[Mon.21.Aug.2023] I went to this location on Southside Parkersburg WV to have a meal and just relax a little while, it seems Southside is expanding a good bit in businesses recently and soon in future this area will be buzzing with businesses all over just as GrandCentral Ave. Pulled into Bob Evans, plenty of clean parking all around, enter the restaurant, it was a clean and spacious area. The host came immediately which she was very kind with great smile and showed to the table i would be at, while walking to table notice restaurant was clean and customers was spaciously apart and they were enjoying there meals [which that is always a great sign], set down at table it was clean and very comfortable. Within two minutes the Waitress came to table, she was kind, nice with great appearance and knew the menu well [servers knowing the menu is always a great sign, i like it when servers does not need to look at menu when talking and taking orders, cause there able to give great feed back on items], within ninety seconds the waitress had my order. I ordered a [SweetCream ColdBrew, Fried Shrimp with Cocktail sauce, Onion Rings and Mac n Cheese] within like three minutes the waitress brought out my ColdBrew which was Perfectly Concentrated and Delicious Tasting, within another twelve minutes my food order arrived to table, the Shrimp, Onion Rings were deep fried Perfectly and Delicious the Mac n Cheese was Perfectly made enjoyed it all. After few plus minutes of my order arriving to my table the waitress came to check and see how it all tasted and i informed her that the food and drink was all wonderful tasting. Once finished up, the waitress came to give my ticket receipt to me and asked if i would like a "Free" SweetCream ColdBrew for the road, i was little shocked, due to some thing that great tasting would be free, but i said sure, but then for great experience and food i had it planned to give a good tip. Ordered turkey dinner for carryout, two of my sides , mashed potatoes and cranberries were missing, dressing was so salty it was inedible which was fine because the teaspoon of gravy they added to the top of the rolled, pressed turkey meat wasn't enough to wet it down. One of the worst meals I've had in a long while. Won't be going to this bob evans again. read more

Came for Thanksgivings had the main dish Ham, Turkey three sides bread and pie. $16.99. Service and a Friendly server. Food came fast even though they had a crowd. Enjoyed the meal as it was hot and very good. Wasn't home but came very close. read more

The 10 min wait time to be noticed was a bit much being they were not busy. My food was way overcooked wasn't fit to eat my meat was burnt the eggs were lacy and hard not as ordered potatoes over cooked dried up meat burnt only thing fit to eat was the bread. First off, let's just say old people love this place!! I don't know why or if that's a good or bad thing, it's just my observation. When the hostess brought me to my table it was soaking wet... not a big deal just an inconvenience. Although when I got my order the plate that my food came on was filthy. (maybe that's why all the old people like it... they can't see the grime as well) I got the country fried steak meal it was just ok... nothing all that great or bad. Just ate at Bob Evans on Southside parkerburg, spent $25 and the best thing was the icewater.WONT BE GOING BACK!!!!

Very, very difficult to find due to lack of signage on the building facing the shopping center entrance. Had to ask for directions at Walmart. Staff was okay but server brought me a cup of coffee less than 1/2 full and caught an attitude when I asked for it to be filled returned with it 10 minutes later, full to overflowing and dripping on floor. read more

Bob Evans review Parkersburg WV 11.26.12 Intro: Greated and seated fast, no warm welcomes. Taken care of by waitress first initially. Order 1 (mine): Custom omlette, not made with any love. Very lifeless. I still wanted more after I was done and it was a pretty good sized one. I wanted lots of cheese and it just had some thrown on the top, however I barely tasted it. The ham felt cheap and tasted cheap. I did not really care for it. There was not as much bacon as I wanted. 2/5 Order 2 (husband's): some kinda burger and he was ok with it. 4/5 Service: Princess (name on tag) was initially ok, however she started to slack off and didn't bother to check on us. Apathetic. I did not get my salad before my meal. I got it after she brought out my meal, which you are supposed to get it a good bit before the meal as an appetizer. I had to eat it afterwards, as eggs cool down fast so you gotta eat those fast. Overall: Not satisfied, thus not recommended. 2/5 stars. Only reason it's not a 1/5 is because the cappuccino was good and the wifi worked great. read more

Service is way too slow. Server is more worried about getting off work. Then taking care of her tables. Crew chief dropped off food and it looked like crap. I had to ask for biscuits which the crew cheif looked like she didnt know if biscuits came with meal or not. I dont think my family will ever come back read more

This place should be shut down for health code violations! Stopped in on 6-11-17, wasnt really impressed with what looked like a new setup to the menus. Ordered a tea and decided to go somewhere else. When I went to pay for my tea, the container up front by the registers that has cookies and pies in it that they server people out of..was completely filled with green flies and gnats. Have had bad experiences before, but today was amazing. The food was perfect despite my customizing the order. Josh, my server, was great. He was very busy but I wasn't neglected at any point and he went above and beyond to give great service. There was a clear manager presence and the food was terrific. Bob Evans took Chili off of the menu. The best thing you could possibly order from them. Sweet Tea was very watered down.

Went here for Thanksgiving brunch. Not happy at all. Our waitress was training a new hire. Not sure why this needed to be done on a holiday. Well, it slowed everything down. When our food arrived, there were sever issues with it. My father's potatoes were almost raw, and very greasy. He asked for bacon strips in the omelet instead of bacon bits. They charged us for a side of bacon. His toast was basically very slightly browned bread. His omelet had practically no cheese in it. I had ordered an omelet as well. It was prepared properly, but had practically no cheese in it. I ordered a side of sausage links which the waitress forgot to put in when she placed the order. I asked for them to be cooked well-done. Well, they arrived undercooked to the point I could still see they were partly pink in the middle. I had to have them returned, and cooked longer. When they finally returned to the table, they were cold. My sisters pancakes were not cooked through. Also, her omelet had very little cheese as well. I now understand why Bob Evans is closing stores around the country. With service like this, it's no wonder. read more

Worst service ever!!! Waited for an hour for our meal. Watched as many other groups that came in after us got their food. Watched a man grow a beard.... The seasons change..... Just kidding, but waiting for an hour for food is ridiculous. Save your self some time and hassle and go to Cracker Barrel or Tudors. read more

The service is so slow. On a different occassion two meals were burnt and had to be returned. On the most recent trip we were seated for ten minutes without being asked for drinks. Just don't bother going here. read more
