First time here they were busy but had plenty of staff. Service was slow as they were standing around talking. Finally ordered food after 15 minutes after we got our drinks. I and the Uncle Moose's skillet and the wife ordered the avocado omelette. Both dishes came out hot and were very good. I would definitely go back and try something else. No complaints on the food but when it was time to leave, we had a hard time finding our waitress. We had to ask someone else to send her out with our bill. This was the only complaint. read more

But they tasted pretty good, for it being a paste. The food is decent, in my honest opinion not the most flavorful. It was very busy but our service was pretty good. They managed to give us what we need with a full house, so that is definitely appreciated. This place is literally a hidden gem for breakfast restaurants, Food is incredibly good with many options my personally favorite being their breakfast tacos or chili bowl! All the workers and waiters/waitresses are super kind and always offer great service when ordering. Surprisingly while maybe not the most glamorous place on the outside the inside is what it's all about, very nicely designed dinner with plenty of booths to sit in while enjoying your meal, can't recommend them enough! read more

I love going to the Scrambler whenever I'm in town visiting my mom. I go to church with her and then her whole group of friends meets at The Scrambler for breakfast, afterwards! Char has been their waitress for years and she's the best ! Always quick, efficient and friendly service - even though it must be difficult to serve this big of a group! I've had many things I've enjoyed there. This time I had the wild west omelette. It was very cheesy, if you love cheese ! I like the avocado omelette, too. The pancakes are huge and delicious! Try the lemon blueberry pancake. This is a great spot for big groups or for just the 2 of you. It's always crowded on Sunday, but they are nice enough to have fresh coffee out front while you wait! The omelettes are huge and delicious. Multiple different omelette combos or build your own. My favorite is the pumpkin stuffed French toast. The regular French toast is also delicious. My husband and I arrived at the Sharonville location and from the first second I felt disrespected. Charlyn only addressed my husband and was dismissive of me when I spoke to her. I ordered the Traditional Benny and wanted fruit, but was informed the fruit was al mixed up and they couldn't leave out the pineapple, which I am allergic to. It was sub-par at best. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy and it tasted off, like it was from the previous day. Charlyn delivered our food and basically never came back to make sure we were good. She instead stood talking to what I assume are her regular customer, telling them about the many other places she has served at over the years. She obviously didn't learn that new customers can become the best regular customers. To top it off, the coffee was $4 for a cup! Never will we be back here! read more

The hostess was extremely polite and helpful when she took my order right away, maybe that was rude of me to have asked her to take it, but I knew what I wanted.the waitress then brought me my drink as requested, and told me she'd be taken care of me, my food would be out soon. I had ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich add lettuce and tomato, subham for extra turkey, and a side salad. The side salad took a few minutes and the waitress told me the sandwich would be right out. this side salad was pretty much half cheese, like there was a gigantic pile of shredded cheese on the top of it, which covered up the sliced cucumbers that had fallen apart and become soggy, almost going off over the entire salad. Not a good taste. The raspberry vinaigrette was pretty sweet and strong, with very little flavor to balance it out. Before I really got into my salad thesandwich arrived. Unfortunately what you see in my photo was the sandwich I received. It doesn't look very great. It didn't have any of the powdered sugar on top, or the honey mustarddipping sauce. Not a huge concern because I figured it should be sweet enough and I took some of the strawberry jelly off the table to give me the full montecristo flavor. so I took my first bite, pretty excited because I've been wanting to try a sandwich like this.... I don't know if this is a good example of one, but it definitely didn'ttaste good. The French toast was extremely bland, it had a decent eggyness to it, but not very sweet, certainly not crispy, and very spongey. the lunch meat was awful, not that you could really expect much out of lunch meat, but I expected more. Just tasted like salt. there was plenty of cheese since I took some off of my salad to add to it, and they did oblige my request by adding gigantic slices of tomato, but the grill on the sandwich was bad, it hadn't formed a nice crispy crunchy texture, the Swiss cheese was half melted. Overall it was not a great trip. 2 stars because of the hostess and the quick service, nothing else is positive. read more

The location was fairly full service for seating and ordering was fine. We ordered a waffle and banana granola pancakes. The waffle was overdone, which there is no redemption for at that point. So it wasn't finished. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, but only had a sprinkle of granola and half a banana divided amongst the three-large stack. The top it off (or not), I remember seeing that it should have been topped with granola and banana slices, but it wasn't. I asked the server about the topping, she went to ask about it and was told that the granola and banana were inside. I knew that, but pulled up the menu on my phone with a picture. I was done eating because I bought the pancakes for the texture. We paid and I showed the server menu item with the picture for her information. I understand she may have been new, but she was given incorrect information, I wanted her to know. The food had potential, but what we received wasn't up to par. read more

My eggs Benedict was good, the eggs were great, hollandaise sauce was good, and Canadian bacon was good and presented well. The seasoned potato side tasted as if it stale so I asked for fresh potatoes. I ordered a side of turkey sausage patties to make sure I was full (I am working out very hard and need the calories). One patty came with my meal due to a mix up. I requested the other 2 that come with an order and they didn't come out until I was paying and leaving. Server did her best and was good. She comp'd the sausage due to the late delivery. I also heard the table next to me having food being comp'd off the check. It's a great menu and concept but the kitchen is REALLY struggling. Three stars seems about right. We ate around noon on a Friday, and the restaurant appeared to be about half full. Service was sloooooooow; it took 45-60 minutes for our food to come out. Two of our scramblers were awesome, but one person ordered something with hollandaise sauce, and he said it was more like gravy. He also said his dish was only lukewarm, and had clearly been sitting on the counter waiting for our dishes (which were hot). Bottom line, most of our food was good, but I don't think it was worth the wait. read more

I am a regular here and love the food! It's fresh and tastes amazing. Over the years, I have recommended this place to many people! However, we had a horrible experience yesterday. I went to eat with my 2 young kids. I called ahead and was seated promptly. However, no server attended to us for at least 15 minutes! The restaurant wasn't too crowded, plenty of seating and servers around. Other customers seem to be well catered to. We were sitting in the middle of the restaurant at a very visible spot, with my kids making some noise about being hungry now ( parents would know that 15 minutes is forever for elementary aged kids!) Finally I made eye contact with a waitress and asked her if there is anyone assigned to us. Turns out it was Brandi who walked past us several times ignoring us. The only difference I could find was that we are Indians ( deeply offensive to me!). She wasn't apologetic at all. Took the orders because the other waitress asked her if she will attend to us, else she is happy to! Food was good as usual. But I will not be returning to this place again. Back to First Watch- at least I will be treated there with the respect I deserve! read more

I had breakfast delivered on a snowy morning via Door Dash, and while delivery took about 40 minutes longer than promised, I was just hoping the driver got there OK since the weather wasn't the greatest. Scramblers' menu is huge and I had a hard time deciding what to get - an omelet, a skillet topped with eggs, a scrambled eggs and cheese dish? I settled on the open face croissant that came with eggs (got mine scrambled,) cheese, spinach, and ham. I changed the spinach and ham to bacon and portobello mushrooms. The food was perfectly OK. Just OK. It was half a croissant (somehow I thought there would still be a whole one,) and the bacon was super fatty and flabby. I got the potato chunks on the side with cheese. I was glad for the cheese as the potatoes were very dry, almost burnt. I also got a side of bacon, and this was the saving grave, absolutely delicious; crispy and a bit sweet. I ate maybe a third of everything and passed it off to my husband, who agreed with my opinions. I will likely find a different breakfast spot next time. read more

I ordered the spicy Baja Burrito and as a warning, this thing is huge! It is filled all kinds of goodies and was delicious. I added a few extra jalapenos, a side of hash brown and bacon. Now I am not a small person or a small eater and had trouble making it go away. But, in the name of Yelping, I pushed through. It was awesome from the first bite to the last. Chain Alert! It's another chain, but one you haven't heard of...like Show-me's. Not much discernable difference from this place and other breakfast-like places. Think Denny's, Perkins, or Bob Evans, but a little less exciting. There was nothing on the menu that really caught my eye as being uniquely Scrambler Marie's. Portion sizes are BIG. If you're not a Sumo Wrestler, they might just be too big. I got a "Mini" Classic, two plate-sized pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, and some bacon. Mid-day price was about $6. It was too much food and I couldn't finish. I liked the mid-day pricing. Saved me a little bit of money. Marie's was not very expensive. The bacon tasted like it was about to turn. It was actually the worst bacon I've ever had. The eggs were nothing special. The pancakes were dry. I could not finish them. The highlight of the meal was the hashbrowns. They were quite tasty. The service was very prompt and friendly. The location is kind of bizarre, despite what other posters have noted. This sits in an old Perkins on a dead end strip off of 42 with almost nothing else around it. You could easily miss it driving up and down 42 all day. I honestly could not see this place lasting very long, but perhaps they do great business on the weekends like Bob Evans does. However, I'd have to say the food at Bob Evans is vastly superior and the atmosphere is a more existant. I would try Marie's again, maybe I ordered the wrong thing. read more

This is going to be my boyfriend and I's second experience here. Not like the first, but still great service. The food was incredible as expected! I received a very warm fresh Giant Blueberry Muffin (I love these now) and Stuffed French Toast. The raspberry filling was so great and the Turkey Sausage Pattie's were delicious! The restaurant was about 2/3rds packed the entire time with constant work on their plate. People are their food leaving with a smiling face and moments later the table was filled with new customers being seated. The staff were exceptionally kind and positive. So far I have seen everyone working hard at this restaurant, but our server - Kyle - was working even harder. From bussing tables, ringing people out, running food and ensuring the customer's were having great experiences - he's an asset to Scramblers to say the least. I don't know if he's a manager or not, but he sure should be! We want him as a server every time. We will be back! Highly recommended! read more
