Waited 15 minutes for a waitress. Nobody checked on us and after 15 minutes we left. Not going back.

We had our dog with us so we only planted to get carry out, and then we discovered a shaded patio. We decided to stay and eat outside. I was standing at the host stand for quite a while because I hadn't noticed the seat yourself sign. I had also walked in the restaurant and was looking around for any employee - two servers at a table saw me standing there looking confused but then just went right back into the kitchen. When another guest pointed out the sign, I thought well that's great but if we want to sit outside will they ever know we are there. Someone finally returned to the bar and we were able to get a server. We ended up ordering three appetizers - skoat balls, cheese sticks, peach Burrata. All three good. I also ordered a blueberry mint mocktail beer that was actually quite disappointing. It was also quite a charming little town! Would like to go back again sometime, sadly that is unlikely to ever happen.

My wife and I discovered this restaurant just one week ago while visiting another local business, but have already visited four times. Each day we have gotten something different, and each time we have loved what we ordered. For the daily specials, so far we have gotten the chicken and biscuit (superb!) and also the beef tips and gravy over noodles (excellent!), while on our other visits, we ordered off the regular menu. From what we have ordered off the regular menu, the meatball sub was super tasty, with excellent marinara. The roast beef was fall-apart tender, like that of a pot roast, and the meatloaf was delicious as well. As for their sides, their chicken noodle soup is amazing. I could make a meal on it. Their curly fries are some of the best I've ever had, especially with their ranch dressing, but something that really surprised my wife and I were their pizza logs. You only get 4 in an order, but what they lack in quantity, they really make up for in flavor. When it comes to the desserts, we don't always have room. We tried the strawberry shortcake on one day, and it was really nice. On our most recent visit, my wife took home a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie and I took home a slice of apple pie. They made for a great late night snack. My only regret is that it took me almost four years living in this area to discover this place.

They always have amazing specials that I usually go for, can never go wrong with one of their steaks. The caesar salad and cornbread biscuits are a great start. Neither of these hurt the review because though slow, service was very friendly and I would just cut out the app if I want a better price. PE was an enjoyable experience. It's nestled right in every day suburbia which made it fun - the local place. The fried chicken and waffles was very good and portions are fair. My server allowed me to sub mashed potatoes instead of the day's veggie, which I appreciated. I was excited to try "blueberry glazed" wings which, major bummer, we're seasonal. I got the sweet-hot. The wings were tasty but a little sog - slightly longer fry and good to go. I recommend Pineapple Eddie and I'll be adding it to my Erie rotation when I visit again
