My cat Charlie has been a visitor since 2007 while Chester, my newbie, has been staying with her since 2016. I boarded my cat with my vet once out of need, which was ok, but double the price and my cat didn't get the same care, play time and attention like she does at Kitty Kamp. I love my vet but prefer Kitty Kamp for boarding my cats.

There are thoughtfully placed gates and holding areas that insure the dogs are kept safe. Laminated cards keep track of the regulars' needs. And I wish my house smelled as clean as Dogtropolis. Most of all, Buddy is getting the exercise and socialization that he needs. After a day of playing with his four legged friends, he is content to lay on the patio while we enjoy dinner. I am delighted with Dogtropolis and Buddy loves them. A tired dog is a trainable dog.

My dog needs a monthly prescription medication that is $50 through Carrollton Animal Hospital. This same medicine was $20-$25 at Thompson Animal Hospital, Lisbon Veterinary Clinic, Minerva Veterinary Clinic, and others. In an attempt to keep my business local, I tried to fulfill my order through Chewy/1800 pet meds and this was also denied by Carrollton Animal Hospital. They refuse to work with outside pharmacies; however, everyone one of the above listed clinics said they would work with these outside/online pharmacies. I requested to get a written prescription so that I was able to do the leg work required myself and order the medication. Again this was also denied. This is against the American Veterinary Medical Association policies as shown below, and per the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board this is not required but poor practice to deny a request. Much to my relief I was told it was a chronic mass of dermatitis. Worry gone....so I thought. Less than a month later my dog stopped eating and throwing up. Take him back only to be informed that my dog had terminal liver cancer and only had weeks to live. How do you miss terminal liver cancer?? My dog did NOT go from gonna live till an old age to terminal liver cancer in 3 weeks!!!!! Over $2000 in surgery to remove a mass and biopsy's only to have him be put to sleep less than a month after the surgery. Such a sham and shame on the vets. Pre-covid, they would use gabapentin to sedate her. After Covid, they would not even take her and we had to go elsewhere. I was finally able to return here with her because I was always satisfied with her services. But... the last couple of visits were challenging in that my cat was becoming more agitated and harder to handle. The last appointment was senior blood panel, exam, and groom. She came home and was limping pretty badly and not engaging like she used to. 3 weeks later, my cat is gone. I don't think she received the quality of care that she used to. I can't say what happened during that office visit as I'm not back there, but I think she was not handled very gently and actually quite roughly to be honest. Pet care is not cheap and it's no wonder there are so many needing homes. But this hurts because I don't think the care is adding up. Medicine is not the new marketing. Sadly I won't be getting another pet for quite some time.

These vets are compassionate, gentle, and very knowledgeable. The amount of time you get for an appointment is by far the most I have ever encountered. They answer all of my *many* questions and concerns, have patiently taught me how to administer medication, and of course they love cats. They also avoid excessive testing & medicating which I really appreciate. Some places will try to do X-rays, ultrasounds, and other unnecessary things right off the bat. Each time my cat has been ill, I received follow up communication to check in on his improvement. I could not be happier and am so grateful to have them as our vet!

I usually take my dog 3-4 times a year and I always just cold call and I've never had to wait more than a week. Which is another thing I noticed with other groomers. I had called a couple other ones and it was a very long wait or they said they aren't taking any new customers. But yeah, for the price(which has stayed exactly the same) and how well they trim and clip and clean his teeth Canine Kingdom is my goto groomer. Every time I take Murry I drop him off.
