Was craving some soup when I was sick. I ordered the chicken pho and the wing starter. There's an up charge for lemon pepper seasoning but it was delicious! The pho was really good as well and they give you enough on the side to make a few servings. The lychee me tea was also good. I'd order everything else again. Service was excellent. Ample parking out front. Great spot all in all.

Finally tried this place for lunch with a friend and we enjoyed our meals. I had the Pho Soup and she had one of the rice dishes. We also ordered egg rolls. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was exceptionally clean. Thats always a plus. The food was tasty and the awevice was great. The server explained a lot to us, was patient and friendly. We also got the smoothie tea which I love the golden girl. Maybe its the purple but the taste is delicious. I'm sure I'll be back!

Hands down it's the absolute BEST king cake I've ever tasted and trust me, I've tasted dozens. So, when I found out they were going to have mini king cakes for 4th of July, I had to get one. Made it there about 7:30 am, line was wrapped. By the time they opened at 8, they had already given out all available tickets. These are high demand. This time, the crawfish pies were just coming out so I tried one of those. The dough was a bit sweet but flaky. Inside.. was interesting. There was crawfish of course and there was a vegetable, I can't make out which one. The pie was a different flavor than I'm used to. Sweet and Savory and I tasted like there was a bit of Italian dressing or something in it. I'll try a meat one next time.

The moment we stepped inside the bakery, we were greeted right away. Staff were fast and friendly. Staff help assorted us with any questions we had. Bought some foods to try. I tried the cold cut banh mi. It was good. Bread was crispy and lots of filling. Bought some taro, white bean, black bean, corn desserts (Che) and jelly to try. All were delicious especially on a hot day. Bought some pastries which were limited at the end of the day. Got some chaud pork with onion, crawfish pie, meat pie, baked bao which all had great pastry taste, but the filling wasn't the greatest for me I guess. So, I did come back another day and got some pate chaud with bbq pork. Now that was delicious to my taste buds! I tried the green combo bánh bao and that was delicious as well!

I had very humble beginnings, had to make do with very little. Spam was a frequent protein for our meals, and I ate everything on my plate, because it wasn't much and we couldn't afford to waste. My young childhood growing up in a one parent household in Tallahassee, FL is probably at the root of me not wanting to share this, because I don't want to share long waits and a packed restaurant with everyone, I want to keep it all to myself. But, I am taking a leap of faith that my group centered behavior will reward my brains pleasure centers and fill me with self rewarding feelings as a result of sharing my thoughts about this gem in THE Dell. Koi's simply has the best sushi my son and I have ever had. We love our sushi, and we've eaten it everywhere within 50 miles of Slidell, and obviously all over the country, FL,WA,NC, SC, CA, etc.... The specialty rolls at Koi's are simply a work of art, and in a class all to their own. Nowhere comes close in my opinion. The flavor profiles can be so diverse and deliciously contrasting, every bite we take, we look at each other and simply cannot resist saying "O.M.G, so freaking good"! Our go to favorites are the Assassin, Independence, and the Rip Curl. My son swears that Nobu downtown New Orleans has the best quality ingredients for nigiri or sashimi lovers, but if you like great quality ingredients with a flavor adventure in every bite with your specialty roll selections, Koi's for the win. Do not sleep on this place, Slidell. Service is consistently great here as well. Friendly, timely, efficient, and we've seen similar faces for years now, which only helps validate this place is truly special. My perspective, they all feel invested in the guest experience, and I'm just grateful we have the opportunity to enjoy their service and food creations. Oh, did I mention EXCELLENT VALUE as well? Thank you, Koi's. Amazing!

I had a roll and a spicy tuna hand roll that was stuffed with yummy tuna. Husband had some kind of Chinese dish that was full of meat and shrimp. It was a huge portion and enough to take home for tomorrow. I can't wait to go back. My new favorite sushi spot in Slidell.
