We're always looking for a good beer/wine and sandwich place. They've been open in this location for about 6 months, and the place was hopping at 2 in the afternoon. All ages were there enjoying a meal. The sandwiches were superb and the staff were top notch. Although we can't attest to the beer or wine, I was pleasantly surprised they had Mexican Cola for sale. The sandwich was tasty. But I specifically said no lettuce because i can't eat lettuce but the sandwich had tiny bits of lettuce all over it, so i had to dig those pieces of the sandwich. Based on good reviews I ordered through grubhub and it was the worst meal I've received during all the time I've been taking advantage of delivery services. Do not eat here. My husband brought home my sandwich last night and it was completely wrong, missing the ham I paid extra for, lettuce was all over it, so I called and they offered me a new sandwich I could pick up the next day. So I go in today to pick one up, they make it wrong again, so I go back in and ask them to please give me the right sandwich they then proceed to just take off the lettuce in the back and send it back out, not even taking it all off. Finally, I tell the lady again it's wrong so she goes back and takes my ticket to them to get it remade the right way and then just hands it to me and walks away. There was no apology for any of it, even after it happened multiple times. The staff is rude and clearly does not care about their customers. We will not be back here. read more

The Left Coast Pastrami is amazing! They cook the pastrami like it is bacon which just takes it over the top especially if you add their secret sauce. The potato salad is to die for as well. Hubby had the roast beef spicy which he enjoyed but had to remove some of the jalapeños because they overpowered the yummy beef and onions. Best sandwich shop in Oceanside!! Hands down. First time visiting and the person at the register was so excited to hear it!! I asked what was recommended and I was told about 3 or 4 sandwiches that were to die for. My husband and I settled for the Turkado! His with sprouts, mine without! We were NOT disappointed!!! We took them to go, and when we got home we shared a bite with our our kids. (Only one bite, I couldn't spare sharing any more than that) both boys loved it and asked for my other half. I've always loved this place in the past, but I picked up multiple sandwiches yesterday before closing and they all tasted terrible!!! On top of that I was treated rudely by the guy at the front! I called in to talk about my experience and expected my sandwiches to be remade as my family and I didn't eat them because they were so nasty!!! I was told there was nothing they could do! They didn't offer a refund or a remake! Talk about ZERO customer service!!! What a waste of time and money! Extremely happy they opened up this location which is much closer to where I live. Overall, the food is fantastic. There is nothing different about this location food wise. The location is much bigger and more suited to drink a beer and hangout. I've tried the Baja Chicken, Baja Beef, Chicken Club, Turkado, and Italian Sub. Nothing has been disappointing. My favorite though is the Baja Chicken and add avocado. So good! I do always get my sauce o moths side as well. They do allow you to sub ingredients and also remove any you may not like. Staff has always been friendly. Glad this location is now open and looking forward too many more sandwiches! read more

2019: Good sandwiches, but small for the price. The HIGH price. Honestly, these prices are crazy high for what you get. It's a fast food joint, in many ways, and you get nothing additional with the sandwich. This place is the best! Now that this location is closer to me it has become my go to sandwich shop. Every single sandwich I have tried here is excellent. Each sandwich is huge and I always end up taking half home. Something else I appreciate is that they have some untraditional toppings like sunflower seeds. One more thing I really enjoy is that when you get avocado on a sandwich it's mashed so there isn't pieces coming out everywhere and you actually get a decent amount. Lastly, the sandwiches here always last. I have had a sandwich here and took the other half home and it stays together just as it was even two days later. I really enjoy coming here, the staff is always excellent and super nice as well. Overall, I have never had a bad experience or even an okay experience so I would totally recommend this place.
