This is the second time I used Riester's Carpet Service... the first time I loved using them, this second time not as happy. Although Roland had a great positive attitude I definitely felt that the carpet cleaning was not as thorough as it should have been. Some light furniture was not moved( e.g. when my son visiting from Florida moved the ottoman to install a ceiling fan , he not only found that there were distinct lines of going around the said ottoman but also found a missing puzzle piece!) I have contacted Riester re this but as of today( almost two weeks later) there has been no communication from them. I will have to consider using them again . read more

If you think your floors are beyond repair, or if you're worried about how you might be treated- just call them! I'm the laziest housekeeper on the planet, and I never felt judged or inferior. You're treated like a real human with a real life. And he will make magic happen. Promise! On Saturday we bought a couch from Restoration Hardware Outlet, and at the recommendation of the sales person, we sought resources to steam clean the couch... and then because I'm the worst housekeeper on the planet we decided to have our tile steam cleaned and sealed again. Roland is an amazing communicator and had sealed the deal for a Tues clean within 2 hours of using the Yelp! estimate feature. After convos with hubs, we determined I might have been miles off my sq foot estimate - but the pricing was amazing, so I messaged Roland, and he was very reassuring and told me he would measure and confirm the price before moving forward. Spoiler alert - and I have official confirmation from the floor master, my sq footage was on point (but I do need to add the caveat that he said it was one of the first times in his career). Roland was on schedule and gave me a warning call so I could prepare. He and Tim were both masked, and practiced social distancing the entire time they were here. The confirmation of the estimate took less than ten minutes - and once we confirmed, they were moving furniture, placing their corner guards to ensure our paint wasn't damaged, and we made a plan for navigating my fairly small house and my dogs. Some of the areas of our grout needed acid treatment in order to remove staining - and Roland was very realistic with expectations on how clean it could get. We had 5 years of kids, dogs, happy hours and morning coffee on our floors. And I couldn't be happier or more amazed with the results he was able to get. The couch had a few pre-existing makeup and moving stains, he was able to remove all of it and make it new again. I had a random chair I wanted cleaned - it's white and has seen the hardships of children, dogs... and life. It looks new again! Roland has a magical machine that does cleaning and sealing at the same time - and he's so educated in his industry - he gave me the full run down of what was done, and how to keep it looking pretty / products to avoid to help the stain guard work longer. And my tile is gorgeous- like the day it was installed. I found myself just admiring the whole house today, multiple times. Obviously this pandemic is insane - and I'm full on lockdown/work from home girl. Both Roland and Tim really made me feel safe working with them and having them in my home. They had me laughing and enjoying their presence- and were so sweet/conscious of the dogs. They gave me awesome advice for maintenance, and for making sure the dogs were safe following the work done. It's an important time to remember small businesses- these times are unprecedented, and a lot of people are still struggling to make ends meet in industries that can really improve your work from home life, safely. I can say without a doubt that this company has your best life and your best health in mind. I couldn't be happier with my decision. As I was writing this review, Roland called to follow up and make sure hubs and I were happy/everything went well. Based on Yelp reviews, I called Jim to have him clean the carpets at my investment property in Oceanside. He responded right away, was right on time, and did a great job in a short time. I liked his service so much I had him come over afterwards to my house and clean the leopard rug in my family room. Riesters Carpet Service went above and beyond for us. We have a 100% wool rug that was very challenging to clean. Apparently the spot cleaning that I did with dish soap was the wrong way and when Riester's cleaned it the residual soap ran leaving discoloration. When we told Riester's that we weren't happy with the discoloration, Roland picked up the rug and brought it back to their warehouse for a deep cleaning to get the soap out. I learned MY lesson - don't use liquid soap on our rugs and trust Riester's Carpet wit our carpet and rug cleaning needs. 5 star review earned. read more

This is THE BEST carpet cleaning service in North County, and quite possibly in San Diego. After considering using a coupon I saw in one of those home mailings, the two companies I researched had horrible reviews. Riester's had 5 stars, so I used Yelp to get a quote; it was reasonable. From there, Roland (the owner) personally followed up and we scheduled a move-out cleaning. (I wanted a Sunday, and they are open Sundays--not many are--but they had just scheduled a large hotel job for that Sunday, so we scheduled it for Saturday right after the house and window cleaning people.) Roland kept in contact with me the day of, texting his estimated arrival time, which was within 30 minutes of the time frame we scheduled, which was actually perfect timing since the other cleaning people were still at the house and I was over at my new house. Roland arrived with his brother-in-law--they are a family business--and the two of them got to work laying down corner protectors and sheets as to not dirty the house, which I very much appreciated. They treated the freshly cleaned home with care and left it and the carpets immaculate! The white carpets had previously had a few dark spots from foot traffic; those came out, and the house was left smelling sparkling clean. They worked extremely quickly and even managed to entertain my 3-year-old son as I was sweeping out the garage. Roland explained that they have the most powerful equipment out there so they are able to get the job done fast. The property management and the owner of the house were very pleased and we got every penny of our deposit back upon move-out. Roland even contacted me through Yelp to follow up on the service. I would definitely use Riester's again, and have recommended them to friends and family. We had to have the carpets at our new house cleaned after moving in when we realized they had not been cleaned and there was cat hair all over the place--I would've used Riester's in a heartbeat, but this cleaning was paid for by the property management, so we used whomever they sent us. That guy left scuffs on the corners of walls and baseboards, took forever to clean the carpets, and there was no odor treatment. Did not hold a candle to Riester's! So he comes out for carpet cleaning in my nice and big condo with stairs and gives me a price saying he will do a good job and make the place look good again.
