This is a casual, go up to the counter and order, restaurant. A server will then bring your food to your table when ready. Portions are large so two people with light appetites could easily share. We got two plates; gyro and chicken. Both were very tasty! The cucumber salad could have been fresher, that was the only food item that could have been better. Everything else was really good. Marvelous street gyros! The meat was a mix of roasted beef and lamb which was seasoned just right. The toasted pita kept it all together without becoming a soggy mess. For me the amount of Taziki was just right. I had as a side the roasted potatoes which were really great. My wife had the tomato and cucumber salad which she loved. Next time we are going to order the salad bowls in which you can add your protein. They looked great. My Greek is a little rusty but could still read the condiment containers, which says this isn't Food Service truck supplies. The staff were VERY friendly and welcoming and the owner came by to say hi and check on how our meal was. This is our new favorite nearby Greek cafe. See you there! read more

Friendly staff and super clean! Two of my favorite things! I just finished working out and wanted something fresh ish so I ordered the harissa chicken gyro and it was super flavorful and packed with fresh vegetables and delicious sauce. The tomato cucumber salad was so much better than I was expecting it to be; and with lots of feta! The hubs had the beef gyro and said he loved it and would definitely be ordering it again. We came in hungry and each could only finish half so the portions are pretty good sized. Next time I'll try out some of the sauces with pita. But for now, I'm very satisfied. read more

Stopped by about 8 pm and the palace was clean and bright. The food was delivered quickly. We shared a terrific tomato bisque with a feta garnish. I had the lamb burger; it was juicy and flavorful. I've been to better Taziki's. I ordered a Greek Salad with lamb. The wife ordered a beef gyro with pasta salad. Her dish came out super quick and she was almost done with her's when mine showed up. A little background: we've spent time stationed in Europe and enjoyed weekends in Greece, so we have a good sense of traditional Mediterranean flavors. We both ordered the Lamb Gyro. It was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of tzatziki sauce. The meat was served in chunks rather than the slices we're used to from traditional gyros, which made it feel a bit more like shredded lamb, but it still tasted good. For sides, we both got the cucumber salad, which was wonderfully fresh and full of vibrant flavors. We also added an order of fresh pita with their whipped feta and honey. Wow! This combination is incredible! The whipped feta paired with honey is creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet, and it's absolutely a must try. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal from Taziki's. *mixed* Ordered Togo. Restaurant was empty upon arrival. The staff were friendly and greeted me quickly. Order was ready on time. Here's where we see a pivot to the experience. Got home only to realize that the sauces I paid $$$ extra for weren't even included nor was the naan bread for the hummus. The portions are also very small. Maybe 4 oz of meat on the schwarma plates. I called the restaurant to let them know that I was missing several items, only to be told the manager would have to call me to resolve the issue. I provided the order number and everything. It wasn't even an hour after I picked it up. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes -- I was told she needed to call me back and it would be 15 minutes or so more before she could. Hours passed. Never called. Did the same thing again the following day. No return call. Am I that upset over missing items? No. Disappointed, but would be willing to try the restaurant again. Maybe in person this time. However, I'm upset at the lack of customer service and support on the management side. Mind you there was $10+ in fees for the extra sauces. read more

I had been waiting for this place to open! I was shopping at Sprouts ( in the same shopping center) and on my way out of the parking lot I thought I'd take a look and see if they were open. Yes!! It was about one o'clock and they weren't busy at all. You order your food at the counter, receive a number and they bring the food to you. Self serve on the drinks( you receive a cup) I had the pasta bowl ( choices in which carb you choose) and I chose the chicken kabob for my protein. (Kabob was extra pricing) Very plump and delicious chicken kabob. Seasoned perfectly. The bowl had grilled vegetables (squash, Al dente)with a red sauce throughout which gave it a spicy flavor ( not much of a spice gal, so next time I'll ask for a little less) and of course the pasta( next time I might get it with rice) taziki sauce was provided as well. I will be back to try other meals. After I sat down and prepared to eat my meal the crowds started piling in!! read more

The food was okay. Produce tastes fresh but other than that, nothing special. The sauces and dips tasted no different than store bought. The portions were disappointing. I got the grilled lamb plate and got four sad overcooked and tough pieces of lamb. Service is like cafeteria style. Order at the counter and they bring out the order to you. Decorations inside were nice though. Bright themes and lots of photos of what I presume are of Greek islands and scenery. I was greeted warmly when entering and my order was taken promptly. It felt like a deli of sorts. I ordered the street gyro plate and asked for no chips, but rather just rice. I was charged an additional .85 for the rice which is fine but I also get a side of rice and still got chips I didn't want. Not sure about my order. I did order the lemon chicken and rice soup as well and I did order my meal to go. I did get my order pretty quickly but I noticed my name was butchered like I was in Starbucks. And it's 3 letters. If you didn't hear me, please ask again. The sit down tables are nice bit not as homey as other Mediterranean places I have tried in SA. The food is ok. Not the best. The soup is indeed lemony and I like lemons so it wasn't a big deal. But I can see this soup not every ones cup of tea. The rice was ok and pretty fresh. No crunchy bits which I like. As for the street gyro. I have to preface I am a hard core gyro guy. I lived in Queens NY for a number of years and I know Greek food. I had a Greek family as owners of a business I worked for growing up so I even know what home made Greek food is supposed to taste like. So I have to say the street gyro was the greasiest gyro I've ever eaten and it's one of the smallest. Overall not bad per se but if rather eat at the taco joint across the street and it's less greasy. read more

Stopped by for a bite to eat and this is a fairly new place in the area. Service was good and plenty of food was served. Plenty of seating and everything from the counters, soda machine area and table tops were all clean. The chicken salad was very big and all the vegetables tasted fresh, plenty of food for a salad. The reason we took stars off was because they gave our hummus and pita app to another table and we ended up getting our app after our main dishes were served, the chicken salad came out without any dressing and we had to get up to get some and the beef gyro was pretty bland. We came in at the end of a weekday lunch rush so I don't know if that was the cause of the problems of our order but we eventually got all of our order. Would I come here again? Probably, but I really want to try their whipped feta dip. read more

Delicious , those who love Mediterranean food will love it here . Greek Mediterranean is one of my favs. The chicken is super tender and flavorful , the salad is sooo good and so is the rice. We've eaten here twice and have mixed reviews. Our first experience was fantastic. We ate at the restaurant and the food was fresh and delicious. The husband had a falafel salad, I had their Turkish meatball feast and our son had grilled chicken feast. All were delish and had a great experience. Great service and clean restaurant. Ordered takeout today, their Mediterranean salad was very good, lamb gyro was good but the potatoes were a little stale. Greek lemon soup was very salty and on one of the gyro plates we paid extra for asparagus as a side. Unfortunately we got 3 puny pieces which "should" amount to 3 ounces. Since their sides our pretty generous or good amounts I was pretty surprised at how in 2 bites those asparagus were gone. I called the restaurant to speak to the manager to see what their portion policy was, and he pretty much mentioned that three asparagus was the normal portion and didn't apologize for inconvenience or offer an option like most restaurants. Which is fine but lesson learned that we will NOT order asparagus from them again. read more

Second time visiting Taziki's and I am so happy I came back!!! First time was average at best. This time I tried the chargrilled lamb and it did not disappoint! It was juicy and flavorful along with roasted red potatoes that were seasoned perfectly and a side Greek salad that is as good as any I have ever had! I also enjoyed the baklava cheesecake which was better than the regular baklava I had last trip and both were delicious! So as always I have to let you know my less than great items. Once again the Taziki dip was not good, it was again watery and this time had an odd chemical flavor, just skip it and get the spicy hummus. The hummus was solid, wish they would put red pepper at the table, just salt and pepper. I then ordered a plate where you select a salad, I went with Greek, a starch, I picked the basmati rice, and a protein, I picked the grilled lamb. The salad and dressing was tasty, good amount of feta , cucumber, and tomato. The lamb was grilled very well and went well with the Taziki sauce. The only disappointment was rice, it was undercooked for my taste and lacked flavor. You can get red potatoes instead, I'll try that next time. Definitely worth a next time. read more
