This is probably my favorite and most frequented Hurricane's location. The patio is (imo) the best outdoor eating space in Palm City, with tons of seating, regular events like trivia, and plenty of tv's with sports on. On our last visit, our server was Faith and she was fantastic. We were a table of 8, and we couldn't have asked for more superb staff. Faith was friendly and funny from the start, and did a great job with our big group. Service here is generally timely, this visit was no exception. Even for an 8 top, the food came out quickly, hot and fresh. Our orders ranged from fajita bowls to wings to "can you please make this custom sandwich" for my pescatarian sister. Every dish came out wonderful and only one of us needed a box. This is a space that I love hanging out with my family in. The menu is vast. The wing sauces are top tier (best medium buffalo sauce in the state). Even picky eaters will find something they love here. So first time headed here! Won't be back. Went and sat at the outdoor bar and actually got a seat. It was happy hour. There's probably 12 people there. It took her a few minutes to come and serve our beer, then we were almost done with the first beer and chatting then we asked for a food menu. It's freaking dinner time. We went for some good bar food and watch our team play. We were able to bring our two dogs to the outside area which was perfect as we were all out and about. The service was good, our waiter was friendly and efficient and liked our dogs . I ordered the chicken fingers and double fries, to share . It was fabulous, the chicken was moist on the inside and had a crunchy, tasty outside, just what you want in chicken tenders! I really enjoyed 4 chicken tenders, with teriyaki sauce which were perfectly cooked and delicious sauce (next time I'll order the sauce on the side. July 4th, our cycling club held a ride out of this Hurricanes location. We all rolled in about 1030-1045am just prior to opening. We were thirsty and hungry! The club was paying for all the Apps and as there were at least 20 of us, the server had a challenge. Hanna and her team were all over it! Pitchers of ice cold water were speedily delivered. Pitchers of 'other' beverages right behind that. App orders taken, delivered and enjoyed. Some ordered entrees afterwards, some ordered more beverages. Recently ordered two fish sandwiches for takeout. All we got was 2 fish sandwiches. Just 2. That cost us $52. For $52, you would think they would be the best thing you ever had. Sadly, they were not. The fish was overcooked. Mine came with a side of rice. Rice is about the easiest thing in the world to cook. Billions of people do it correctly every day. But not this Hurricanes. I can't even describe what they did to this rice. It was lumpy and hard and definitely not fresh. One day, I will write a book about how bad this rice really was. I am very disappointed. There is a reason why yelp exists. The reviews of this place are the reason. Walked in and the bar wasn't too inviting. Perhaps they should coordinate the lighting and the drop ceiling. The server was sweet and accommodating...we ordered wings that were under cooked. The idea of eating pinkish chicken wasn't palatable. Sent them back. Decided to order a side of fries. When they came it looked like someone had eaten half of them. Went to say something to the server who immediately looked at the them and noted the order seemed a little light. The manager had a tantrum at the service window as the server was explaining the issue. Apparently $4.69 buys you One and a half fried potatoes including the plastic basket. Had we kept the fries we would have taken the basket home. Shame on you for your lack of professionalism. We won't be coming returning which is a shame as we both moved in the area. Not one person in the kitchen was wearing a mask! These are the people breathing all over your food before it's served. When I asked about it, I was told that the servers have to wear masks because they're front of house and they had received complaints about servers not masking up, but the guys in the back are by themselves. I've been here a handful of times each year and I regret to say this place is in serious decline. I don't know if it stems from piss poor leadership or the world we suffer in general. I had to wait a lot several times but that wasn't nearly as bothersome as the cold attitude when I needed another drink. She looks at me as if I killed her cat. I've been there a few times and I've tipped generously (except for tonight after I've had enough of her attitude) so it is mind boggling to figure out why I get the hate from her. I also had front row seats to some drama between her and a random douchebag bar back who aired out his frustration with her in front of God and everyone else. I can appreciate that the job sucks, and a lot of us deal with shitty jobs. But don't take out your frustrations on me when I'm there to forget my troubles with a decaying world. Save your shit for later when you aren't serving customers. Who runs this shit show? If you can't serve drinks with even a modicum of happiness, you really need to find another job. Have been a customer here for many years. The service is never great, neither is the food, but it's a local place where i always see friends. Today my husband and I went in ONLY because of an advertisement they had on their Facebook page(see attached pic). Not only did they not honor it, they acted as though I was lying about it even though I was showing it to them directly from their Facebook page. The manager was rude and handled the situation extremely poorly. If it's advertised you should honor it whether it was a "mistake" that is was on the fb page or not, that's not my fault. I was down in florida in october, but totally forgot to review Hurricane Grill! Let's blame it on the trauma of my nanny's death! I was staying with my cousins and they had the take out menu for Hurricane. All the wing varieties sounded insane. There is nothing I love more than good wings. The best wings are the fire&ice. These are the perfect balance of fire and heat. The sauce is a mix of buffalo and horseradish. They are so amazing. Everyone was happy here from the 10 and 12 yr old to the grown ups. They had a great variety of seasonal beers too. Although it was weird to have a pumpkin ale in october when it's 80 out. Florida you befuddle me! I liked that you could have broccoli with your dinner, sometimes bar/grille places like this have very little in the way of vegetable offerings! Gold rush wings are pretty good! Not many places to get good wings since the rise and fall of hooters in the early 2000s but Hurricane Grill gets the job done. Its VERY similar (almost erie) to Buffalo Wild wings. You know the drill, "get wings, chicken fingers or boneless wings rolled with one of a gazillion different sauces liked round the world by men women and children". I tried two sauces: Gold Rush and Firecracker. Gold rush wings were pretty good (as noted above) you can taste the classic buffalo wing sauce with a kick of honey they perfected the balance of hot and sweet. GOOD JOB. Firecracker on the other hand? missed the mark...by the size of something huge. I dont know where the name came from but there was nothing fire or cracking about the wings they were bland and tasteless. Good fries and pretty good wings make this place worthy of a repeat trip. read more
