I was disappointed with the lack of information and transparency with this service. When we last had our carpets cleaned several years back, the one price covered everything and the furniture was moved other than the large dresser and bed. I went with this company because their rates were in line with other estimates and they had good reviews. However, when the technician came out, we discovered that there were three price points - we thought that the estimate that was provided covered the cleaning and protection. But this only covered the basic cleaning and if we wanted the protection, it was higher, and if we wanted the protection and deodorizer, it was even higher. Because the technician was already there, I went ahead and paid for more. When the technician left, he said the carpet would be clean in about 8 hours. Because the room was upstairs, we didn't see the results until that night - after 10 hours, the carpet was still damp but looked good. The next day, I noticed that one stain didn't come up and that the technician had not moved two nightstands and cleaned these areas. I called BnK to ask about this and they said that they don't move heavy furniture - these nightstands are not at all heavy. They asked if the technician said anything about the stains needing extra attention, but he said nothing about anything. When they asked what I wanted, I said I'd like someone to come back out and clean the areas missed and to have someone re-do the stain. I was told that they would have to charge for those areas because the estimate only included the visible areas. I'm upset because we weren't given any information about their parameters ahead of time, no information about the stains when the technician was there, and when I called afterwards, there was no attempt to remedy the situation. read more

We had cat urine seep into several parts of a large, sectional sofa. This happened over a year ago. Dozens of cleaning attempts on my part with over 10 different chemical methods - it still had strong urine odors. I even had a particularly bad part of the sofa reupholstered to get rid of the smell, a $200 investment - yikes! Well, I had finally given up and was going to either trash the couch and get a new one or try a professional cleaner. BnK looked solid from its Yelp reviews, so I called them and got a rough quote for the cleaning. $15 per foot sounded alright to me, so I scheduled an appointment. Keeping his appointment time, Tony came and inspected the sofa and did a more thorough measurement of the area to be cleaned to make an official price quote. The quote was at $224 for the 14-foot sofa plus $75 for PURT, an additive specifically to break down the crystals in urine. There were a couple more additives that I declined as they raised the price significantly ($100 for deodorizer/sanitizer). The final quote was $300, then I got a Yelp check-in discount to bring it down to $270. I accepted the quote, and Tony got to work immediately after! No need for a second appointment. He worked tirelessly for at least two hours on the couch. He was extremely thorough. It took almost 48 hours for the couch to completely dry, but afterward, there was no odor at all! Now, granted, there was quite a bit of chemical smell and fragrance for several weeks. But I'm reviewing this experience now, at least three months since we had the work done, and there is no lingering odor at all! No chemical odor, no fragrance, and best of all, no cat pee! Scott did my carpets and he was awesome. He was friendly and super thorough. My only problem is they charge by "per square." When I called they said a 1 bedroom runs around $110-$130. Most local companies run about $100, but I didn't mind paying a little extra for a weekend appointment. I ended up with a bill of $150 which included a $10 trip fee for a basic cleaning. I was not expecting that and wish they'd be a little more upfront about their fee. read more

About 2 years ago I found Bnk Chem-Dry here on Yelp and tried them to clean a 8x10 area rug. The quote they gave me over the phone was doubled when they came to our home. I regret accepting the quote and using them. It was bait and switch. Price I paid to clean rug was nearly what it cost. Why did I use them? Was tired of trying to get quotes. First visit (last year): fairly efficient, and the results were satisfactory. This year's visit: total fail...no work done. CONS: Showed up even later than we expected, mainly because the worker went to a street by the same name 20 minutes away from here. Some people need to learn how to use their phone GPS, or just pay attention to the name of the city. Having made an appointment with the owner by email--sending him my previous invoice and asking for the same job at the same price--I personally removed ALL of the furniture I could off the carpets to make it the easiest job you can imagine. But the technician proceeded to measure, then take a shot at upcharging me by 30%. I told him to call his boss, which he refused to do, so I just escorted him out the front door and said: "have a nice day." I don't know about you, but I could never just walk away from an easy job that would still make me multiple hundreds of dollars just because I couldn't get a customer to accept my sales bullying. In fact, I'd rather live with a dirty carpet than deal with all these notoriously dishonest gypsies in the carpet cleaning milieu. Never again for BnK Chem-Dry. Promptly got on the phone and the very next morning a "Pure Organic" representative showed up, promptly performed as requested without any upselling nonsense, and at the price I felt was reasonable. The carpet was extremely clean and dry by late afternoon. Lesson learned. read more

I was very happy with how our carpet turned out the week before and wanted to try them on our master bath tile floor. I also had them clean the shower tile floor and tile sides. All turned out very well. A little over a year ago I used another well-known carpet service (advertises on TV) for our carpet and all of our tile floors and I was not really happy about their tile floor cleaning as the grout didn't come out as I expected. It was evident about 9 months or so afterward that they may not have sealed the grout very well or perhaps they didn't use a good sealant or perhaps the person they sent out was in a hurry. Nevertheless, I'm very pleased with BNK Chemdry in how clean the tile floor and grout came out and plan to use them for the rest of the tile when spring arrives. looks like new now! read more

I wiil begin with WOW, my carpets are 17 years old and 2 years ago had them "Steam Cleaned" and I am almost positive that there was little improvement, So I had Drew as my service technician today, Drew notified me about 15-20 minutes prior to his arrival, Drew showed up introduced himself was very polite and presented himself very well, then He began by measuring the areas to be cleaned, I had also measured prior to his arrival ( I was a Contract Carpet installer for many years) and to my surprise was a bit under my calculations, I had been a little long in my measurements, a couple inches here and there so I was pleased that Drew's measurements were a bit tighter than mine. Then we got to the upsell portion of the service options which I am skeptical of all upsells, however Drew managed to get me to the highest level with a sanitizering stage included in the process. Let the the cleaning commence and here comes that part at the beginning "WOW" I could visibly see the carpets come amazingly clean and the sanitizer process made the house smell incredibly nice and clean, my wife came home and was shocked as she didn't think it was possible that they could ever get that clean and she also noticed how clean the house smelled so thanks Drew for informing me on the benifits of the sanitizer. I did not believe that there was much differance in carpet cleaning services... But boy was I wrong I will never have my carpets "Steam Cleaned" again, I will only use Chem Dry as the process removes so much more dirt and grime.
