An amazing night Saturday May 16, 2026. We had a party of 14 for a birthday celebration. The service was phenomenal and the manager was all over it. She was a super hostess! The food came out with perfect timing and each pizza exceeded expectations. The salads were delicious. They had our table set up perfectly and everyone had a great time. This is an excellent place to go to celebrate. Great pizza , warm friendly atmosphere and everything we ordered was excellent. This place's cheese is the best I've had in a while! I am lactose and it didn't hurt my stomach at all. That is good cheese ya'll I came here solo and I ordered 2 slices thinking they would be small but as you can see, they are pretty giant. So I finished 1 and half and the salad that came with it. Their drinks are also refillable. Overall, this was a great experience. The price was super affordable but the quality of the pizza was beyond expectations and simply delicious. The last 2 times we have been there for pizza its not been that good at all. Ask for extra cheese and extra sauce and there was neither. Wasn't charged for it. It's been a while since I have eaten at Capo's Pizzeria and there were a couple of changes. Ordering, at the Broadway location, was done at the counter. For this visit, we had a waiter take our order and, just as everywhere else, prices were higher. I ordered the Spinach Calzone, which I shared with a friend, and the other person at our table, ordered two pizza slices with a soda, from the lunch menu. I enjoyed the calzone. The price was reasonable and the calzone was big enough to share. The pizza slices were ok. The cheese was a bit on the solid side, but overall, the meal and the experience were good. Wait staff was very attentive and Capo's is clean and suitably decorated. I did feel that the service took a while, but there were plenty of people eating from the offices around, so it was understandable. read more

Saw a great review about this place on facebook earlier today. Just cane and LEFT with my friends. Went in to the stablishment, loved their specials, took a seat as their sign said... 10mins passed and the white okder lady saw us went to a different table to tak to them and check up on them, then walked just passed our table ignoring us and went to the table in the corner to check in on them. I got up and started gathering my stuff to leave, she sees me and again just walks by like nothing. Then a waitress steps out, younger black lady... no aknowledgement either... right next tomour table cleaning it but no service to us since the moment we stepped in. This is on a Wednesday evebing at 7:30pm with 4 tables closing checks, no other new tables but us ready to order. Incredibly RACIST to be ignored and brushed off. Who ever the owner of this location is know your staff doesn't give a ish about making this place successful. Pitty. read more

They have pizza by the slice, but it's made to order. Kinda strange, but it didn't take too long to prepare. I had a slice of the veggie pizza, that included fresh peppers, 'shrooms, artichoke, onion, tomato slices, and onions. The slice of pizza was huge! It was the size of two slices at other places, so the price of $4.70 (before the Yelp checkin discount of 15%) was a good deal. Based on my first experience, I'd label this place as a good place to go if you are in the neighborhood, but not good enough to drive out of your way for. The service was friendly, the place was clean, and the toppings were good. Our server was nice but we had to get up to get our own refills, unsure if that's the norm or if she just want attentive enough. She was very helpful with the menu however. The crust is the best I've ever had! Perfectly crisp on the bottom and fluffy and soft inside. The toppings were also good, but the sauce was meh. It was pretty unevenly spread, so my boyfriend said it needed more sauce, but I had bites that had a lot of sauce, and it was really bland, just tasted like tomato. Service is subpar. I've walked-in for take-out, called-in for take-out and eaten inside. I've waited for extended periods of time, to have incorrect orders corrected, slice combos forgotten about or called-in orders delayed. The product is always good but I've never seen the same team member twice. This leads to very inconsistent service and seems like this is usually the person's first service job. Presents itself as a NYC style of pizza and it could be argued it is; thin-foldable slices and sauce to topping ratio remind me of my trips to NYC. However, the pizza making is hidden behind the kitchen door and this is definitely not a counter service (grab-and-go) spot. I wouldn't go out of my way for Capo's but if I have time and am in the area, I'll stop in. read more

I'm providing three stars because the customer service was great. We did not enjoy the pizza nor the calzone. Underneath there was burned ash as though maybe the grill or pan was not cleaned properly. My Grandchildren are usually not picky with pizza ages twins 5 and 7 year old and three teens. All took a couple of bites and said they couldn't eat it it was gross. I was like surely you guys aren't giving it a chance. Well I didn't like it either. My favorite pizza spot in San Antonio! This was the first place I knew where you could get pizza by the slice (my personal favorite way to eat pizza). It's New York style pizza (Buffalo, NY they tell you on the walls inside). The staff are and have always been cool and laid back, just checking in and making sure everyone is ok. Let's get to the pizza, the pizza is definitely made to be like a New York slice, but the pepperonis give a spin. The pepperonis are a little spicy but not where you'd need a drink to eat it, and they're tasty but you'll get one in all your bites. The crust is able to fold so you can eat it right. The cheese isn't overly cheesy but you'll enjoy it with each bite. The pizzas will get you full but won't make you feel bloated or heavy like some other pizzas. They also have lunch and daily deals that are worth the the meal. read more

The ambiance was low lighting but decor was still visible on the walls. Our waitress Brianna was attentive , friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had ordered pizza(pepperoni/cheese), wings(hot) and pizza rolls (pepperoni). The pizza was authentic non greasy and fulfilling. The wings were to a perfect crisp and meaty the sauce was on point (not spicy) but delicious!! The pepperoni rolls were softer than a fresh donut. The cheese and pepperoni combo was amazing. Did I mention all their food is freshly made to order ?
