shopping center was and walked down to the restaurant. Upon walking up I immediately was feeling the vibes. It was a Sunday, so a lot of Black Folks were looking their best. Which I have to applaud. There's patio seating out front prior to entering the restaurant. Appeared to be full as Peale were making reservations and waiting to be seated. I was able to walk in and get escorted to a bar section right in front of the kitchen; where I was then able to see the chef and cooks cooking. The view complemented the vibe. The ambiance was extraordinary. The second floor is accompanied by another bar amongst tables, a beautiful view and a DJ. Now, I didn't receive the best service when it came to receiving my first drink and my food. I ordered a "King Status" which is their version of a Sidecar. The drink was great but it took about 15-20 mins to receive it. I ordered the lamp chops with potatoes for there and the catfish and grits to go. I was hoping I was still going to have my drink to sip along with it but unfortunately, I finished it because it took too long for the meal to come out. I then ordered the "Birds of a Feather" to kill some more time as I waited. By the time I received my order; it was brought out to me by a different young lady who had packed everything to go. At this point I was really disappointed with the service. She then asked me if I wanted her to put it on a plate and I declined. The lamb chops and potatoes were great in my opinion. They were flavorful and seasoned pretty well. Nor were they tough. The potatoes were seasoned well also. However, the catfish was fried in what appeared to be dirty grease or oil. The fish wasn't overcooked but appeared to look as if it was. I forgot to take a pic of the grits but they were really good. Despite the lack of no cheese nor chives, I still found them to be enjoyable with the catfish. I shared my thoughts with the waitress. She was very understanding. She also provided clarity as to why I wasn't receiving the best service. As a way to make amends she was able to remove both of my drinks. So I got to drink for free in a sense. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner or one of the owners, Brandon. Very cool guy indeed. Much respect. He was more than open to hearing about my experience. He took accountability and apologized on his staff's behalf. He too also provided clarity to the situation and gave me his number. Overall, I enjoyed the drinks. I liked the food. The ambiance and vibes were great. I'm a definitely return for another visit and keep sharing this spot with others. Just because I didn't have the best first time experience doesn't mean someone else wouldn't and that's doesn't mean my next visit will be the same. Keep a positive attitude. Stay blissful and productive.

A friend and I dined here on a weekday early morning. We arrived at approximately 8:30 which is great because the place opens at 8. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. We were promptly seated inside. Our waiter Scotty was very polite. Had a great relaxed professional demeanor and was very helpful with the menu. We ordered the -blackened salmon and shrimp 9/10 (the salmon tasted better than the shrimp) -Catfish and grits 10/10 (great flavor profile if you eat them both together) -fish and chips 8/20 ( fish was great) -crab cakes with a very tasty tartar sauce10/10 (loved! full of crab perfectly cooked) -Fried chicken biscuit 9/10 (really enjoyed the sandwich definitely enough for two. The hot honey syrup was a great touch. The gravy was amazing. I ended up taking a separate container of gravy home with me. so delicious! Rosemary garlic potatoes -10/10 (fresh crispy and perfectly seasoned) For drinks we ordered: Yesss Kween 8/10 Butterfly water 8/10 We ordered a couple of glasses of Prosecco to end our dining experience, which was the perfect touch! Our waiter was very helpful throughout the entire dining experience. He was very comfortable with casual conversation and made sure he checked up on us throughout. When I go back, I will definitely if he's on shift and request him. Scotty, you rock! The decor of the restaurant is very comfortable, yet vibey and inviting. I love the deep green and lilac color scheme. I would love to come back during the evening to see what the mood is like. We were told there was an upstairs area that has a Dj and a small outdoor patio area on Fridays and weekends. I did not go check it out myself, but I did see a few people tour the area. As much as I love a single restroom (main dining) I can only imagine when the restaurant gets crowded. There would be a line. But it was very clean, well maintained, and decorated.

Was looking for a new brunch spot, and saw the great reviews for Brunch & Sip, so we decided to give it a try. Three of us valet parked ($10) but the 4th kept looking for parking and we were not permitted to sit down until all of us were there. She finally arrived, and we were seated in the main downstairs restaurant. Two on the bench and 2 in chairs, but one of the chairs was missing. 3 of us sat on the bench, and chatted, looked at the menu etc. Finally a table next to us cleared, and they bussed it, but didn't offer us a chair. We finally asked our server (who knew we were missing a seat) if we could steal one from the empty table next to us. She got it, and we proceeded as planned. There were 3 people at the bar/table right by us who were super loud and conducting a FaceTime call! We could barely hear ourselves. But it was a fun energy, and we placed our orders starting with a champagne juice flight. It comes with a full bottle of champagne, and small carafes of orange, grapefruit, cranberry, and pineapple juices. A mix & match mimosas bar. Very fun. The food was absolutely delicious. My shrimp & grits were so good! I just wish there had been a little more. Compared to my friend's meals, it was like a snack. But again, delicious!! Two had the fried chicken & French toast (instead of waffles, because our server recommended the French toast.) They were so happy with their meals. I had a bite of the French toast, without anything on it or with it, and it was amazing. The last friend had the typical breakfast plate, and seemed very happy with it. All in all, it was a great experience. Once the people at the bar left, the noise went to typical restaurant level. The servers couldn't have been nicer, and I'd definitely return.

The food was delicious, although the portions felt a bit small for the price. The atmosphere was great as well. We sat at the bar facing the open kitchen, and it was really interesting to watch the main chef work. He had an incredible presence and clearly knew what he was doing--and it definitely showed in the food. The only downside was the service. The waitresses weren't very attentive and seemed to be doing very little at times. With a little more attention to service, this place could be so much better overall.

Came to a celebratory brunch here last Sunday. A beautiful location filled with beautiful people. Laughter and smiles flowing...along with the drinks. They make their Bloody Mary mix in house, therefore I had to play. It was good. The olives, celery and bacon are a nice touch. But I think next time I must inquire about what kind of vodka is being used. The music and decor....tight. Now down to the most important part of Brunch....the food. Our table ordered... The fried lobster tail served lemon ricotta pancakes. Pancakes Grits Crab cakes A lobster roll And three sides of chicken wings...over time. I don't really eat chicken but I heard the praise and caught a whiff of the glaze ...so I tried one. The last batch was overcooked...maybe that was the universes's way of telling me I shouldn't have had chicken. Consistency is key. But the glaze is so darn good...it's even good when it's a little charred. I was told the grits were good. They looked delish but I didn't try them. The pancakes were good. I'm tough on pancakes so I'll leave it there. It's hard to meet the high expectations of what a lemon ricotta pancake should feel and taste like. I personally wasn't a fan. The crab cakes were a tad too earthy and herby for me. I like my crab cakes, crabby. The tarragon was strong in these ones. Whew. Now ...the dish I would not do again....the lobster "roll". It should be called Splash of lobster on mini brioche bricks. I didn't want to be the one...so I asked for salt and pepper and popped those little hard bites in my mouth. But...no. NO. I must add, I'm gonna go back and try other dishes. So I'm not done here. But honestly I wouldn't even accept the lobster "roll" as a free appetizer. It oozed disappointment.

A glass of Prosecco! Nice and cold.

We had an amazing time at Brunch & Sip. The food was great and so was the service. We ordered the American Breakfast and the Shrimp Watermelon Salad. We sat outside and our server, Scottie, came outside over 10 times to keep giving us water. He was truly amazing and so nice. The food had a depth of flavor I'm not used to experiencing. We also ordered some drinks and those were great. You can tell everything is prepared with care and intention. We will absolutely come here again. Also, the ambiance is relaxed and classy. Very grown. 10/10 no notes!!

Consisting of oyster and king trumpet mushrooms, the dish had a nice "meaty" taste, ironic since it's a vegetarian dish that is cooked in a plant based butter. You don't miss the lack of meat at all. For entrees, my friend got the poke bowl, which I did not tasted so can't attest to it, but my friend said it was good. I had the spicy pasta, which was amazing. The campanelle pasta was cooked perfectly, holding the savory, slightly spicy corn-based cream sauce in all its luscious folds. Along with roasted poblano peppers, sautéed mushrooms, marinated artichokes, and tomatoes, the ingredients all worked so well together to make a truly yummy dish. We also shared our desserts: My friend got a scoop of the vanilla fleu de sal ice cream while I opted for a scoop of the dark chocolate. Both were good, but I liked the dark chocolate as it had actual pieces of dark chocolate. Our server Kayla was amazing. So friendly and on it! She constantly checked in on us, and made sure our drink glasses were never empty. Today is just the first day of dineLA, so plenty of more opportunities to go back and try some of the other options offered!

This place came up several times when I researched on great restaurants that have excellent vibes…read moreand great food. Although it didn't really necessarily show up as "the best food in LA area" but all the reviews were so good so I became curious to try. Mainly the reviews also raved about the vibes, services, and live music. Well, they were not wrong! It was fairly easy to make a reservation through Opentable, and I made a reservation for two people for my birthday dinner on Sunday night. I put on the notes that it's my bday so it'll be nice to get a nice table near the stage. I didn't have a high expectation, cos I'd never been to the place and I didn't make a call or anything. But wow, they definitely gave us a great table at the very front! As many reviewers had mentioned, the acoustic of the restaurant is really great. You can barely hear other people's conversations. There's a live jazz band playing, so you can really enjoy that. Although it made it slightly hard to hear what other nearby people say to you either, haha. Our server Dawson was a really great one! Very nice, very informative and just has a great vibe that made you feel comfortable to converse with him. We also asked if he could take a picture of us and he went above and beyond with taking our pictures haha. He took the table lamp as our additional "lighting". Such a great service! Dawson also made a few suggestions on food. We ordered the milk bun (so great!), the tiger prawns tostada (omg, my favorite of the night!), braised lamb pasta, pork belly risotto, and roasted broccolini. Everything was really good and really filled us up! We also got the "smokin old fashioned" and "Wake up and repeat" cocktails. It was plenty of food for us so we asked for a check. Dawson asked if we wanted a dessert but we were already full. He asked if it's ok to give us a lil treat for my bday. It was a really nice dessert :). Oh I forgot to mention that they also put a small bday card on the table for me. The prices of food and drinks are on the higher sides, but I feel like it's worth it due to the live music and the vibe. It easily covers the entertainment part. We definitely will go back and recommend this place for anyone who's looking into a nice date night or to celebrate something special. I was informed that Friday has more of a "party vibe" here, although it's still a jazz performance. Sunday feels more laid back :) Overall I'm really pleased by this place. I used to think that I don't care that much about excellent service as long as the food is great, but I was wrong. The excellent hospitality just made the night even better than expected. Thank you for making my bday dinner memorable.

This place was on my list and we happen to pop in at 5pm but reservations are highly recommended…read more It was a little difficult to find because it's just a door without any signs, but I saw the valet guy pop out so we figured it was the entrance. The usually have a live band after 7pm and the sound in the resturant is amazing. It's like a recording studio. The staff was very friendly! The decor and ambiance was also impressive. Definitely swanky but down to earth vibes. I got the rasberry beret cocktail and it was different but fabulous. Not sure how else to describe it. It was refreshing. We got the tiger prawns and it was presented as a toasta, which had a great flavor and texture. The apple salad was also refreshing and a good portion to share between 2 people. The broccolini was cooked perfectly and my favorite after the tiger prawns was the Dungeness crab pasta. It had uni on top! The uni elevated the dish, and honestly there were a good amount of crab meat in the dish. Overall well balanced and creamy. The 2 of us left full and satisfied. Highly recommend this place for a date night. There's also plenty of street parking when we went but there is also valet for $15.
