Who hasn't been to Bob Evans? It's a chain right? This location I popped into for lunch one day with a friend on her lunch break. We wanted to stick close to her work, so options were thin on the ground. The atmosphere was freezing and the cost/value ratio was a bit poor. I haven't been to a Bob Evans in a very long time and this did nothing to entice me back. Server was nice enough, and the environment was clean enough. It's honestly the food itself that I can't seem to stomach. Bland, boring and flavorless. Sorry Bob Evans, it seems you know your clientelle though. read more

We had a great experience the last 2 times, our only times, visiting Bob Evans. For a quick night out on the way to grocery shop, it's perfect for us. The place is clean, the waitresses have been on the ball and the food is good. Eggs, pancakes, turkey sausage. Good, as in I've ordered the same thing both times and it was good, no complaints. The food arrived quickly. No wait. Everything hot. My husband loved the chicken fried steak and mac and cheese. No complaints from him as well. If I wanted perfect food, I'd cook it myself. But since I didn't feel like it, this did a great job doing it for me. We'll be back. No issues. read more

Worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. After being seated it took 15 minutes to place a drink order. That was after we interrupted someone to come over. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. Then the order was delivered wrong, of course. We had to ask for more drinks only to receive them after watching the waitress bus two other tables prior to filling the order. Asking for the check now, maybe I'll have that in two days or less. read more

Horrible Horrible establishment. I'm not sure if everyone on the staff was hung over from Saturday night or they just forgot they had a job to do . Ordered a hamburger, it came out with cheese . Thank God we don't have a cheese allergy because all they did was scrape the cheese off the meat . Ridiculous. One meal came out 15 minutes before everyone else's . The others took 40 minutes and weren't even cooked enough. Hash browns weren't finished cooking . Only received half of the meal . There was a woman behind us sneaking a Schnauzer bites of her food that was hiding in her purse . The area of course provides only the bottom of the trash barrel staff . Not only will I never return to this location . I probably will take a different way to work everyday so I won't have to ever see this place again . read more

Great food and magnificent coffee. The staff is usually very friendly and they often greet you as soon as you walk in the door. This place is great for morning meetings, although sometimes there's mire than one meeting going on at a time and things get noisy very fast. Overall, a good experience. read more

Best biscuits in town, food is usually pretty good. I avoid the omelets because I believe they use some sort of pre-beaten or powdered egg mixture. The biscuit sams are great, as are the pancakes, blueberry or otherwise and a good value too. I have recently taken issue with their coffee, I don't know if they changed brands or have a problem with the machine but it has tasted old and burnt on my last two go's so I have been avoiding them recently. A good cup of coffee is an essential part of any breakfast. Good Luck. read more

I don't know how anyome can rate this place as bad. I go there 1 or 2 times a week and the waitstaff is super friendly and pretty quick, the food is tasty and fresh and portions are mammoth, plus all the kids meals are $2.99!!!!!!! AND THEY'RE great!!! REAL CHICKEN FINGERS, BURGERS, SPAGHETTI....YOU NAME IT. Want extra side of gravy or sauce, no charge. The Pot Roast sandwich is to die for and the Smokehouse Burgers are quite tasty and all the breakfasts are great and they open at 6:30 am. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Sundays are tough cause the church people are there and they linger and run the waitstaff crazy so the waits can be long, but the food is always good and I've been going there for 2 yrs now. LOVE BOB'S!!!!!!! The one in Towson stinks..........slow service, but nice people and the portions are skimpy. read more

I really like the sausage chili. Always yummy! The crepes are pretty good as is most of the food. It's usually pretty clean and the prices are reasonable. However, the last time I went ( about 2 months ago) the waitress that seated us asked if we had a preference and we did . She obliged us only to have an older waitress yell over the crowd asking WHY she didn't seat is elsewhere. The same server dropped dishes/ glasses behind the counter and instead of being professional she was loudly stating how she couldn't wait to got OUT of there! My wife and I went there for breakfast around 10:15 on a Friday morning. We walked in and had to give our name for a table. We waited 20 minutes before I walked around the corner and counted 10 empty tables in the restaurant. Why we waited so long to be seated when there were several open tables available is beyond me. After complaining we were finally sat and I timed another 10 minutes before a waitress came over to get our drink order. By then I was furious and just got up and left, but not without speaking to the manager first who was completely useless. I expressed to him that I thought it was unacceptable to keep people waiting when there were plenty of tables available and that it was also unacceptable to be ignored by every waiter/waitress in the restaurant after we complained. He simply said "sorry". I wouldn't go back to this location if they were giving away free food!!! -10 stars would be my review however I have to give at least one star. read more

Don't get me wrong. I like Bob Evans Restaurants. At least, most of the time anyway. This one, though, leaves something to be desired. I came here because -- like I said -- I like Bob Evans eateries and this one was close to where I needed to be for an afternoon business meeting. Unfortunately, this particular store did not live up to what I've come to expect from Bob. First, I ordered one of Bob's "farm big" hamburgers, but was told by the waitress they were all out of sandwich buns. How does a restaurant that has at least six different signature sandwiches that are supposed to be served on buns have no buns at 12 noon, the height of the lunchtime rush? Well, okay ... Just a fluke, I thought. So, I ordered the pot roast dinner. Now, in ordered this same dish at other BE locations, and it always worked for me. Not this time, though. What I got was something that looked more like a bowl of greasy gravy poured over a few stringy strands of pulled beef. The mashed potatoes were watery. The steamed carrots were totally mushy. It was a mess. I can't get over how bad this BE store was compared to all the others I've eaten in over the years. Frankly, I think a change in management is very much in order. read more

I used to go to Bob Evans for a long time every since it first came to Baltimore on Belair road. I loved to get the panacake because they were soo big . As big as the plate. Now they give you some silver dollar sized pancakes and still charge just as much. The sausage has changed as well smh. I dont even think it Bob Evans sausage. What really did it for me is when I got an email for their "all you can eat pancakes" and they told me that they are not doing it. Sorry Bob Evans you have lost a long time customer. This was my first time at this location.. It wasn't crowded, and it was neat and clean. However, the waitress was less than an attentive server, and like I said it was not crowded soooo I'm not sure why it took so long for her to greet us or for our food to come.. The food was okay, but my friends steak was not prepared the way she asked. The cook apologized and remade her meal. I really couldn't wait to leave and in the end, the waitress gave us the wrong check-minor mistake but still... I don't think I will be back to this location... read more

I normally like Bob Evans but this one was terrible. French fries were horrible, and those are hard to mess up. They were hard as rocks! The service was horrible too, slow and inattentive. My mother's sandwich had weird stuff in it too. My grandmother, however, have good soup and sandwich. read more
