They gave me a list of things I had to get fixed, things I should replace since we were going into the engine and things That I could replace but didn't need to right now. I talked over all of the options with them and just had a good conversation on what they would do if it was their boat. No pressure to go any route, just good advice and common sense. I thought maybe my ujoints might to be replaced since that's the only thing that wasn't replaced when CCBW had last serviced it. Instead..I find the gimbal bearing had disintegrated and that the ujoints were a little rusty but not in a compromised condition. Keep in mind that CCBW had supposedly replaced the gimbal bearing, all bellows, seals, etc. less than a year ago and the boat had only been in the water 6 times since (about 30hrs). You be the judge!! I have more to add to my experience w them from when I had initially brought my boat to them for the service but I ain't got time for that right now. I'm calling them up first thing in the morning and best believe the BBB will be hearing from me again also, if I don't get a positive outcome. What a way to start the summer!!

Bobby the mechanic was great, and managed to clean the oilpan of debris without having to lift the engine. Also got the fuel injectors serviced, new prop shaft, balanced the prop etc etc. Everything went great. Clint the electrician and woodworker fix up some of the shady electrical systems from the previous owner and replace with a proper switch, nicely installed and also fixed the engine instruments. Excellent work. Alex was our project manager. He consistently kept us updated on what was happening, what new things had come up, our options etc. There's an excellent store onsite for everything DIY while there. All in all the work was on time, went well and everything was great.

The samples were small, and the cost had multiple zeros, making it even more overwhelming. One of my daughters, who is a high-functioning autistic adult, lives with me. The reason I mention this is because everyone who worked on the project treated her with the respect and consideration she deserves. We genuinely loved having them here. In fact, we enjoyed pranking them a bit, which helped me manage the chaos of demolition, the financial anxiety, and the constant question of, "Am I making the right choices?"
