    Pho Bowl

Very good pho broth! Got the rare beef belly and steak and tripe pho as well as the grilled pork. All meats were delicious and juicy! Friendly fast service. Those guys are amazing how they carry so many bowls at once! Cute clean place and steady stream of customers at 830pm on a weekday. This is definitely the spot. Wish this place was closer so I could come more often!

Really good Pho and it comes out dash and fresh! It's a simple set up, clean and friendly. I'm so happy they are close to the office! They seem to be a local favorite, it was pretty busy.

Great place to have lunch and dinner. The menu is simple, straightforward, and small of some of best Vietnamese dishes! I got the grilled meats vermicelli bowl, it was delicious! Full of flavor. Service was wonderful. It was quick and easy. The ambiance is chill and casual! It clean and lots of seating!

This is my second time coming in, the first time I came in and knew I had to bring the family. First impression coming in was it was bright, clean and staff very friendly. This is the second time I also order the pho bowl with rare steak. The broth is out of this world, you can really taste all the flavors or the aromatics, spices and good quality meat broth. The bowl comes with noodles, green onions, onions and your choice of protein ( you get three choices of protein, however if you want only one, they'll give you 3 portions of it). My husband ordered the same and our only complain if I had to have one would be that by the time you get the rare steak it's not rare anymore. But not a big deal to us. It comes with a side of basil, bean sprouts, lime and jalapeños (beware they are spicy. Something that we really enjoyed about the soup is that they serve it extremely hot (temp wise) I love this because as your getting to the end, your soup isn't luke warm, you're still enjoying a nice hot pho. (The best) We got an order of the special; the short rib, you can add it to complement your pho, and I have to say this is one of the best piece of meat I've had in a really long time, it was fall off the bone super flavorful, and surprisingly not heavy at all. They give you a pair of scissors if you want to cut it into smaller pieces, as we got Medium pho bowls, we did share this rib (which was more than plenty and perfect to share, even a their person could share it, depending on hunger). The crispy eggrolls are 10/10 the fish sauce served to the side is delicious! It has shredded carrots and finely minced garlic. I'm so happy I found this hidden gem! Will deff be back. Also on a parent note, this place is super kid friendly, plenty of high chairs and they do have two kid options in the menu that are extremely decent sized and very good.

Second visit. I just really like this place. Food was excellent, again. Service was even better and I did a take out like last time. The restaurant was still clean, cared for a that carries a strong vibe. I still recommend. This time I got all tofu for my bowl. good good food !

I think the broth was a little bit too sweet like barely but otherwise very good. The brisket was tender and sliced thin and so was the rare steak. Loved the flavor of the grilled meats! Char/grill flavor but also soft. Nuoc mam/nuoc cham was only okay for me. More savory than the typical ones I'm used to which is normally a little sweeter.

One of (if not the best) pho place I have been to! I found it to be deeply flavorful, fresh, and the staff was also knowledgable and helpful with gluten free alternatives/options. Portion sizes are also HUGE- leftovers galore which remained delicious! And they had a good balance of noodles, meat, and toppings (they didn't skimp out on anything like some places do). The ambiance was great, clean bathrooms, there was also ample parking outside. 100% a must try!

Everything was great here. The service, food, and cleanliness were superb. Crab cheese wontons: flavorful filling and great ratio to wrapping Egg rolls: Love the rice paper! Not greasy and perfectly seasoned. Pho: Very flavorful and clean broth, a touch too sweet for me but I think that's common in Denver. The pho noodles were cooked perfectly and the meats were tender. Cafe Trung - Vietnamese Egg Coffee: strong and not overly sweet! Definitely would continue ordering Mango Milk tea: I really want to praise them for this because most places in Denver are too sweet and watered down. I could actually taste the black tea and mango in this drink and it paired so nicely with their salted cream.

Bo Heo is a new pho restaurant off of Colorado Blvd a bit south of I-25. This is not a location known for its Asian food and especially pho so I think it's a great addition to the neighborhood. There is plenty of parking so need to worry there. The pho itself is tasty and well-made although I wish it was slightly more flavorful. I wish they gave more veggie additions like mint, bean sprouts, and lime. A very small amount was given initially. I do like that you can choose up to 3 protein choices so it's more like a custom bowl. The service can be a bit better. We had to wait a while for everything, multiple orders were wrong, and just overall things could've been a bit improved. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great since it is new. Everything is clean including the seating area and the bathrooms.

This place might be my new go-to pho spot! The pho was warm, as were the people and environment! The staff were so friendly. The atmosphere is clean and warm in here and I really enjoyed my visit. I love that you're able to pick up to 3 different types of meat/tofu with your pho, so you can get the exact combo you want. I thought the portion size and the price was good as well. Would definitely come back soon!

Amazing find! I know Denver is known for Pho but I personally haven't found a place I love. Decided to check this place out before going to the Cherry Creek Mall and it did not disappoint. Had all the qualities I loo for in a restaurant - cleanliness, good service, and good food! We got the beef spring rolls and the small pho! Spring rolls - they were good but nothing out of the ordinary. I would say they had too much noodles compared to meat. I would say skip it Pho - loved the pho! Good broth. You don't need to add any sauce. They also had really good chili oil! Brought my cousin who is from northern Virginia and she confirmed it was one of the best phos she's ever had! It is a little far from where I live so I don't know how often I can come but I definitely would come back again. Their veggie pho also looked amazing. Friendly service as well! Definitely check it out!

I often order bún at Vietnamese restaurants, and this one was good enough to return for. The large, generous portion of shrimp were grilled perfectly, and the vegetables that typically accompany this dish were fresh and delicious. We patiently waited for the coffee to drip into the condensed milk, then mixed it up and poured it over the tall glass of ice provided. I love that their menu has your run of the mill options but they have a specials page with harder to find Vietnamese options, like banh xeo or banh canh cua. They do NOT have banh cuon though, just fyi. I read other reviews saying the banh canh cua and bun bo hue are really good here, and lemme tell you. The yelpers did not disappoint! Everything in the canh cua is hella good, especially the broth. All I added was lime, veggies, and a little chili oil. Perfection! I couldn't finish the bowl since we ordered a bunch of other stuff but canh cua keeps well so even heated up the next day, the noodles and everything were intact and yummy. It does come with blood cubes but if you aren't a fan, like myself, you can ask them to take it out. They have several BBH meat options but my BF went with the King bowl which has everything in it. We didn't realize that it comes with a giant beef bone on the side. Considering we ordered two of these for our 4 person table, our table was packed AF lol The BBH has a good flavor and depth, not that spicy, and if you like a lot of meat variety, this is the one for you. We also ordered spring rolls, eggrolls, banh it ram, and banh beo for the table. The banh it ram and banh beo were sooooooo freakin good. They stuff the chewy part of the banh it ram with a yummy pork filling, and the crunch on the bottom was such a good contrast to the chewiness of the mochi like top. I've had this dish a few times before but I have to say, O Lien does it best. You really have to dunk these things in the nuoc mam (sweet fish) otherwise it will taste a little plain. The banh beo were some of the best I've had. They really load these babies up with toppings, which I appreciate because some places are so stingy with the chicharrones and shrimp dust - thats the orange stuff on top. These were also a highlight for me, I love the sweet savory flavor, and the chewiness of the banh beo. This is another thing you kinda have to drown in nuoc ma for flavor and they're pretty big so kudos to you if you can one bite this. For me, I found it a little more appetizing to cut in half and scoop up with my spoon. The egg rolls were good, nothing crazy. Just a nice solid egg roll. I didn't try the spring rolls but my cousin said the sauce it came with didn't have a peanutty taste. It said it tasted more like soy sauce than anything.. so for him, he would pass. We popped in on a Sunday night at 7, and they had a whole waitlist with people waiting inside and outside. We were lucky and only had to wait about 15 minutes. They claim they close at 8 but they def had people seated past that. They're super busy and for good reason. The food is bomb! They're in a small plaza with a tiny lot, so you might catch a spot if you're lucky otherwise you'll have to find street parking, which shouldn't be too bad. The inside is fairly spacious, so they do get people moving in and our fairly quickly.

Not all Vietnamese restaurants serve it this way, so we do try to order it when we see it offered. * HS1. Sizzling Steak & Eggs $18.99 - We did ask for more bread to soak up the proteins on this dish. I'm not sure what happened because the bread took ridiculously long, and the restaurant had cleared up quite a bit by then. Most of our orders came out rather quickly, so it was weird with the long wait for the extra bread. I honestly think they forgot, and when someone finally remembered, it was put into the toaster to heat up then because it did arrive very hot versus the initial order. We had to get up and ask about it and two different waiters said it was coming out. Their house made chili oil definitely had a kick to it! Use it sparingly if it's your first go at it. We were curious about their Bun Bo Hue because there are so many options. The waiter did tell us it's their most popular dish and the pictures looked amazing. Overall, we had a good experience at O Lien Kitchen. The long wait for the bread did put a downer on the visit as it dragged on and the steak and eggs got cold as we waited. I initially wanted dessert but changed my mind since we were waiting so long. 3.5 stars
