I challenge you to find a fresher more delicious meal that serves 4 hungry adults for $40 in all of Denver. This is one of those hole in the walls that you don't find out about until somebody tells you. I was brought here by a friend who was born in China, and this is one of the very few Asian restaurants he will eat at in the city, and he brought us there to do the make your own spring rolls platter. It is a ton of food and I need you to understand that so you're gonna get a combination of pork, shrimp, chicken, beef, and lumpia with your traditional spring roll fillings so you'll have some pickled carrots, bean sprouts, rice noodles, lettuce, basil, mint, and additional garnishes to build your own spring rolls. They bring you a paper that you dip in the water and then there's a fish sauce, I also recommend asking for the dumpling and the peanut sauces. This is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine. The service was great, with staff bringing us multiple additional items/refills that we asked for throughout our meal. Wheelchair accessibility: the front door is light and it's zero entry. There's plenty of room to move around the tables and there are both table in booth seating so plenty of places that a wheelchair can fit. The bathroom doors are super light and the bathrooms are big enough to turn in; it is challenging to get up to the bathroom sink and reach the soap and paper towel towels from a wheelchair or if you're short statured, and the door handle and lock for the bathroom are a bit tricky if you have limited hand function read more

Our family of seven recently dropped in for a meal, and if there is one thing I can say for certain, it's that this kitchen does not believe in the word "small." We were eyeing the Golden Rice Paper Wrap plate and asked our server if one would suffice for the group. She suggested two. Friends, unless your family consists of seven competitive eaters training for a title, one is plenty! We left with enough leftovers to feed a small village (or at least our house for the next three days). The Golden Rice Paper Wrap plate portions are truly immense--consider yourselves warned! The Highlights: * The Shrimp Stars: The grilled shrimp paste and the grilled shrimp were the undisputed heavyweights of the day. Absolutely delicious. * The Pork: A crowd favorite that disappeared fast. The "Room for Improvement" Notes: * The Beef & Chicken: These were a bit of a "miss" for our group compared to the seafood superstars. * The Vibes: It has that very "lived-in" small business feel. Highly recommend this place for crispy spring rolls catering. They have two options; I recommend the one with rice paper because it's how Vietnamese people make them at home. The rieu/ crab paste was made of pieces of shrimp and ground pork, lacking in that crab flavor. This is the most important in Bun Rieu. They also didn't offer shrimp paste with it. We were too hungry to ask for it. Pho: 3/5 The broth was okay. We honestly weren't expecting much. This area has so many restaurants especially Vietnamese restaurants and their ratings on Yelp are quite good. So, we asked the cashier at an oriental grocery store. The cashier recommended this restaurant. We got there slightly after 5 pm. We were seated promptly and the server was very helpful. We ordered an egg rolls appetizer, a large beef and tendon Pho, a pork chop with rice, and a combination vermicelli dish (called Bun). The egg rolls appetizer was a surprise. It came with a large plate of assorted fresh herbs and veggies. The egg rolls were super crunchy. When wrapped in the lettuce with herbs and the fish sauce, they were so good. Could have made a meal out of that if I am by myself. The beef and tendon Pho was a bit off. The beef was a bit overcooked and the broth was blant. The grill pork with rice was good but the lemongrass flavor was not strong enough. The vermicelli was very good though. Packed with a variety of grilled meats, shrimps, and yes egg roll, too. The ole hole in the wall place I. Federal. Actually, it is very clean. The restaurant has been an establishment for 30+ years . All the viet locals visit this spot for over 30 years. It has currently changed owner ship and the place has had a facelift. My wife loves the combo rice plate, the bun Bo hue, the banh canh and the bun cha ca. They also have pho which I have not tried. I have bees here 5 times and have eating bun Bo hue 4 out of 5. I crave bun Bo hue and not to many place have this noodle bowl. I highly recommend bun Bo hue. Came here for our very first meal of the day around 3pm, hence, the "brunchinner" tag. The place was in a rundown strip mall but turned out to be just fine inside (typical Vietnamese eatery spot, I would say). We ordered banh canh and banh xeo (which was how we originally ended up here, by typing "banh xeo" in the search bar on Yelp). They brought out two generous sides of greens first, followed by our orders. Overall, both dishes were tasty. I like the fact that they didnt give us a tiny order of lettuce when we asked for extra, along with a side of attitude like some other places. However, the banh xeo got kinda oily and mushy toward the end, which is why I took 1 star off. Besides that, tasty food, nice staff, good portion and prices. My mom took us to this place while I am in town for the holidays. It seems like a family run restaurant. We came during holiday times, so it's cold outside and definitely cold inside. However, the noodle dishes will quickly warm you up! My mom ordered 2 orders of egg rolls, I forgot to take a picture but I was shocked at how many egg rolls come in just 1 order! It was definitely at least 5 egg rolls, which is a lot more than I've seen. The egg rolls were really good as well, almost tasted home made. I also like that the egg rolls come with a lot of lettuce and veggies to make wraps, I never seen it come like that at other restaurants. I ordered the bun bo hue, when it came out, it did not seem like a lot of food but as I ate, it was definitely a larger portion. Either that, the egg rolls filled me up! Again, they provided a heaping plate of veggies with the noodle dishes! They brought out 2 plates for 4 people, my mom had to send 1 plate back since it was more than plenty for 4 people. My favorite pho place in Colorado. I live in Arvada and I drive 30 mins to Denver when I'm craving pho, their pho is so good &' prices are so affordable it's worth the drive to me. Let me repeat myself, The broth is so delicious! It's a must to try it out! The staff do not speak English too well but are super nice. Love this place. The service is always prompt and everyone is super nice. However, if you're looking for pho I'd recommend trying elsewhere. Everything else on their menu is great though. I've had their golden platter (build your own spring rolls) and it's delicious, the portion is huge and it's super cheap (~$22 feeds about 4). My friend tried their bun rieu (spicy crab soup) and she loved it. My favorite dish to order here is their congee soup. Hands down one of the best that I've had in colorado. This little hole in the wall, never lets me down! The pho, marinated shrimp freshrolls, crab cream cheese app, imperial rolls, and grilled combo noodle bowls are ordered often. The broths and marinates here really set it apart. They have milkshakes too, I don't think they have the boba pearls, but those aren't a deal breaker. I recommend sharing everything, so you can make it through all the epic choices. If you don't get anything else, and can eat shrimp order those grilled marinated shrimp freshrolls served with peanut dipping sauce. I have eaten a ton of the these across America and beyond, and these are a version I fantasize over. The inside is great for feeling comfy inside, and eating mass quantities of tasty treats, but may not be the best place to take a first date, that is if your date is materialistically driven, and not food motivated. My adventurous son strayed from our many favorite places along South Federal to try Golden Pho last night. I was home sick with a cold and originally wanted soup, but then suddenly nothing sounded good to me. I told him just bring something, didn't care what, would probably just put it in the fridge. He brought me Vietnamese wonton soup that was marvelous! I managed to eat two big bowls and still had about half left, so it was mammoth.
