Loved the look of this place, but it is among the loudest restaurants I've ever been. Table we sat, I had my back to a hightop in the bar and the women talking to each other sounded like they were on each side of my head and shouting. Ugh! Server, Yvette, was absolutely stellar! Attentive, great suggestions and very friendly. Food was mostly good, but the two apps I'd pass on. Grilled Oysters were salt bombs, and Scallop Aguachile was ridiculously citrus-forward and all I could taste. Components were good, but just too much lime for my tastes. Tacos were great! Especially the Pork, and the Octopus. Mushroom was good, but I'd pass on it if we returned. My wife got the Chicharron del Parque (Ahi Tuna) and that was tasty, too. Drinks were all good. read more

Top 50 in the North America? Bottom 50 is a more apt rating. I say this because glorifying a terrible bar reinforces bad hospitality. But who am I? Well, I'm a cocktail connoisseur (read: drunk) who makes a point of hitting as many of the top 50 in the country and the world as I possible can. There have been some standouts (T+E, Sip, and Double Chicken for example), some head scratchers (superbueno), but very little as mystifying as how this place got on the top 50. And I even know some of the bartenders, so it's really gotta suck for me to slag off on it. So . . . what's so bad? Christ. Inattentive hostesses who get REALLY rude when you try to go to the bag after they ignore you. "You can't just sit at the bar! We're an establishment!" "Hunny, I've wandered into tayer, EMP, NoMad, and a whole holy host of bars better than this without a res or even a nod from a hostess and the only thing that's been said was 'welcome! What can I get you to drink?' But YOU'RE and establishment ok.". (Alright, EMP smiled and nodded as I pointed to the bar because they have manners, but they know me) Then they jerked me around with seating, and food, and drinks. It was pretty much impossible to actually get anything. I've never had to work so hard to give a "top 50" bar my money. Eventually, I was seated at the bar (after a few seat reassignments), and the bartender was about as hospitable and helpful as the aforementioned hostesses... and when my drink finally showed up it was boring. At best. I paid. I left. And I never came back. The fact that this truly awful establishment made the top 50 makes me wonder how they're chosen. Truly awful. read more

The restaurant itself is super cute inside with great vibes, and I loved the street Daisy is on, so many spots nearby I want to come back and check out. Food-wise...kind of underwhelming. I had no idea the English translation of "margarita" is and that is why this wonderful Mexican eatery is called Daisy. Chef Alan Sanz has put together a great menu and and Beverage Director Max Reis has bought every tequila known to man I think and can they make a margarita. Wow. The place is ever so pretty and you can sit at the bar or dine at a super comfortable table. The place is clean and so nicely decorated, we just love it. The service is perfect. You get happy servers who can't wait to help you and can list most of the tequilas they serve. A lot of people go there to drink and get a starter, but they are nice and the place is never too loud--it it not quiet, but it is nice. The food is great and they have a diverse menu of great food. Sometimes we go there with friends and just order every starter they have. They are all great. The half dozen oysters are always great and you must tried their grilled oysters. Their Tostada de Atun has smashed avocado, yellowfin, chintextle aioli, and wonderful hoja santa. Also try the Aguachile de Callo which is made from great scallops, aguachile verde, seasonal fruit, and some citrus. There is nothing there not to love. read more

I am a big fan of Daisy's sister restaurant in Los Feliz, Mírate, so I was excited to hear that this restaurant group had a new restaurant. We came on a Saturday night in January after making an online reservation that was easy to get. Street parking in the neighborhood was pretty easy to get. When we arrived, the restaurant was thrumming with energy and already super busy. Someone greeted us immediately and took us to our seat, which was a small booth in the back of the restaurant. The decor here felt like a trendy log cabin. In terms of ambiance, it feels really different to Mirate, but I thought it was really fun. Our server was very attentive and welcoming. He gave us a few recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed before we needed it. We ordered five dishes to share between us, including dessert, one taco, one noodle dish, one ceviche, and chips and guac. I would have to say that though nothing was terrible, nothing really stood out either. In terms of food taste and quality at the time of my visit, Mirate seems far superior. The decided on a random Friday night to try as it has been on the list of to-do's. The set up and ambiance are great very cute inside. Their signature cocktails were great. The anger was amazing as well service was definitely a 10/10. However if I'd have to choose between here and a higher end restaurant for the price point their menu is at I would definitely skip out on coming here again. Super cute, great ambiance & vibes in there. They have duolingo or some kind of translating program while you go to the bathroom which I thought was super cute . Came to this restaurant on a random Wednesday with no reservation. Thankfully it was fairly early in the evening so they fit in my party of 2, but let us know that a reserved party would be arriving in about an hour and a half. It was our first time here. We tried: smashed avocado 5/5 (can you really go wrong with fresh guac?) salsa Molcajete, salsa de La casa 5/5 Caesar salad 3/5 queso fundido 4/5 great with hot. (Eat immediately don't wait) For drinks we tried the sour apple marg 4/5and the dirty Shirley marg 1/5 (return for another apple marg). Overall a good experience. Very friendly, efficient and accommodating staff. A bit overpriced. I love that you get a free Spanish vocab lesson while using restroom (the restroom was clean and well stocked). I was so intrigued when I heard about the Guacamole Margarita so I had to make the trek up to Daisy to check it out! In the end I ordered the Salsa Verde Margarita and absolutely loved it. It had a smoky element to it that was reminiscent of mezcal, but faded into more savory and bright flavors. My husband got the Guacamole Margarita, and I enjoyed trying it, but definitely preferred mine. ALSO, it is very important to note that the Guacamole Margarita has clam juice in it. My vegetarian friend was going to try it and they don't advertise that it's not vegetarian. It's listed as "clearmato" on the menu since it is a clarified version of Clamato, but that is very unclear when allergies or other dietary restrictions are at play. I found that fairly concerning that it's snuck in there.... you usually don't think to ask if a cocktail has shellfish in it?! I loved the salsa trio and found each one to be unique, flavorful, and spicy. I was worried when they only brought us a few tostadas, but I was pleasantly surprised that they did not charge us when I asked for a refill. The aguachile de chayote was so delicious and a fun starter to go with the salsas. The pollo asada was a great sharable portion, and I was impressed with how filling it was! The chicken was incredible with the salsas and tortillas. I love a tallow fry, so I expected to love these, and they were unfortunately a little flat flavor-wise compared to the rest of the food. Some of my very dear friends are bartenders, and I took one of them here for her birthday. We picked this place because we have mad respect for Max - beverage director. Max is not your standard bartender - he is a mixologist extraordinaire. His skills go beyond the basic vodka soda. Case in point - the Salsa Verde Margarita. Not to be overlooked are the reimagined Mexican dishes that focus on traditional techniques with a modern twist created by Executive Chef Alan Sanz. (For the record, my friend & I also love Daisy's sister restaurant Mirate.) The décor here is quite charming and reminiscent of a cantina in Mexico. There's even a cool jukebox. Our server Yvette was fantastic as were the other staff members that frequently checked on us. We started with Margaritas - Clasica Margarita & Tommy's Margarita. You don't have to worry about salt on the rim of your margarita glass because the margaritas already contain salt. I know it sounds weird but it's a small amount and it works. In a blind taste test, you can tell a Daisy margarita vs any other. We also tried the Sour Apple Margarita. Max nailed the perfect sour green apple taste without using apple pucker. We both agreed that it reminded us of Lola's Apple Martini but better. (FYI: Lola's invented the Apple Martini.) My friend got the Taco De Tianguis, which is inspired by the street food of Chef Sanz' hometown of Oaxaca. It was a generous serving and she enjoyed it. The Mexican Biscuit made with Tres chiles & cotija cheese was bomb! It was served warm with Hoja Santa Honey butter. I loved it, and I love the vibe here. Absolutely delicious food. Went for dinner and got the carne Apache, Caesar salad, queso fundido, and pollo asado. The carne Apache and pollo asado were incredible. The cauliflower puree was truly one of the best things I've had in a long time! The Caesar salad was a perfect started and so flavorful! The queso fundido was queso fundido. All the flour and corn tortillas tasted so fresh and delicious. The service was a little slow, but it makes you slow down and enjoy your time more. The ambiance is my favorite! Came to Daisy to celebrate a friends birthday and it was a great experience. Parking may be tough but you can always find something within walking distance. My server was great, the restaurant is very visually appealing, and the food was great. I ordered the queso fundido which was exceptional! My recommendation is to ask for the chips rather than the tortillas. My main entree was the Pescabirria tacos and I have to say, WOW! These tacos were perfect because it had zero fishy taste or scent and the consomé was perfectly balanced. If I could eat more I would order that twice. For dessert we had some strawberry ice cream for my friends bday which they brought out and we requested the blue corn muffin as well. The muffin was good, it almost tasted like a tamale but the icings on top made it more enjoyable. To drink, I ordered the Gimlet which was good but a bit too sweet for my liking. I found this place after visiting some dive bars in the area, it was absolutely beautiful inside! I had to stop for a drink before the closed. They had a whole menu of late night bites as it is mostly a restaurant. I didn't get any food this time but I got a prickly pear cosmo and it was delicious! It was sweet instead is being tart which I really liked. The service was really great too, our server gave us a breakdown of all the tequilas and mezcals they offer. Went here for a friend's birthday and found the restaurant on Resy, where it had great reviews and was known for its specialty margaritas. The server was very kind and helpful and the ambiance was perfect date night casual. We started with the ceviche and also trio which were well balanced and bright. The black salsa was the spiciest and also our favorite! The cocktails were delicious, both refreshing and strong. For my meal I ordered the carne asada plate that I had cooked medium rare and it was well executed. The meat was tender and perfectly cooked. Daisy is such a great addition to the neighborhood! My husband and I have been coming to Daisy at least once a month for about a year, and have never had a bad experience. Everything we've had there has been delicious. We've gone to brunches, dinners, specialty nights, and dropped by the bar and each time we're blown away. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Special shoutout to the front of house manager, Greg. He's always so kind and generous with his time whenever we pop by. Whether it's to tell us about upcoming menu changes, ask our opinion on the newest drinks, or just to chat, we can always count on him to enhance an already wonderful experience. Where do I start! The host Greg welcomed us with open arms and explained a little about what they were doing. The old Sherman had a speakeasy bar upstairs that's being remodeled now and will open soon. We had a reservation at 5:15, got there at 5, place was packed but they seated us right away. Ronnie was so much fun and knowledgeable about anything on the menu! He was wonderful! We did a little bit of everything! Tortillas are so good and fresh!! I've heard loads of good things about this place. It was the former Sherman and now Daisy. A whole completely different vibe. We stopped in during the street fair which was very busy. The entrance had a door man/security letting people in. Once inside, the place was packed. We just wanted a drink and a lite snack to carry us till dinner time. I'm not sure if it's always packed or just because of the street fair. But the vibe was nice. Couples, families and groups. We checked in and asked for the bar as we were only wanting drinks. They didn't have any seats available but could seat us right away at one of the hi top tables across from the bar. It's somewhat of a hipster Mexican restaurant. Menu was limited during our visit. Not sure if there's a different one for dinner. I'm assuming they're known for their Michelada as it was noted on the menu. So obviously had to try it. I don't like Michelada but gave it a shot. First impression, did like the jerky that accompanied the drink. Never seen it served that way. First sip, it's an acquired taste that I'm not a fan of. People seemed to love it as loads were being ordered but I couldn't get on board. Food, we just got an order of the aguachille de callo. Scallops, aguachile verde, market fruit and citrus. The flavors were great with the citrus, cucumber, red onions and plums. It was an excellent mix of everything and combine with the citrus. It was a win. That was served with tortilla chips. Just from this dish, we quite liked it a lot. The portions aren't that big for a meal hence it's a starters. Service was great. All the staffs were very friendly and sweet. Drinks all looked amazing after the bartender making them. It's a nice lively place. You could say it's a bit pricer for the food. There's also A seafood counter over the bar where all the oysters were placed on iced. If you're only popping in for a drink, it's quite nice. What we had to share was great. Last year we had an exceptional experience at a restaurant in Los Feliz called Mirate. We stumbled on it like Hernando's Hideaway of '50s fame, up a steep set of stairs and into a vast world of trees and artisan mezcal and Oaxacan food that was out of this world. And then, they sent us a cryptic message, (psssst: we are opening another place in Sherman Oaks. shhhhhhh ...) Oh boy, let me at it, I thought, just minutes from my house. We made the move this weekend. It is on Ventura Boulevard, so I braced myself for difficult parking, but, the gods must have been with us, because we parked right in front, for free. Daisy is so cool! Take a look at the pictures. You enter a darkened space lit with mustards, oranges, and deep sophisticated greens against the backdrop of saturated wooded surfaces. Everything looks expertly curated, as if you are in an immersive museum moment. The brunch menu is like no other one I have ever seen. We had enough choices, even being vegetarians and pescatarian around the edges. Each dish was a little work of art and superbly flavored. We had three people fussing over us cheerfully, singing the praises of Daisy and the owners who created another elevated space for eating, drinking (there is an extensive beverages menu), and listening. The music is unique -- it reminds me of campesino music, like the Sertanejo efforts of peasants in Northeastern Brazil where I lived for awhile. It is upbeat, rhythmic, tuneful and addictive. I am going to try to find a playlist and recreate the vibe Daisy steeped us in listening to those cuts. I have to thank Aleena, Emily, and Alexander for their excellent suggestions and flawless service. I especially want to Aleena to know how much we loved the cold brewed coffee with cinnamon syrup, ginger, and a touch of milk -- it was a revelation and I could have enjoyed a pint of it, it was so good. The portions were such that we took a bag home to enjoy again. Bright but cozy, cheerful but mysterious, eclectic and iconoclastic yet deeply satisfying, Daisy lives up to it's big sister, Mirate. My friends and I came here to try it out recently and didn't do much research beforehand. This is a higher end spot, so we only got drinks and the salsa trio and it ended up being around $30 a person or so. I got the sour apple margarita which was good, but definitely different than expected. The bartender was super nice and told us that everything behind the bar is from Mexico, which is neat! They even have a juke box, but when I picked my song, I don't think it ever played! But fun anyway. When we ordered the salsa trio. It came with five chips. We were shocked because there was a ton of salsa, but not to worry, the bartender kept bringing us more chips! So it was just a plating choice at delivery. The menu looked yummy, but was just at a higher price point than we were thinking, so we honestly hopped over to Mr Furley's for the second round of drinks and food. Overall, this would be a great date night spot or a cool place to come with people for a special occasion. When you go to a restaurant for the first time and you are still thinking about the experience days later, the place left a mark on you. We were quickly greeted by the host since we arrived right when they opened. The staff explained the menu to us and we were greeted by a wonderful glass of sparkling wine for our anniversary. We decided to order the avocado margarita and the old fashion cocktail. For appetizers we ordered the guacamole and octopus taco. After the appetizers, we shared the asada steak which we prepared just right and tasty with a special sauce on top which added more favor to the dish. Daisy has been on my list of places to go for quite some time now! Thrilled to finally have gotten to see what all the buzz is about. There are paid parking garages just across/kitty corner from the restaurant unless you're lucky enough to score street parking. In the evening, fun, fringed light fixtures dimly light the space (noticed it gets a little brighter after the sun goes down and they turn the lights up a tad) but it set a fun tone. Other reviews note it's a loud environment - which I would agree, but not to the point that made it difficult to hold a conversation at all. Now that salsa verde margarita everyone talks about? Get it! We also tried the Shirley temple (I did not care for, however my husband loved it) and classic was very well done too. We ordered the salsa trio, ceviche (wow!), octopus taco (loved the octopus, did not like the cheese and pineapple paired in the dish?? Very odd to me), and the branzino (delightful!!). Notably your chips (tostadas) are large and very few but you can ask for more. From the food options which are both delicate and savory to the perfectly well curated cocktails that only left me wanting more. Never have I enjoyed a margarita more, and this is coming from a vodka only loving girl. I didn't have reservation and did walk up to bar instead. Waiting no time before I was seated and my order was taken. Service is A1. Ambience is 10/10. Perfect for date night, time with family or a pit stop to your next location. This place came recommended by an acquaintance, is close by, and opened somewhat recently, so it was on my list of places to try. Earlier this month I had an occasion for a dinner out, so we went to Daisy. First things first, definitely make a reservation at least a week out, especially for a weekend dinner. I made a reservation maybe 4 days out and was lucky to snag a 6 p.m. Saturday reservation. We checked in at the hostess stand, and were seated. Note, if you have a group of 2, you will be seated in the middle of the restaurant and not a booth (those are for larger groups, which makes sense). However, the seating for 2 is very cozy, so be prepared to get intimate with the folks sitting next to you. For drinks, I got the classic margarita. I asked for it spicy and they delivered! BF got the jamaica which was tasty. For food, we shared: aguachile de callo, salsa de la casa, taco de pulpo, taco arabe, fideo secco, and the 3 leches de carajillo. Everything was delicious, although not sure if I would order the fideo seco again. Our server (can't remember his name sadly) was awesome and always checked on us periodically despite it being busy, poured water for our glasses, and gave us unlimited refills on chips bc they give you such a small amount to start with for the aguachile and the salsas. Standouts were the house salsas, taco de pulpo, and aguachile. Everything was fresh and delicious. Two of the three salsas were actually spicy, and my BF got a second taco de pulpo. One thing to note is that one order of a taco just comes as a single taco. But the filling is not skimpy at least. They still had the Christmas decor when we went the first Saturday of January but I love the holidays so that was fun. Since it was packed, it got quite loud. I'll admit, I walked into Daisy with pretty low expectations after having a rough experience at their sister spot, Mirate. But wow, Daisy completely blew me away. From the vibe, to the service, to the drinks and food, everything was on point. The energy felt like an upscale El Torito- nostalgic, lively, and so much fun. Parking is easy with street or valet options. Jared was our server and he was fantastic. Attentive without hovering, and genuinely made the night even better. Drinks: Okay... I am not usually a cocktail girl (I usually go straight tequila), but Daisy might have changed that for me. The Dirty Shirley was insane--balanced, tart, refreshing, not too sweet. I loved it so much I had two. The Mangoneada Margarita was smokier than expected but the mango popping balls were so fun. The Guacamole Frozen Marg with the corn chip garnish was unexpectedly delicious, and the Salsa Verde Marg was savory and refreshing. Even the tequila shots came with nostalgic little lime-salt packets I haven't seen in forever. Such a fun touch! Food: -Queso Fundido: 12/10. Perfectly melty, rich, and the tortillas that came with it were outstanding -Guac + Chips: Solid, but overshadowed by everything else -Ceviche de Pescado: Fresh and bright, loved the crunchy corn on top -Grilled Oyster w/ Carne Asada: Totally unique and craveable, I've never had oysters with meat on it and it was fantastic -Dorados Taco: My least favorite, not quite crunchy enough -Taco Arabe: Just okay -Taco de Pulpo: My favorite of the night! Tender, flavorful, perfectly balanced. I could've eaten 10 Pollo Asada: Juicy and paired with a delicious cauliflower purée Carne Asada: 10/10. Perfect sear, cooked just right Dessert: Do not skip. The Pan de Elote was incredible, and the 3 Chocolates with passion fruit gelato was addictive, I couldn't stop going back for that passion fruit crumble combo. All in all, Daisy gave me one of the most unexpectedly amazing dining nights I've had in a while. Exciting drink menu! Not exciting prices. Very expensive. Think $20 margarita. $15 tostada. Very small place. Not a good place to have a birthday with friends. The staff are great and try really hard to be accommodating but the space is really small and doesn't work for groups over 4 on a Saturday late afternoon-I can't even imagine what it's like later or on a Friday night. Went for my birthday on a Saturday in late August. Made a reservation, people RSVPd but brought guests and there was no where for them to sit or stand (so busy!). Folks felt bad and wound up leaving after not being able to get in. They just can't accommodate. And if the drinks were better priced I'd be back despite the above, but the menu is $$$. Not worth it imo If it's a must in your list, I'd recommend coming early in the week for lunch. read more

This was my second time visiting this new hot spot in the city, and once again it didn't disappoint. It was packed for a Thursday night, but the server we had was amazing. He could literally discuss any item on the menu ad nauseam. I had their Salsa Verde Margarita ‍ for a starter then went to a Mangoneada Margarita to follow and both were out of this world. For dinner we had the Grilled Oysters (which have steak on them) and the Carne Apache. Oh and of course some Guac too. Definitely recommend the vibe here for a night out with friends. read more

Daisy was amazing! From the staff to the food and drinks, everything was really outstanding. What attracted me to this place was initially the interesting flavors of margaritas (guacamole margaritas, creamsicle margaritas etc). I really had no idea how good the food actually was. We started off with drinks - Shirley temple margarita, guacamole margarita, salsa verde margarita and a mango margarita. They were all so good we actually just kept ordering the same drinks each round The food - we ordered queso fundido, grilled oysters, ceviche, pollo asado, carne asada, dorados and a few tacos. Everything was really good and I can't really pick what stood out because each item was exceptional! But I will say out of everything we ordered, the dorados was not the tables favorite. Honestly this place is great for drinks, a date, and a get together with friends. Food and drinks are great and the staff is super nice and really go over and beyond. I recall this place was previously The Sherman. I must say Daisy is a superb replacement! From the hostess who seated us to Alec and Hilliary, the wife and I had a memorable afternoon on 1/10/26. Alec came over and gave us some great recommendations. Even though our table wasn't his per say, he treated us as if we were his table. We started off with his recommedations of the the Salsa Verde Margarita & the Sour Apple Margarita....real nice!!! Hillary came over and she offered some great brunch options food wise (thank you for remembering that I have a nut allergy). We started with the smashed avocado w/ribeye chicharron and the ceviche de pescado, oh the flavors! Makes you want to go back in the kitchen to see how they made it, delicious! From there we did mushroom tacos, breakfast burrito & chilaquiles with duck carnitas..excellent flavors! We purchased two bottles of alcohol (rum & mezcal) and they made for some perfect Sunday home cocktails! Our personable servers and the food w/drinks made it so we will return. This is now my go-to recommendation for anyone looking to go out for drinks and a good time. Daisy is such a vibe! I feel immediately cooler when I walk in through the doors. I love the ambiance with the low lighting and classic Mexican inspired decor with a cool modern twist. The menu of drinks here has a lot to explore! I immediately went for the Salsa Verde Margarita and I highly highly recommend it! On another visit I ordered the Paloma and it's so cool that they make their own and even can it! It makes it extra bubbly. But it's probably the best paloma I've had in a long time! Don't let it being in a can dissuade you. I haven't had the chance to explore too much of their food menu, but I absolutely love the pulpo taco. It's a great option if you are looking for a little bit to accompany your drink. The cesar salad is good, definitely different from your classic cesar and great for sharing. The booths here are super comfy but the bar is a great spot to post up even for dinner. Expect a short wait time even on a weeknight! Can't wait to come back. read more

Daisy in Sherman Oaks, a newer restaurant/tequila bar from the people who brought you Mirate. Had it on my list of places I needed try sooner than later, and happened to be out in Sherman Oaks, so no better time than the present. Didn't have a reservation, but we were able to get seated at the bar immediately. The bar is filled with different tequilas, and the tequila list is vast with over 100 tequilas available. So, if you're a tequila fan, this is your new favorite bar. Started out with cocktails: creamsicle margarita and sour apple margarita. The sour apple margarita was surprising, in a good way, actually coming out as something refreshing with a good balance between the tequila and the apple. The creamsicle margarita had a tangerine citrus and coconut to pair with the don fulano reposado tequila. It didn't give that generic orange creamsicle taste, but actually was, again, surprisingly good. For food, expectations were high, so we had to try a few items. We started with the octopus taco, crab tostada and chargrilled oysters. The octopus taco was thick, but that was misleading as there was one piece of octopus on top and filling underneath. Definitely needed more octopus and less filling. Flavor wise, it was good with chorizo and pineapple pico along with the queso, but definitely needed more octopus. The crab tostada was also interesting. The carb meat tasted like it was very finely shredded with a salsa macha and lime, giving it a ceviche vibes. It wasn't quite what I expected and don't think I would necessarily get it again. As for the chargrilled oysters, they were, again, interesting. These came with cheese and steak, so while it brings a whole different take to a chargrilled oyster, the steak really took away from the flavor of the oyster. As for entree, we tried the Fideo Seco, which is a vermicelli pasta with shrimp, chicharon and avo mousse. The shrimp were delicious, and the chicharon gave a nice little chewy crunch for texture, but the vermicelli felt like something was missing. Each bite I kept looking for whatever it was that was missing with the dish, and really wanted to like it but I just couldn't bring myself to it. It had some decent elements but just didn't come together in the end. Overall, fun place, great staff, nice recommendations, and the food ha its good moments but, overall, the dishes didn't hit like we hoped they would. Maybe going in, don't necessarily expect Mirate and accept it for what it is. read more

Daisy is a new gem in town. It's a warm rustic inviting intimate space with loads of seating via booths, bar and mesas (tables). They have a great view of Ventura Blvd between the luces/lights at Cedros Avenue(s), which breaks up between blocks. The vibe is fun, lively and mellow all at once, very SFV. It definitely feels like a fresh plant blooming into a full bed of daisies or rather one big super daisy from what was once The Sherman. There's a cool vintage jukebox, awesome pictures and decor + more! Being a new hot & new local margarita bar with authentic flavors and ingredients direct from the source of Mexico, they provide a variety of fresh cocktails, cuisine and quality. Stopping in for the first time with two amazing people, mesa para tres personas - nosotros got a booth with I believe Hillary, who let me tell you is too cool for school in all the best ways, because she went above and beyond to provide a great experience for us. I let her know that I'm vegan when she asked about allergens and she gave us her recommends on everything. Tenemos los Tacos de Hongo which are/can be made vegan, an order of regular fries to share, though they do have a huge variety of loaded things via their fuertes section including pollo asado (chicken and wagyu topped frites/fries/papas). And the Tacos de Pulpo (octopus). Everyone enjoyed their eats, drinks and cocktails: "Cadilac" Margarita para mi Dirty "Shirly" for Nor Salsa Verde Margarita for M All the saluds y cheers for three delicious drinks plus all the water we could need via the every attentive Hillary. It's not very inexpensive, $20 a drink on average for almost anything on their menu, but the beverages are fuego! The same for the food on both accounts. They have loads of vegetarian and vegan options available upon request and note so on their menu. Living up to the same coolness of their older sibling Mírate in Los Feliz. Restrooms are immaculate as is the entire space. I'm not sure if "El Ático" aka "The Attic," the former speakeasy of the previous business will return, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are doing something fun with that. We met Greg the manager on our way out and he was the nicest guy ever. Handsome, engaging, friendly, and mindful. They truly value each and everyone who stops in and absolutely show that same connection and care to their staff. Daisy is growing open 7 days a week as early as 11am on weekends for brunch (note: 11am - 3pm ⁠for classic brunch and 3pm - 5pm for brunch small bites). During the week they open by 5pm until as late as midnight con exclusión de 1am on Fridays y Sabados only. Valet parking is available as well as street, metered until 8pm during the week. You can almost always find something nearby especially on the back end or side streets. Some parking garages on the Midici and On The Thirty side of Ventura. Rideshare is your amiga as well I've walked passed here a few times since they've open so I'm really glad to finally stop in and hopefully stop in again and see them flourish in the neighborhood city of Sherman Oaks. read more
