The pizza was delicious, the service was quick and friendly . The pasta we got was... alright but everything else was great. Loved the music they were playing. Valet parking or you can find street parking pretty easily.

Let's start off with the positives, because there isn't many! Our server Gian was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu! The hostess was also very friendly 10/10 on them. We walked in and were greeted by this rude man with a bad attitude named Ryan, really not sure what his problem was but if he's not happy serving he should go work in the kitchen. Ambiance is good they were playing great music from Future and Drake. Food was mediocre at best and makes olive garden seem like a gourmet restaurant. They sell a 6oz strawberry matcha for 10$ which tastes terrible. The meatballs were flavorful but the accompanying garlic bread was burnt and flavorless. I did enjoy the spaghetti limone, but the fusilli pasta (one of their most popular dishes) was very acidic. It was a fun experience and most of the staff is very friendly! However for the price point I was expecting a little more.

10/10 service, always. Food is always delicious. I have the same order that I never steer from. One of my favorite restaurants for a reason! Always hits. Anything you try will be delicious. Must orders: chicken cutlet, house salad, bolognese, matcha affogato. music is always a vibe. Parking sucks but theres valet.

My partner and I come here because the pizza and pastas here are delicious! Food: Great! I am a big pizza/pasta fanatic and their pizza and pastas are incredible! I do find that sometimes, I find the pastas a little too salty for my tasting. Overall, it's nice to try the different pastas because the flavors are a bit different and I like the texture to the pastas! Service: Incredible! I always feel like every time we visit, the servers here are always on top and have great vibes! They make the experience so nice and I love having conversations with them! Ambiance: Pretty cool inside! Very spacious and clean every time I visit. I also love how the place mats are little coloring books and they give crayons to color the mats. Overall, I like this place alot :)

Studio City, CA dinner with my kids. i've heard this restaurant before and the good food they serve. so, on a Tuesday night we came here for dinner. the place is small but lively, with a full bar and cozy neighborhood vibe. reservations are recommended. valet is $8, but street parking is good for 2 hours from 8am to 9pm. what we order: - spicy fusilli - gem lettuce - corn agnolotti - roman gladiator pizza everything tasted good and delicious - the fusilli and gem lettuce had a nice kick, the agnolotti was creamy and sweet, and the pizza is loaded. the only downside is the pasta portions: definitely on the smaller size, not really shareable for 2 adults. service was friendly and food came out quickly. it is a great spot for casual dinner, especially if you're a vegetarian.

I went to Jon & Vinny's with a friend from church before heading to see Hell's Kitchen at The Pantages. It was such a vibe. I loved the early 2000's hits that were playing on the speaker. Our server was great and was able to give us great recommendations. We had the spicy fusilli, which had a great flavor, but wasn't quite spicy in our opinion. The red pepper flakes helped. We also had the little nats pizza which included pepperoni, caciocavallo, tomato, and oregano. It was delicious! Just those two items alone was enough for us to share and enjoy. I also love that they have paper placemats and crayons for you to color. Even as an adult, it's nice to be able to color every once in awhile. Fun place! Also the bathrooms were clean!

Visited Jon & Vinny's for the first time and was honestly happy with my experience! The hostess with the purple hair was very sweet. We came in as a walk in and were told that all the inside tables were taken or had a reservation coming in soon, so we were okay with sitting outside. The only downside about this was that there was an absurd amount of flies outside. This made our lunch not as enjoyable as it could have been. My suggestion is to have the outdoor space covered entirely. Aside from this, our waitress was kind and happy to help when we asked her for suggestions on food. For the food: The gem salad and garlic bread were a little too spicy for my liking, but the flavor was good. The Brooklyn dodger was delicious and cooked to perfection. I liked the spicy fusilli, but as others have mentioned, it was small and nothing too special. Overall, we enjoyed the vibes here. They placed good music and we even got cookies after! The snickerdoodle and confetti were sooo soft.

FOOD I was pleasantly surprised to eat at this place. I'd heard great things about it, and was very happy with all of the food I tried. EVERY FOOD ITEM WAS DELICIOUS: We had the strawberry bread pudding and our PHENOMENAL server Yaani recommended adding soft serve which was a great choice 5/5 Brooklyn dodger 5/5 O"s cooto 5/5 recommend add honey and ranch to drizzle which was the perfect combo (which Yaani suggested we get with it) Mozzarella sticks 5/5 DRINKS We had the Paloma which was wack Bees knees 5/5 Americano 4/5 SERVICE A1 5/5 We were late to our reservation but didn't have to wait which was so nice. We'd originally made it to sit outside, but they were able to accommodate us for inside seating instead. The hostess was kind and helped us to our booth. Most importantly, our server Yaani gave some of the best service I've received in quite a while regarding her attentiveness, anticipating needs, playful banter, warm and friendly energy, and she literally read my mind and made recommendations on MULTIPLE occasions. She checked in just the right amount of times and always at the right time. She literally deserves to be in upper level management with her knowledge and talents including customer satisfaction. AMBIANCE The place was nice and classy, I enjoyed the trendy vibe. Overall, I was glad to let the manager Michelle know how exceptional the entire experience was and that I'll be so happy to come back soon. Go check out this place and enjoy some amazing food. Request Yaani and get next level service.

I've heard great things about Jon & Vinny's for a long time, and this was my first visit. It definitely lived up to the hype. We went around 11 AM, which worked out perfectly because they were still serving breakfast (the menu switches at 11:30). Based on Yelp, I thought breakfast might be limited to just their breakfast pizza, but I was pleasantly surprised by how many options they actually have. The breakfast menu includes avocado toast, a variety of egg dishes, a la carte items, breakfast pizzas, and a solid drink menu with lots of coffee and non-coffee options. We ordered the avocado toast, pancakes, and a breakfast pizza, and everything was spot on... super satisfying. For drinks, we had espresso, a vanilla latte, matcha drinks, and their strawberry lemonade, and all of them were great. You can't go wrong with the beverage selection here. We sat inside, which has a cool, modern vibe, and I loved that the placemats double as coloring sheets and they give you crayons... it's a fun touch. There's also a really cute outdoor patio, and with the perfect weather, either option would've been great. The location is another plus. It's walking distance to Tujunga Avenue, which has lots of boutiques and other restaurants, making it a great spot to eat before or after a stroll. I'll definitely be back to try their lunch or dinner next time.

I think I found my new favorite restaurant! We didn't have a reservation so we ended up sitting at the bar but the experience was still a 10/10. The staff was super friendly and attentive and very helpful when it came to asking for recommendations. The gem salad was so top tier it's honestly a must have. We ordered the mozzarella sticks , the spicy fusilli , the chicken wings , and the white bronco. I would pass on the spicy fusilli next time for sure but everything else was great. The ambience was amazing and they had great music playing , it definitely creates a great atmosphere!! 10/10 love this place

Pesto Radiatori ($18.75): The sauce perfectly coated every inch of that pasta, a must order.

Jon & Vinny's has definitely been the biggest surprise of the year in the fact that in changed my mind on Italian fare. The vibe is casual -- the music loud, and table mats ready to be colored. We made a same-day reservation on their site for 6 at 430PM. Service was fast and attentive -- here's what we ordered: House salad ($16.50): A bright bite to awaken the palate. Highly recommend. Mozzarella sticks ($17.95): Good, the marinara sauce was great -- it came with 6 (enough for each of us to have 1) Chicken wings ($28.75): Buffalo. Ridiculously expensive, but good (but probably not what you're here for we were just craving wings). Pesto Radiatori ($18.75): The sauce perfectly coated every inch of that pasta, a must order. Spicy Fusili ($23.95): Savory, with a nice kick. Wish the portion was bigger. "little nats" ($25.95): It's fancy pepperoni pizza, loved it! "roman gladiator" ($27.50): Not my favorite. Maybe I don't like bacon enough... Grand Total: ~ $173.09 (tax included)

Was finally able to try this spot for dinner the other night! We had a late reservation but the service was still great. We ordered the Romain gladiator which has pepperoni, bacon and ham. It was really yummy in flavor but only serves about 2 people. We also got the spaghetti limone, it was delicious. Very citrusy and creamy with a crunchy bread crumb topping. Again, the serving only serves about 1-2 people. Overall, the service was amazing! Staff was super friendly as well. I really think the portion sizes could be a bit bigger for the price. They also charge for all sides of ranch and honey so make sure to ask for those to go as well! The parking in this area can also be really annoying. I would love to come back and try their breakfast.

Had an excellent meal here. Came on a Tuesday night and all the tables were full, but we were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. Make a res in advance if you can! Service was great, vibe was hip, and the food was delicious. Plates can actually be shared, the portions are better than I remembered. I love their spicy fusilli pasta so much! The pizzas are delightfully cheesy and the crust is perfectly crisp on the edges. I really have no complaints. Also, probably had the best dirty martini here I've had in a while. Kudos to the bartenders! Lemon pasta didn't have an overwhelmingly strong lemon flavor, but the sauce was good. Little gem salad was refreshing and I loved the little spicy crunchy bits on it. Flavors were well balanced across the board. I'm back on the Jon and Vinny's train and look forward to coming back again soon!

Cocktails are slightly limited as it is not a full bar, but they do have options. The frozen Spritz was very flavorful, more fruit forward and would be perfect in a hot day. The Nonna's Medicine had a nice complexity to it with the flavors peeking their heads out at different times through the process. For food we started with the crudo, mussels and grilled oysters. The crudo was very fresh and had a lot going on with it's simplicity. Just a great bite. The mussels were decent but really didn't stand out in any way. The grilled oysters, however, had flavor and texture, with a Parmesan crust on top and the oyster and juice underneath. Very good! For pizza, they are almost like little personal focaccia pizzas, cut into four slices. We tried the mushroom, pepperoni and white pizzas. The mushroom has a garlic cream sauce and herb mix with Parmesan. You definitely get the mushrooms, as they are ample, but they do not over power the pizza. Just a good blend of flavors in each bite. The white comes with Japanese potato, fennel, mozzarella and pesto. Another really great bite with the potatoes not overpowering everything else. Finally, the pepperoni with spicy honey. The spicy honey is more like spicy marinara honey sauce, but it works. Could have used more of that as it came on the side. The pizza itself, with mozzarella and pecorino tasted great. Maybe that focaccia is the move? Overall, De La Nonna did not disappoint. Everything was very nice, and sitting on the patio when the weather is perfect is always a move. I would say to skip the mussels but, everything else, give it a try!

In the same vein, we stuck with a similar style of food and ended up at Propaganda. There was little to no wait, which was pleasant. It was a nice day and we decided to eat outside. The focaccia bread and salad came out first, and both were good. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread, though my only qualms were that the bread was quite oily and the butter and salt were just a tad bit too salty for my liking. The Insalata Mista salad was solid. Good flavor, good dressing-to-salad ratio, and a surprisingly good portion size. As far as pizza goes, the Margherita was good. Tasty, moist, and a nice crunch on the crust. I found it to be enjoyable, though I may have enjoyed more fresh basil on this. I did find it better than the Boscaiola. I got the black truffle honey add on, and it does not go well on this pizza in my opinion. There was virtually no taste of truffle to me, and more of just an aftertaste of oily sweet honey. This was a miss. It's hard to say whether the base pizza was good without it because the flavor profile was just too overpowered by the aftertaste. The Arts District is definitely coming up with new upscale dining establishments, and I'm there for it. I think this is a solid addition. Though this is a wine bar, I don't generally drink, so my review is based purely on the food. Results of their drinks, which is quite an extensive list, may be to your liking! They do have an inexpensive three wine flight, for reference!

Nice name, but when I see menus of any cuisine that go out of their way to offer vegan and gluten free versions of everything, it tends to put me off. Now that I've tried their fantastic pizza, my only sadness is that they are located in DTLA, where finding parking even to run in and pick up things to go is always difficult. So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. I also came when they were about to close and already had to wait like 15min longer than they said so there's not even anything else open this late for me to find other food. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. My friend and I ordered the melons appetizer which was refreshing and phenomenal - who knew pickles and sweet melon went together so beautifully?! For pizza, we ordered a slice of "Tomato Slice" with ricotta and a slice of pepperoni. We both loved the Tomato Slice but my friend thought the pepperoni was just ok. For dessert, my friend ordered the Princess Cake. Fortunately she let me try a bite so I can say it was moist and delicious! I got the coconut cream pie which was lovely with some mango on top, and to go, I snagged a slice of the stone fruit "slab" - they literally took off the "sold out" sign at opening and I immediately told our server I wanted some to take home! I tried it the next day, slightly warmed up and it was amazing! This spot is definitely worth the trek and parking struggle that is Silver Lake!
