I wish I could give them negative stars!!…read more They failed to ever diagnose the boat, and started doing work on what we said we thought it might be without knowing for sure. He then tried to put in a rebuilt part vs a new one without asking us what we wanted to do he did work without getting our approval. Then he had the nerve to get angered with us when we told him it was illegal to do work on any automotive vessel without customer approval. He then refused to do any more work, stopped replying to calls and texts, and left our boat taken apart. They never provided us with any invoice or any receipts to show us what they actually did, I think because they never did anything at all and were just trying to take our money. We had to bring it elsewhere to get fixed and it costs us over twice as much as it should have because of the incompetence and unethical business practices done by the Chandlery. We found pieces of the boat that should have been reattached sitting in the cup holders. The boat was left in shambles complete a mess dirty (shoe prints all over the seats) and not put back together. I think they saw 2 younger people and thought they could scam us. There's a reason they aren't accredited by the better business bureau. I'm now looking into small claims court.

Don't let the Chandlery touch your boat, they don't know what they are doing and have horrible…read morecustomer service. During an annual fluid change preformed by the Chandlery, they did not install the oil filter properly, causing 6 liters of oil dumped in the hull of my boat. They apologized and said they would make it right, clean all the oil out and make it new again. Unfortunately after having the boat in their possession for two weeks, and multiple opportunities they were not able to clean all the oil. They tried and said it was the best that they could do, but they simply did not have the equipment or knowhow to clean the oil out. So I requested that we go to a 3rd party to clean the boat, they said fine and I would let them know the cost. I took the boat to a professional boat shop and luckily they were able to get it clean. It cost me over $500 and the Chandlery will not pay for it, saying they could have had it done by their vendor for cheaper. Weird thing is they never even offered. Not only was I over charged for the oil change, the Chandlery will not reimburse me for the clean out. Honestly, I was not upset with the mistake. I gave the Chandlery plenty of patience and opportunity, it is just sad that they will not make it right...and rude about it too. Stay away!

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more If I could give a zero star rating I would. Look up PCS Marine out of Pittsburg CA, Thomas's old company. Who leaves a client, moves to Florida abruptly with his family leaving our boat in worse shape than it was given to them in the first place? This company!!! Worst part of it is they took nearly $18,000 from us to only sand down our boat, which the shop that actually did fix it said they should have never done and was unprofessional. Thomas Schmidt lied to my husband for two years saying he was working on our family boat. The only thing he did was hack it, steal, and take off saying he went bankrupt. He also tried to say that he told my husband that based on the damage that our boat had it would be low priority to work and that it should have cost way more. We never asked him to submit a false invoice for the work that was needed. We were give that proposal, thinking we would be back on the water in a year and enjoying it with our family once again. I can't even tell you the disappointment my boys shared in getting our boat back, worse than the day we brought it in. I have a TON of pictures and invoices for the work they "said" the cost would cover. Thomas Schmidt "seemed" like he was trying to help our family from the beginning, working with the insurance as hard as he could. We now know it was so he could steal our money from under our nose. He would even call my husband at random times and talk about his family and problems which made us feel like he was being an honest person. Don't pay for anything like we did until your work is done. We know, very stupid on our part!! That is the ultimate mistake that we made with this poor excuse of a human being. Don't be scammed, beware of this company. Photos are how we got out boat back from them after giving them the money up front because that is the only way they would do the work. They had out boat for TWO YEARS, more than enough time to get the work done.

Thomas previously was doing business as PCS Marine in Pittsburg, California. I took my boat to him…read morein 2012 to have an overheating issue diagnosed and he found out my 350 motor had been damaged by a faulty head gasket and needed to be rebuilt to the tune of $3000+. I told him there was no way I could afford that as I was recovering from Kidney Cancer Surgery and was all tapped out financially from not working. I told him that I would pick-up my boat and would just have to let it sit inoperable. Thomas called me back the next evening saying not to worry about my boat, that he had talked to customers/friends about my situation and that they had pledged enough money to pay for my motor to be rebuilt. I started crying on the phone at their awesome display of generosity and told Thomas to thank them all for me. He told me it would take awhile to do the work as it would be when he had free time from paying customers, to which I said that was no problem. I checked back with him every month or so just to see how things were progressing and even paid him $800 as he said my engine block was bad and he had to buy a rebuild-able core motor. He eventually sent me photos showing my boat with the old motor removed and the new motor sitting next to it on a stand. After nine months, my boat still wasn't finished so I called to talk to Thomas and he started yelling at me and told me to come get my boat off his property. I went there and saw he had put my old damaged motor back in my boat. I tried talking to him but he just started cursing at me and told me to GTF off his property. Thomas Schmidt stole $800 from me in addition to however much money his customers/friends had given towards repairing my boat. In the unlikely event this horrible person is still in business, don't let him con you into being another victim.

Look no further, these are the best in the business!!…read more Excellent service & professional work! Bought two 1993 jet skis that haven't been ran since 2007!! Called numerous places throughout Northern California but was turned me down everywhere because they are 10+ years old. Found NorCal watercraft on Yelp and decided to give them a call to see if they can inspect & do a much needed tune-up in hopes of being able to run these skis before the summer ended. They said no problem bring them in . They were up & running within a timely manner. Took them to the river this weekend & they both ran great like new. They also educated me as I am a beginner with water-crafts, what to do & look for, how to properly winterize, and answered all my questions. Highly recommend!!! They have earned my business forever!!!

I was pressed for time and had a small window to get this done. I called and spoke to Nathan and he was able to accommodate my schedule and get the job done and on time. A bit about the service. I did receive a call from Nathan about my jet skis and he was able to thoroughly provide a status and clearly explained what he found. My main concern was the switch, he tested the switch and the relay and everything was good. He told me how to rectify the problem and did not recommend changing any parts. I asked about replacing with new parts and he told me it would function the same. I appreciated his honesty and was pleased he did not take advantage of an opportunity to make more money! The customer service was outstanding! I talked to both Nathan and Marina and they both were nice and pleasant. When I arrived they both greeted me and helped me unhook my trailer. When I came to pick up my jet skis, Nathan showed me my old parts and explained what was done. Marina took my payment and they both assisted with hooking up my trailer. I definitely will be back to winterize and service my jet skis. Great job Nathan and Marina!
