Half sandwich and soup combo with a BLT and chicken noodle soup. Yum!
    Julianne S.

Our family recently experienced a sudden loss, and after a long day of errand and planning, my husband and I stopped into Bob Evans for a late dinner. The staff was extremely warm and friendly, and the service was lightning-fast. For my meal, I ordered a half BLT sandwich with a bowl of chicken noodle soup. My combo also came with my choice of pumpkin bread, biscuits, or dinner rolls, and I of course chose the pumpkin bread. Yum! I had never tried pumpkin bread before tonight. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased a full loaf on the way out. The sandwich and soup were equally delicious, though the lettuce on my sandwich was not terribly crisp. My husband ordered the Rise and Shine breakfast combo, featuring eggs, toast, bacon, and fruit, though he could have chosen a potato side instead of the fruit. We also shared a cup of biscuits and gravy. The gravy was full of flavor but the biscuits were a smidge hard. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to return in the near future. I highly recommend that you stop in the next time you're in the mood to have someone else do the cooking. Bon Appétit! And make sure to try the pumpkin bread while it's available.

I stopped in with friends for brunch. I had the Breakfast Sampler. My eggs were over medium and cooked perfect. The banana bread was outstanding. I will ask next time not to be served the end piece. There is plenty of parking. Clean restrooms. The servers are all good. I have never had a server here that was not good. 5 Stars for servers. 5 Stars for food 5 Stars for ambiance 5 Stars for reasonable prices.

Service is normal about 15 minute wait. Waitress is friendly Food comes out hot and right. Their water tastes like tap water and they didn't have ice. Burger is alright needs more seasonings and fries need some salt. Music is playing and you can hear conversations around you.

Ordered carry out. Absolutely disgusting. The chicken and noodles was obviously the bottom of the barrel for days. Took one bite and couldn't take more. Ordered to go banana nut bread.. wasn't cooked properly. Didn't rise, was barely a half of a loaf.

Overall, I'd give State Line Restaurant 4 stars…read more One of my favorite things about eating here is the homemade strawberry jam and the coffee. The jam is absolutely delicious, and the coffee is consistently good. Those two things alone keep me coming back. My go-to meal is the chopped steak breakfast, which is always satisfying and cooked just the way I like it. I also tried a bite of my friend's country fried steak, and it was excellent. My husband is a fan of their cheeseburger and fries, which are always a solid choice. The food is good across the board, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable for what you receive. In a time when so many restaurants have become expensive, it's refreshing to find a place that still offers good value. My one small complaint is their policy of not seating your table until everyone in your party has arrived. I understand the reason behind it, but when you're looking forward to that first cup of their excellent coffee, it can make the wait feel a little longer than it should! So if you're meeting friends there, make sure they're the on-time kind of people. The service is friendly, the food comes out hot, and the overall experience is always enjoyable. All in all, a very good meal and a place we'll continue to visit.

When we pulled up, the outside looked a little quiet and honestly the whole town felt kind of abandoned. But the second you open the door -- totally different story. The place was full of life: music playing, kind faces everywhere, and the smell of amazing food. We started with deviled eggs for an appetizer. My dad ordered the ribs with carrot salad, coleslaw, and baked beans. I got the pulled pork with greens, mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes. The food was out of this world. The ribs? They understood the assignment and got extra credit. The meat literally fell right off the bone & perfectly seasoned. I definitely stole a few from my dad's plate. The pulled pork was incredible too -- super tender with no gristle, which I loved. And the sides... oh my gosh. My personal favorites were the mac & cheese, greens, and the baked beans. We finished with the apple crisp for dessert -- so good and easily enough for two people. And the best part? Everything is made fresh. We don't live in the area, but I already can't wait to go back.

Located in Old Milford, This restaurant looks like a diner, but I love their menu. It's a mix of tapas style, brunch, salads, sandwiches, has a speciality section for lobster with a unique drink menu. I love it! The inside is very welcoming and love the decor. Not too huge but definitely an intimate setting. Since it was a lovely afternoon, we sat outside. We ordered: Drinks: -Paul Ponnelle Pinot noir (France) -Pierre Delize sparkling Blanc de Blanc (France) -Garage Beer Lime Lunch: -Chicken salad club sandwich -Arugula salad-grilled lemon vinaigrette, radish and Parmesan Potato cakes- whipped feta & apple butter We got our meals right away and they were delicious! Love the lemon vinaigrette as my dressing for my salad. The combination of the apple butter and whipped feta went so well with my potato cakes. I tried a bite of my fiancée's sandwich and loved the toasted bread and the chicken salad had great flavor! Our server was Hannah and she was very kind and attentive. What a great experience! They had parking, and although they were full on reservations, 2 spots at the bar opened up and we grabbed them happily! First, the food was FANTASTIC! I had the Willy Burger and my husband had the fried bologna sandwich and we both loved what we ordered and vice versa. The sauce on the burger was phenomenal! The drink menu was extensive and looked so good but we were in a bit of a hurry and I'm 6 months pregnant so we settled for waters. Second, the service was excellent. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The ambience was great, I loved the big open garage door and patio seating they offered. The decor was so cute! We are bummed that brunch reservations for tomorrow are full, but we will absolutely be back!

Wobbly table, several groups were there. (I guess service guest service is a dying profession) ? I don't understand why a restaurant resorts to plastic cups from Pepsi or paper napkins? Prices don't reflect that. Sorry I digress Service was slow and she forgot our order, eh? No suggestions for menu options or anything. We chose fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs. Oil for fgtom tastes old. Not delicious eggs with ok. Service is sloppy slow. ( do I keep the fork I used for tomatoes for my entree? I'm at a wobbly table, service is slow and you had to ask for drinks silver ware. I had the 2 piece dark chicken. Good but really spicy and I like spice but this is extremely intense. The Charlie Brown entre was a lot of melted cheese and burnt bacon.our guests had the shrimp and the salmon. It was so loud, screaming across the table loud and there were all of 8 people besides us. My chicken would have been good if it weren't so overbred and over spicy. I had to ask for more beverages. I just don't understand how a restaurant that charges these prices and is mediocre. Paper napkins tv everywhere and not on LOUD, outdoor tables and no cloth. Service that connects with the patrons. This is not greyhound or tousey house. . WHAT KIND OF PLACE IS THIS. Overpriced and cut the attitude with a machete. Many restaurants do exactly the same menu and well. Purple Poulet is one
