I searched Yelp for a midway point between Riverside and HB to meet my son . It's been awhile since we had deli sandwiches and Board and Brew had great reviews. The food was excellent, I ordered the Baja chicken wrap- full of flavor and packed with protein. My husband ordered the Cobb salad which he said was good too. Generous amounts of chicken and very nice presentation. The place is super cute, it has a bar with beer, it also has a very nice patio area. It seems like Board & Brew has been around forever, yet I'd never been, so when a friend suggested we meet there for lunch I figured it was about time I check the place out. There is an ample amount of outdoor seating and there's also plenty of seating inside. It's a very laid back kind of environment, definitely giving off beach day vibes. The food menu is up on the wall as you come in. Orders are placed at the counter and brought to your table when it's ready. When we arrived at 11AM there was plenty of open seating and only one other person placing an order. But by the time we were leaving tho, the place was PACKED! Every table both inside and outside was occupied. I would have never imagined Board & Brew was THIS popular! Ordering was quick and easy and our orders came up pretty quickly. Both the cashier and person who bought us our food were friendly and efficient. My friend and I both ordered the Beef Dip sandwich. Somehow I've managed to go through life with never having tried horseradish, so I requested that it came on the side. Okay, well, I was NOT expecting the heat to go right up to my nose ~ phew!! Even so, it went really well with the beef dip. The roll itself was crunch yet fluffy in all the right places. As is, I would have preferred it to have more beef, but as a whole it was still pretty tasty. Perhaps next time I'll see about getting extra meat. So now I know why they've been around forever. I live in the San Diego area but visit OC often. I do eat at Board and Brew near home. This place was hopping but I found a seat at the bar. They have outside tables but it was hot on the day I was there. Sandwiches are excellent and they have a good selection and variety of beers. Well the food our sandwiches anyway were very good and the bread tasted like they just made it. I had a BLT with turkey meat but they only put 2 slices of thin turkey meat on my sandwich so if you want more protein for your money you'll have to go elsewhere cause ive never been served a sandwich ever with 2 thin slices of meat folded over to look like it contains more meat otherwise my sandwich tasted good. Love Board & Brew sandwiches. They usually have a good selection of beers but normally we order for pick up. They are pretty consistent (you get what you expect) but every one in a while there is no seasoning on the chips or small portion of toppings on the sandwich. Will always be a great option for bringing sandwiches to the beach or camping. This location has lots of parking and lots of seating. I happen to be staying in a hotel adjacent and I had previously eaten at Board n Brews, 1or2 times over the past decades that I lived in California. I went in and asked a waiter "Brett" what he recommended and he said "hot or cold"? I told him both but, I wanted something I could eat tonight and then have the other half for breakfast. He gave me his suggestions, a spicy beef or Baja wrap. I chose the Baja Wrap to go but while I was waiting, he asked if I would like to sample one of their beers. I'm not usually a beer person but, he gave me a sample of a Calif IPA called "old abbey". I asked the guy behind the counter for a recommendation on their best sandwich and he suggested the Turkado sandwich. It was a turkey sandwich on sourdough with lettuce, onions, mayo, and tomato. Pretty basic. It also came with a sweet and sauce which, honestly, was not a great pairing with the sandwich. The sandwich itself was just okay--nothing special, and I feel like I could've made something similar at home. Overall, the experience was fine, but the sandwich was underwhelming. I'm kind of a Board & Brew connoisseur at this point and the Del Mar location will always have my heart. The 3 stars are for the food only because it's always solid. I usually rotate between the Turkado, Turkey Deluxe, Cali, or Veggie, and honestly, props to B&B for keeping the taste, quality, and presentation consistent no matter where you go in SoCal. That said, this Anaheim Hills location just isn't it. The staff seemed checked out ;kind of high, not friendly, and not really interested in helping customers. I've been to probably 10 other B&B spots, and this was totally off-brand for them. Super disappointing.If I could give some constructive feedback, I'd say have the Del Mar crew come up and train the Anaheim Hills team...they could use a reminder of what makes Board & Brew awesome in the first place read more

It's just not the same anymore, and not necessarily specific ingredients but the final product. This particular location has gotten less consistent over the years I've lived in AH which is going on 5. So when I share that I'm bummed to write my review, I am, I don't want the end product to be bad, and I'm not going to ever complain to a manager, that's not my style, I'm usually the one that will eat the order when the wrong thing came out, also to mention almost all of my orders are to go. I totally get being human, and mistakes, but if the output is just not good or the wrap is brittle especially when you pay more for the upgrade, and stuff is missing it's pretty annoying.
