Had dinner there this evening. The service was good, however the food was disappointing. I had the Mahi tacos and French fries which were ok. My wife had the Grouper dinner with mashed potatoes. She said the fish was good however the mashed potatoes were cold, inexcusable for a supposedly upscale restaurant and forty-five dollars. Subsequently I am offended being charged an automatic 18% service charge for a mediocre meal. I know this policy has become fairly standard in the area and I feel this policy would be fair if the complete dining experience was worth the automatic gratuity. Fortunately the wait staff at the various restaurants in the area mention this policy before you place your order. During the COVID epidemic when hospitality workers and restaurants were struggling we were willing and happy to help these folks out but now we are well past that and I think putting "the hook" in your clientele now given the significant price increases in food and drink and adding an additional charge is excessive and actually causing restaurant goers feeling the ultimate cost is not a value anymore for the experience. Many of us now feel that home dining is a better value given the cost and food quality despite needing to shop, prepare, and clean up the meal. We are dining out less these days for those reasons despite the effort required to dine DIY. Suggest the restaurant industry figure this out, if you are going to charge premium prices, then provide a premium product and service before your business implodes because the value proposition is no longer there. read more

Free parking lot! That's rare at times in a downtown area. We made a reservation for early lunch and we were able to sit outside with a good view. They were also setting up merchants and music talents out on the patio nearby so that was great to see. The waitress was very polite; she helped us decide on the appetizers and meals. My salmon was delicious. I enjoyed the bean medley underneath but not a fan of the sticky rice. Overall, great experience. read more

Came here for a self date dinner and wow was I impressed!! I had outdoor seating which was beautiful because of the water view and breeze! The waitress was sooo kind and attentive to me which I know can be difficult because I was alone haha! I ordered the chips, salsa, and guacamole for appetizers which was super yummy! for entree I got the beet spinach salad with salmon! This restaurant is in a really cool location and is dog friendly. The service was okay, and they do charge a 3.5% fee for credit cards which I have never seen a restaurant do before. The food was good, but nothing special. A good place to go if you're in downtown Stuart and want a view of the water while you eat. read more

Stuart boat house is a great spot for happy hour or dinner after a day in the boat. There is a boat dock with open public boat parking. We always have kiddos with us so they put families up stairs on the second level. There's a single restroom available and a small bar up there. We've been here 2 or 3 times and the service is always wonderful. We had a party of 17 this round and they nailed all the orders. All food was delivered super fast and still hot/fresh. I always have the poke bowl or sushi roll. You can't go wrong either way. My husband always gets the blackened Mahi snadwich. Great portion and the fries are amazing! Water views, tasty food, great services, perfect combo for a great restaurant. read more

Beautiful location right on the water. We arrived at 12:00 and let the hostess know our party would be 10 people but would not arrive until around 12:30 (only 4 of us arrived together). They couldn't hold anything for us as they stated reservations were only taken 3 hours prior to seating. That was understandable and fine with us...the restaurant was empty on the inside and half way full on the outside. We took a few seats at the bar and ordered drinks. In that 30 minutes the place filled up pretty quickly and we knew there was going to be an issue seating us all. When everyone arrived they were able to seat 9 so my husband and I just stayed at the bar and everyone else sat at the table and we were fine with this. We ordered a half dozen oysters at the very steep price of $26.00. We have never had to pay that kind of money for 6 small oysters. They were good but not $26 good. My husband ordered the blackened mahi with fries. I ordered a half Caesar salad and the new england chowder. My caesar was a side salad at best. Very small and shouldn't have cost $8 more like a $3 caesar. My chowder was different but good a little spicy and darker than I'm used to. It did not taste like a new england chowder. Again, good but not new england chowder. Service was very slow at the bar and food came out after a long wait (several other people around us that ordered after us got their meals rather quickly but there were two bartenders and they had the other). When they delivered our bill they pointed out the automatic 18% gratuity for our awareness. Our lunch total for 2 draft beers each (at $7.75 each wow) and our son's $4 sprite and our food came to $123.22. Our 6 oysters were more expensive than my husbands blackened mahi sandwich and fries. Crazy prices. Would I go back...frankly no. Service wasn't great, food was just okay and the prices just didn't match up to any of it. As I was walking out the door I saw there was a board with the special of the day for diver scallops and truffle mashed potatoes for $26 that I would have loved to have tried instead of the oysters but we weren't aware of it. read more

Will not be back. Ordered a gin & tonic and it was flat. The menu prices are way less than what we were charged. $36 for Mahi and $20 for a small order of wings. I ordered dry rub wings and a different waiter brought out the wtong wings to me so by the time they brought my food out my son was finished eating. They took the drink off but never did anything fpr giving me the wrong wings and having to wait. Tried using a giftcard that said it couod be used at Boathouse and was told we couldn't. BEWARE they charged a 3.5 % charge if you use a credit card. Go elsewhere if you want a good drink and setvice. Also was put at a table next to a tree with no view and bugs. Went with friends, I enjoyed! I had the grilled shrimp wrap with a hold on the bacon. It was really good, the lettuce and things in it were crisp and fresh, the shrimp were large and nicely cooked. I loved the somewhat spicy sauce in it, just the right amount. Coleslaw was fresh. Another had the tuna pokey, it wasn't called that, she loved it, looked beautiful. I Reserved a table for 3 for Thanksgiving with table by the window. When I received my confirmation it said downstairs which is what I wanted. We arrived and were seated upstairs in a room by a window BUT we were the only people up there NO ONE ELSE.
