A brief summary: they damaged my property, left a dirty mess, refused to refund, then I cancelled my CC payment after that got some attention. During those 6 months of trouble, they came to my place 4 times, but they still have to change the sliding doors frame. Meanwhile, to claim they were not responsible for the mess, their employee made a hidden video of my father cutting some wood on the balcony, they were smart enough to talk about it with me even after I mentioned it was a federal offence...anyway, I even have this video in my email as well. So, if you are willing to have someone come and go to your place for over 6 months by fixing uncompleted job, as well as having contractors who infringe your privacy and violates laws - feel free to use them. As for me - I'm getting an attorney to boost their motivation to complete the project which another hassle. read more

it has been a horrible experience. was supposed to be a two day job and over a month and still dealing with issues. no communication, not miscommunication, none.No one to tell what's going on , can't get someone to return a call. Installers destroyed bushes, broke a AC drain line , left saw dust and garbage all over it goes on and on. WHERE DO I BEGIN........ From the initial phone call, everyone was very professional. Brenda guided us through every step and answered all questions. Brett came out and was very thorough, although I messed up the initial measure date meeting time, he was able to complete it regardless. That dude is good, trust me!!!! A few days later we had our initial quote, which was anywhere between $3K - $15K less than everywhere else we looked. My fiancé and I looked it over and made some slight changes, that wasn't an issue at all. Brett made the changes and we had a revised estimate within a day. A few more back and forth changes (made by my lovely future wife) and we finally got it down to the final estimate. Brett assured us that the order would be put in right away and it would take approx 4 weeks to fabricate as all windows are made to order. Not surprisingly, 3 weeks and 5 days later, we got the call. "YOUR WINDOWS ARE READY SIR" we set up the install date and we were on our way. Brenda gave us all the installers names and advised that Emilio would be heading the install project. On April 6, the crew arrived ready to Rock-N-Roll. I met with Gustavo, one of the installers and he took the lead, as if it were his own home. He was very professional and courteous to all our needs and requests. During the installation process Gustavo sent us progress photos as my fiancé and I were both at work. 2 days later, our new home had amazing impact rated windows. WE'RE NOT DONE YET....... Now it was time for the city inspection to approve everything. This time they sent Erik. Again, the professionalism was immeasurable. He walked with the inspector and answered any questions she had. Of course we passed with flying colors...... It was at this time, we found one window that was off by less than 1/8". We brought this to Erik's attention and advised that if it wasn't an easy fix, not to worry about, as it wasn't that big of an issue and didn't hinder the integrity of the window. That was not an option. Erik said "We will not stop until ALL windows and doors are perfect" his statement made me more happy that we went with them. The window was fixed to perfection, as expected and stated. To conclude: if you're looking for windows make sure to include BnT in your search. I could not be happier with the results!!!! I hired BNT to replace 5 windows and a slider in my Condo. The PGT Windows that arrived looked used or had been sitting in a warehouse for years. Every window was scratched and had metal that was bent. I ordered the insulated windows with the Argon gas. The first morning after the installation 2 of the windows got so foggy you couldn't see out of them. After researching this, apparently the seals are no good and the windows need to be replaced. After our first rain storm with high winds I just woke up to water inside my home. Every window leaked. I have been calling, e mailing this company for answers and the problems have not been fixed. They did send over a man who had no knowledge of windows and he tried to straighten out some of the bent metal with pliers but now its bent in the opposite direction. He also tried to paint over all the scratches with a brush. I purchased high quality hurricane windows and paid Top dollar for them. My original windows that I had for 25 years looked and worked better then the ones that have been installed. I'm going to look into hiring an attorney. read more

We hired BNT to replace all original windows and doors with impact windows [20+] and doors [1 double entry front door and 2 patio French doors] for our home. This was a large job and took almost 11 months to complete. Several windows were mis-measured [some by BNT and some send incorrectly by PGT] and had to be reordered on more than one occasion, which caused months of delays. There were supply chain delays and delays from Hurricane Ian affecting the west coast of Florida where PGT is located. BNT is a good company to deal with but frustrating at the same time. Some installers took pride in their work, others not so much. It is hit or miss depending on which crew is sent to do the job. I could give plenty of examples here but after 10+ months, I repeatedly asked to speak with the owner of the company, and I was told that the owner or Senior Management would contact me. I never received a call. That was disappointing. I'm just glad that the job is finally completed. read more

Worst company in Florida to deal with, I would give zero stars if possible. From the start this company lied to me in telling me all of their installers were staff, they are not they are all subcontractors. They sent out a crew who did not speak or understand a single word of English. Installers cut every corner they could. They installed a side garage door incorrectly and it had to be removed and reinstalled. During that process the door was damaged, and the first rain flooded my entire garage. The door was eventually replaced a 3rd time. All openings were supposed to be covered during construction and none were, leaving my house a dusty mess daily. A couple windows were beat out with a sledgehammer leaving debris, glass, and dust both inside the house and outside. I have 2 deaf dogs and it was explained to the crew that the doors and gates needed to be closed at all times and within the first hour that they were here they let the dogs out twice so my wife had to take 4 days off so that she could take the dogs someplace else to ensure their safety. Damage to the interior walls was throughout as they did not cut the calk joints so when the windows were removed all the paint from around the windows pulled and left large areas of missing paint and texture. The windows that got beaten out with the sledgehammer had drywall all around the window damaged with no repairs made by BNT. They were supposed to make stucco repairs around the windows and their idea of repair was to fill the holes and cracks with calk which shrunk when it dried and left large voids. They came back a second time to fix the stucco and failed to prep the walls and used the wrong type of stucco so what they put on the walls fell off within a few days. I still have one window that is leaking, and they are refusing to do anything about it. Hurricane Ian came through and I got water through the window that has damaged the drywall at the sill and under the window and includes damage to my wood floors and they are stating it's not their fault. They removed door casings and did not replace them, I had to do that. One window had a loose piece of weather stripping and instead of fixing it they tore it off and now I have a brand-new window missing the weather stripping. A 3 day install took 5 plus, and they are still not done. I have spent thousands of extra dollars to date making repairs that should not have been needed to be done. I can go on and on about this company, there is not a single good thing I can say about them. I would not recommend them, and I would never use them again. I thought I did my due diligence up front, but their sales guy lied to me. One last item when and if something goes wrong, don't expect to be able to speak to the owners of the company. They are like hibernating bears and will not speak to their customers. read more

Cannot say enough about BNT. We had roughly 10 contractors bid on the project, and even before seeing BNT's bid knew that they were the right ones for this job. Tom, the president of the company, came to bid the job himself. There was no salesmanship or crafty presentations to his pitch - he came in, told us what he thinks is the best (not most expensive) product for us based on our wants, and gave us a price. No haggling, no pressure etc. Even if BNT's bid hadn't come in as the lowest (which it did by about 10%), we would have likely used them nonetheless. When it came time to install, BNT's crew showed up when promised, completed the job efficiently, cleanly and PROFESSIONALLY, and came back to fix little issues immediately and thoroughly. Since we replaced every opening in our home I don't know if we'll have the opportunity to use BNT again, but if the need ever arose they would be our first and our last call. read more

After a rough start with the sales team, the install team and the customer service department came through and proved to be worth the misinformation I received from the sales side. They bent over backwards to get the install done in one day (11 windows, 2 sliders, new front door and side door to the garage). On top of that they fixed everything I had questions about and kept in contact with me with any issues we had with scheduling (like hurricane Irma). All in all I highly recommend them, and the window manufacturer they use is top of the line (PGT). These windows were installed 3 weeks before hurricane Irma and I never felt safer during a hurricane (I've been through 4). I researched quite extensively for a hurricane window installer and narrowed it to three using Angie's List. I received bids on all three. One installer showed an hour late and the other asked if I could send pictures and he would quote me over the phone, both of them were eliminated right away due to lack of professionalism. BNT runs a tight ship, always punctual (if they were going to be late they called in advance) and follows up on every email and phone call within 24 hours which is unheard of in today's business climate. Their salesman came to my home and reviewed all my glass options, explaining in detail how each type of coating worked and pro/cons of each. The entire installation process went smoothly and timely. There was one big problem with the handle but all it took was one call and the supervisor swiftly responded with a solution. There are so many window installer companies in S. Florida but what makes this company stand out is their customer service. I was thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend this company and will use them for our new home. read more

This is the 2nd set of windows we've ordered from BNT, which handles PGT (and a sister company CGI or whatever) products. Our first order had a number of "issues" that delayed completion for along time, involved broken shades, defective PGT window, etc. The good news, and the reason I chose BNT again, is that they resolved these issues without fuss, including replacing shades where one was broken during installation but then didn't match the others. They replaced all three. Any replacement window vendor is likely to be imperfect given the nature of the work and product, but I think BNT really does try to get the job done right and fix any problems that follow. After a slightly rough start, communication wise, I was delighted by how their terrific crew (headed by Carlos) came in and in less than one day replaced almost every window in my home. The work was neat and clean and I love my new windows. The staff, especially Brenda, were amazing about working with my rather complex schedule. I would recommend checking the windows before the crew leaves, or at least when they come back for inspection, just to make sure that everything has been properly returned to its place and the windows slide easily. I was worried about using Ygrene for my project but it turns out it was the best thing I could have ever done. My product was delivered ahead of schedule and the install was very fast.
